Everything, can't wait to stay again!

Lovely friendly staff
Spacious room
Great location
Lots of parking (on the road)
The only deluxe thing about the family room is the space. The furniture looks like random and it’s all old and tired looking.
No bedside tables or lamps
Tiny TV
Bed sheets have a weird rubbery texture
Towels stained
Not particularly clean - dust on the coffee machine, the kettle is covered in limescale, bathroom skirting boards grotty and shower cubicle needs properly scrubbing
Shower temperamental - kept reducing to a trickle when I used it and wouldn’t come on at all when my husband tried!
Pub noisy downstairs but that’s to be expected and it does get quiet at 11pm
Very disappointing! We’ve stayed here under previous ownership and it was immaculate. Not sure what happened. Will not be coming back.

Really lovely hotel, staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing!
It was a hot night so our window was open but it's above fan for the kitchen. This went on at 7.15am and it was so loud and woke us up. Otherwise, slept well.

Everything
As single traveller only room left was huge full price family suite. Would have appreciated a small discount as single pensioner visiting family in the village . Have stayed before but travelling companion - brother passed recently.

Breakfast was excellent. Lovely comfortable beds. Very enjoyable stay. Brilliant staff.
Was a little noisy the first night as the room was above the bar area.
9.0 / 10.0
The decor in the room and associated circulation areas was very tasteful, managing to maintain the aging character of the building. The bar and eating areas in the pub were very tidy - certainly no spit and sawdust!
The breakfast, although very tasty was a little sparce. One small piece of bacon was symptomatic of the quantity. For the price, I would expect to see two of everything, based on previous B&Bs on Booking.com. Free parking in the vicinity is rather tight so would recommend finding somewhere where there is no danger of being hit by one of a number of careless (and very speedy) local motorists that I encountered whilst driving in the locality, one of which who pulled out in front of me with out looking! I hope my brakes work as well next time!

Location was good for Snetterton circuit. Comfy rooms

Really excellent food, lovely room, good service.
It is not a complaint at all, but there are clearly regulars that staff know well. This can lead to a slightly disconcerting entrance if busy. Just ensuring that people arriving don’t feel slightly out of place initially by getting to them quickly.

I had a car problem and had to book an emergency hotel. Very luxurious accomodation for the price. Staff were not only lovely, they helped me find a local garage and got me sorted. Would recommend to anyone.

Stayed at the kings head so we could go to Snetterton BSB. Staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delish and plentiful. Room was huge (Room 1) for the three of us. Everyone from bar staff, front of house, cleaners, chefs all really helpful, cheerful and happy in their work.
Understanding that the menu was local based, some more basic type options would have been appreciated, however all the food we ate was lovely.

Cooked breakfast was excellent. Rooms were well furnished and laid out. Not noisy for a local pub. Excellent coffee. Very comfortable bed. Good powerful shower.
Although I had booked an 8am breakfast the "front of house" turned up at 8:15 on the first morning and 8:05 on the second morning. Fortunately the chef had cooked my breakfast on time. Smoking pub guests below room windows left a smoke smell that was a bit unpleasant as it was so hot the windows had to be left open.

7.0 / 10.0
Very friendly helpful staff with good service
Plenty of safe parking
Comfortable room
Overpriced for location
Pub grub ok but overpriced and not to my liking as its just poshed up basic pub grub with a few sweet sickly sauces added on.
