Situé dans un cadre magnifique, les propriétaires nous ont accueillis avec un grand sourire et des dizaines de bonnes adresses et conseils. Les petits déjeuners sont de bonne qualité et la surprise quotidienne que vous pouvez emporter si vos estomacs sont déjà pleins était très appréciée à l'heure du gouter :) La mise à disposition des boissons dans le pool-house à un prix plus que raisonnable (1€) très appréciable également !

La bâtisse et son mode constructif font que nous entendions les personnes situées au-dessus de nous marcher et faire de nombreux allers/retours... donc insonorisation peut-être un peu juste parfois mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés de très bien dormir !

Amazing and wonderful

Lourent and Marie-Helene were gracious, wonderful host who were hospitable, accommodating whilst charming and helpful. Will stay there again if opportunity presents in a second. This on top of picture perfect surroundings, beautiful sound of river……

Nothing, maybe be a washing machine in pool area .

Extremely enjoyable, very relaxing and with the help of our hosts we saw a lot of wonderful places.

This is a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. The location is perfect for visiting many wonderful places along the Loire. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night, which luckily could be accommodated. The property owners are wonderful hosts & supplied excellent information and details of great places to visit. You will not regret booking a stay here.

A jewel of a place to stay in the Loire region!

What a beautiful setting this B&B is in! It is an old mill with documentation at least back to 1620, on a stream of water along the back of the property that provides “music” to the place. Our wonderful hosts Laurent and Marie-Helene were so attentive to our needs, and we enjoyed exchanging our stories with them. Breakfast was very good, with homemade yogurt, jams, and a different sweet treat every day. The accommodations were clean, quiet and comfortable. Two new bottles of water showed up in our room everyday, and towels were changed after two days. There is a pristinely clean swimming pool and surrounding patio, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. There is ample parking inside the gate that encloses the property. The location was perfect, out in the country but in close proximity to attractions in the Loire region. We would definitely stay here again!

Exceptional

An old former watermill with a picturesque river flowing through the grounds, with meadows and trees. Right in the middle of Vouvray (the wine appelation - the town of Vouvray is 12 minutes away by car), easy driving distance to Amboise, Tours, Blois, and every chateau on the Loire. Spacious room with a comfortable bed, equally spacious bathroom with modern shower. Wonderful hosts who provide you with every bit of information, maps, guides, restaurant recommendations. Excellent French breakfast with additional "surprises" every morning. Heated pool. A library room with books, games for kids, TV. Excellent WiFi and easy parking on the grounds. If you are OK with driving everywhere and not being in the middle of a city it's a real gem.

The only very minor comment is scarcity of power outlets in the room. This doesn't prevent you from charging your phone or laptop - just unplug one of the bedstand lamps...

The whole property was stunning, with a warm welcome on arrival, and once we dropped our bags we were able to cool off in the pool. The hosts were great, informative and helpful, really felt like you were staying with friends. Really think that the ultimate test for a property is whether you would stay again, and would you recommend to others? 100% on both.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. The location was great, pretty close to all the important attractions on the Loire Valley. The owners of the house were really nice all the time and the homemade breakfast was excellent. We totally recommend it.

A warm thank to Marie Helene and Laurent - they share with sympathy and excellence their heaven with their host with always with a smile and treat you with their delicious breakfast! The place is really amazing, every details (from the pool to the game room and library) is fruit of their passion and interest in the other. Really, the temptation of remaining here and not visiting the Loire Chateaux is very strong!

Great location to enjoy Loire Valley with family

My family loved all of the great on-site facilities (pool, ping pong) and proximity to running paths. The hosts are also great and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

It would have been great if there was a restaurant in walkable distance.

Everything. The place is perfect, with post card-like views of the countryside. The place is set in an old mill, an idyllic and quaint place almost like a dream. The hosts are super friendly that make you feel like a family. Upon our arrival I couldn't believe the beauty of the place and its surroundings.

Delightful stay

Beautiful location, charming hosts, very welcoming and informative. Good breakfast with homemade jams and a little surprise on the breakfast table each day, like homemade cake. Helpful providing tips for great restaurants and even booked for us in advance as our French is limited. The pool-area is very nice and spacy and the pool large enough to really swim. The room was comfortable and clean. We hope to be able to come back to this place of tranquility.

Lovely people. Great options for recreation; swimming pool, table tennis, games. Kitchen. Great breakfast with croissant, chocolate croissant, baguette and homemade jams.

Kitchen has an oven and microwave, but no cooking plate. No savory breakfast options (cheese, meat). For everything you want to do, you need to get in the car. Closest restaurant, bakery or supermarket are kilometers away

Great stay in the Loire

The hosts were very welcoming and informative. The B&B is situated in a lovely setting and ideal for access to all the main chateaux in the area. So useful to have a kitchen area with a fridge near to the pool for making small meals and keeping drinks. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend.
