Such a lovely property, rooms well decorated and everywhere exceptionally clean.

Nicely located in the country, and a great base for going to places in East Anglia. Roomy bedrooms and very helpful and friendly owners. Really nice gardens that you are welcome to use.
The upstairs bedroom area is quite large, but the downstairs area (kitchen and living room) is somewhat small, particularly given the number of bedrooms. Not an issue in summer, when you can be outside, but it's not really somewhere for a large group to spend time together inside.

Beautiful property in a very handy location for our needs (weekend at Snetterton circuit). The property was presented very well and it lovely to have the heating on for us when we arrived. The bed and bedrooms were extremely comfy and all seven of us were able to have an excellent nights sleep. If anything it is almost a shame that we didn't have more time to spend in the property and make the most of its peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and location.
Contact with the host was excellent, any questions/messages were promptly replied to and there were no issues at all with our stay. Checking in/finding the keys was very straight forward and excellent directions to the property were provided prior to our arrival, making finding the property much easier than relying on Sat Nav. Parking was also not an issue, with plenty of space available.
We have previously stayed in a local(ish) hotel, but we much preferred staying at the Old Rectory. We expect to be returning to the area at least once next year and we hope to stay here again.
There was nothing to dislike.
The only comment we would have is that if you are a larger group (we were seven) and you want a lounge space where you you can all sit, play board games, watch telly, etc and enjoy at once, the lounge in this property is fairly small. It was not really an issue for us though.

Lovely location, private and comfortable accommodation.
Nothing!

Location was lovely, as was the property itself, which was everything you would expect of an old country rectory. Property size, while fine for two people, a family of four would struggle with the limited space available downstairs
Having booked an entire apartment, we had assumed this meant all rooms would be prepared and available. On arrival it was clear the assumption had been made that "2 adults" meant 2 adults sharing one room (and one bed), which was certainly not the case (we are father and son). The second bedroom had no curtains, a blind that refused to be lowered, and a radiator that wasn't working properly, also the door could not be held closed from the inside and had to be held with a case. If the two bedrooms had been presented to the same standard the issue wouldn't have arisen, and this did put a negative on the stay, and reflected in the review rating.

very quite location
no pubs close by

Quirky ‘cottage’ in a lovely peaceful location. Ideal for a couple. Access to large garden as well as private courtyard.
Appliance information would have been useful. Fridge contained food from previous occupant. No contact with host although on site.

Quirky and comfortable. Lots of room. Nice atmosphere and fitted the bill for our weekend. Much better than staying in boring hotel rooms.
Nothing I can think of.

it was quite cold when we got there but we turned the heating up to 18'C and it soon warmed up. Also we weren't expecting workmen - it was only 8.30am but would have been good to have a heads up that the windows were being painted. Communication was slow by email and some questions weren't answered.

Real Open fire, modern amenities, quiet, nice grounds, good amount of lighting in and out.
Clean and tidy easy to access not to far from Norwich. Near by supermarkets, every thing you need to cook in house, attraction to re visit in warmer weather BBQ seating outside.
Wooden stairs were slightly steep/narrow carrying cases up.
This didn’t spoil our stay at all but It wasn’t actually clear what part of the property/apartment you book. I later found the info after booking, the details came through

location, grounds it was on/near. The house had a very old/vintage feel.
The front room and kitchen area were too small
for 6 adults and one toddler to enjoy being in one room all together comfortably. Microwave didn’t work. Heating took ages to warm up and we weren’t informed that separate heating needed to be turned on by hosts for the rooms further down the corridor so my niece had to sleep in a freezing cold room when she first went to bed.

very comfortable
nothing to not like

the location was really good and i enjoyed my stay here the place is absolutely awsome
the house was really dirty when arrived but the cleaner had got our check in times wrong and had to go to hospital she then called and and came back and cleaned the place and was very apologetic this wasn't really a bad thing as we did not mind otherwise the place is brilliant very warm and cosy only final thing is that we wish we knew there was other people staying at the place before booking (i dont really want to mark the place down for this as they was lovely and the place was brilliant after this was sorted)

Beautiful accommodation, spacious, quirky and so comfortable. Sad we only stayed one night but loved everything about it 😊 Our bed in the main bedroom of the cottage was heavenly. Would highly recommend and you have to see it to believe how wonderful it is!

The property is beautiful and spacious ! we arrived and had to rush off for a wedding so I was so happy that when we pulled up we were greeted and let into the property straight away. It was warm and cosy and the kitchen had everything we needed.
i loved the WIFI was so strong and the note left with local details on was a nice touch!
we will definitely be returning for another stay.

everything was great

Great communication by the host and ample parking. Considering how big the old rectory is, it's kept in a very clean condition and as far as I am aware everything worked. It actually looks just like the pictures here. Very cosy with Adorable old fashioned windows and flooring but with modern bathrooms that were really big. WiFi was very strong, the beds were extremely comfortable. Everything is provided for a great stay.Highly recommended.
There was nothing to write here.

Lovely location and a nice place to stay
Sat nav gave us a challenge to find the property

Gorgeous location, clean and tidy, quirky decor.
Not a thing we didn’t like. just a couple of friendly suggestions, could possibly have a hair dryer available and maybe a small fresh local milk in the fridge for silly people like me who forget to buy it for their morning tea. All was lovely!

would go back next time we go that way 😉☺️
