There's nothing to criticize! This is a beautiful place, worth the price. The space in the area is great, the staff is extremely friendly and enthusiastically supports guests. Coming here for a very reasonable vacation, the food is delicious, local style. I will come back again for Christmas

Wonderful place very well maintained and though being very close to Can Tho is away from the noise of the city. It feels very luxurious and we felt privileged. Staff have been adorable. Food is good too.
Really hard to find a negative point but if I have to find something it is maybe that it is not enough opened on the Mekong.

Lovely hotel on a remote island in the Mekong Delta. If you are looking for a retreat with good food and comfort, this is the place.
Rooms
Beautiful and functional rooms, especially river and lake rooms enjoy gorgeous views. We enjoyed room #11 very much.
Nearby activities
The spa has a wide range of treatments to offer, a multi-day one is well worth it. The pool is lovely, though not very deep (1.2m max).
Walkability
The expansive grounds can be walked comfortably or biked.
Food & drinks
Great Vietnamese fare and overall high quality cuisine, the meat in particular.
Certain "choreography" elements for a hotel of this class were "off", noticeable only when staying longer than a night or two.

As always a perfect 3 nights escape from the city. What stood out this trip was the Spa! Fantastic body massage treatment! Our first time using the facilities, despite being back for the 4th or 5th time now, and truthfully the only time, in Vietnam, my wife and i can say we left feeling lighter, relaxed and our bodies balanced! The landscaping has really bloomed nicely now! the property and outdoor areas are general very well maintained given the climate. Food is delicious.
There is nothing to say bad.

The service is excellent. The staff is very helpful. The resort location is unique with beautiful nature and landscape. Highly recommended for retreat and family vacation.
Limited tours and activities for guests with longer stay

Everything is amazing. Breakfast is a La carte with everything in the menu that you could possibly think of in a high class resort. The Grill restaurant was exceptional and the Cafe was amazing. service is sensational. bikes are available for cycling around the islet. Afternoon tea is like a mini high tea. All the staff from arriving at the Pavillion to leaving the resort were impeccable. An absolute treasure in Vietnam
Could not possibly fault this terrific resort

Beautiful surroundings and facilities were impeccable.

beautiful property. photos don’t do it justice. also had a great bed.
being on an island is hard, you have to pay to leave the property and the supported times are really not ideal. can end up costing a lot to go back and forth. Also be aware that the little lizards can get into the room, they make a loud noise but are harmless and quite cute :-)

Loved everything from the amazing location to the incredible staff and unbelievable food!

The property was very peaceful. The staffs were attentive, especially the spa. One of the best spas I have had.
The management was absolutely abominable. We had our car park in the Pavillion (the entry point before getting on the island) and we left with a damaged car. The parking slot ( enough for 10 cars) provides no security with no appropriate camera angles to look over the cars despite being a 24/7 parking area for hotel guests. Given the slot located a step away from the concierge, they did not even alert of incident until we checked out and spotted ourselves. The staff at the time reassured us they would review the footage and seek resolution. However days later, they came back with a standard apology letter with no camera footage and no proper resolution. They did not even attempt to identify the person/vehicle that made the contact with the car. The only offer that they came back after us continuously requested footage was a free 1-night stay. Its actually laughable because its not even worth the time to get there from HCMC. All in all, despite all the pleasant experience before the incident, the lack of proper security for a 5-star getaway on an large and empty island is alarming and uncomforting if something were to happen.

lovely location, lovely staff, generally a very pleasant stay. the general manager greeted us personally when we arrived. relaxing and very chill

Very nice property, the grounds are well kept and maintained. We had a lake room view and it was absolutely gorgeous. The pool is huge and there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. The restaurant has a large selection and all the food we tasted was super good. We booked a sunset cruise and a dinner under the banyan trees and both were excellent. Friendly staff. There was one staff member, a young lady with the name tag 'Trainee' and she was the best! Her English was very good, she remembered our room number and frequently topped up our water, cleared plates etc. I think she should be Chef de Service!
We arrived at 11pm and I was 'greeted' with the words 'since you arrive so late..'. No welcome drink, cold towel or anything. We were promptly shown to our room and everything was fine there, but I felt like we were disturbing them! Overall most of the staff didn't speak English very well (which is not a problem), but it made conversations difficult sometimes. Water was not topped up, plates not cleared etc. due to lack of understanding I guess.

Our stay at Azerai was great. The staff were friendly and super attentive, and the facilities were nice and new. From the moment we were picked up, we were very well taken care of. One minor issue of an old razor being found in our room was made up for with a room upgrade.
Food in the restaurant was good, albeit a little pricey but options in Can Tho were easy to access. The staff were great in recommending various places to visit.
The highlight of the trip were our excursions on the wooden boat and the full day guided village tour where we got to eat locally grown fruits and we were lucky enough to spend a couple of hours in a local’s house while we waited for the rain to pass. Everything was super genuine and authentic - The guide, also a resort employee, grew up in that very isolated and local neighbourhood and made the experience amazing!
Lastly the hotel transfer from Ho Chi Minh City was excellent - a comfortable limousine van which made the two hour trip each way enjoyable.
Would recommend to visit, and stay in the Lake rooms. We started in the Garden Room, but the view from the Lake Room is better. If possible try avoid the weekends and local school holidays as the resort is much quieter.
It was overall GREAT value for money, however the experiences/tours and the restaurant were a bit on the pricier side.

Beautifully appointed, spacious and good facilities. Staff were polite and friendly and the manager was very warm and welcoming
One restaurant was shut but it’s a minor detail
4.7
Food and beverage items were immaculate. Great pool.
Property is simply great; the choice of entertainment in Can Tho city is very average though (this can not be influenced by hotel itself though)

the property itself is simply gorgeous and the staff is amazing to whatever needs you might need. we were there for our honeymoon and they really made it super extra!!!
nothing !

The property was beautiful and service impeccable - from airport pick up to taking a small ferry up to the island where the hotel grounds was an experience in itself. The design was spot on, with small details accounted for. The staff so friendly & attentive. I really appreciated the quiet local trekking tour the hotel had… it really showed the warmth and hospitality of the southern Vietnamese people. This tour was the highlight of my trip.
The local food dishes were below standard for a property of this standard. I had to leave the property grounds to eat meals because I did not enjoy the food at the restaurant. Also, the bed is not comfortable - I could feel the springs in the bed.

First the hotel is located on a small in a small island near Can Tho just 5 min away from Can Tho by boat. You can reach the hotel Pavillon in Can Tho by free boat 24/24.
This make the hotel location unique and very scenic as there is nothing else on the island than the hotel. This is the perfect place to relax, and you almost feel disconnected from the world. The vegetation on the island is amazing, very well maintained, big beautiful trees all around, and in the middle of the mekong
The design is very much Japanese style so pure and simple, but very chic at the same time. The rooms are pavillon that are big and very confortable with an outdoor.
There is a large swimming pool, an a very charming lake with waterlilies.
The food of the restaurant is very good quality, both local and western food.
The manager of the hotel was extremely nice and engaged, which makes the hotel service very good quality.
There are a lot of rooms/pavillon in the hotel so it is not the small boutique hotel, it is still a resort. BUT it is nicely done as they are all surrounded by big trees such that you do not feel there are too much constructions on the island.

totally the staffs were great. Thanks to them ,We were comfortable.Vietnamese were so delicious!!
The pool was so hot.we couldn’t stay poolside in the afternoon. There weren’t activities.
There were only one restaurant. But it didn’t open
everyday. There were an event for dinner every night. But we didn’t join it .But the hotel didn’t announced that the restaurant would close.
I think the only one restaurant shouldn’t close anytime.Because of Covid-19’s some people wouldn’t join event. And every events were similar.
