Ok but not great.

Great breakfast. Very nice staff. Staff provided a fan when our room was too hot.

Far from center. No air conditioning. Door to patio was almost impossible to open. Property needs updates including paint.

Very comfortable hotel with a great pool

The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the pool was perfect for our kids.

The bed sheets were made of a synthetic material instead of cotton so it was a little hot and sticky to sleep.

Pictures are misleading and do not represent reality. Not worth the money they are charging.

Common areas had a lot of light

The pictures are completely misleading. The rooms and common areas look nothing like the pictures which look modern and spacious. Out deluxe bedroom was tiny. The art on the walls included overly sexual images (woman with deep cleavage wearing a Spider-Man tshirt) that made the area more tacky and weird. Toilets had no ventilation. The room would smell with a single use of the toilet. Wifi did not work. We were on the top floor with a “deluxe” room with no wifi at all. Basic amenities were missing. The room did not provide drinking water. That’s a bare minimum but the hotel only had a filter container for water in the ground floor. No water in the room. No lockers in the rooms Staff did not speak a word of English. Impossible to communicate.

La atención de la persona de recepción, si buena actitud y sobretodo atención con los clientes. Eso me condujo a quedarme en el hotel. Felicitaciones por esa persona tan atenta y servicial.

Demasiado ruido! Se escucha todo el ruido es constante y los demás huéspedes no tienen cuidado. No dejan dormir.

It is just missing small attentions to be perfect and justify the price, like : - a small snack in the room (as chocolate) - a bit more hygienic products in this bathroom such as moisturizing cream - the jacuzzi was not warm enough - real bread for the breakfast

Amazing service and attention to detail.

Hector was so kind and hospitable. The service was impeccable and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The hotel was adorned with lovely art and the breakfasts were nice. The first morning it was a la carte but the second morning, the buffet was lovely and ample. The spa was also nice with hot water but the sauna wasn't working.

Great staff, mediocre value

The staff were nice and very helpful getting us transportation to the airport with a bike race going on. . They had bikes available for us to use. wifi worked well.

We purposely booked this hotel for more of a spa experience. The jacuzzi tub for two in the room looked great in pictures but in reality it is difficult for two people to be comfortable. They told us massages weren’t available on the day we were there. The breakfast was very basic. Walking around town we saw so many stunning places; feel like we could have gotten more for our money staying somewhere else.

Wonderful stay with great staff

The hotel is beautifully kept and very clean. We were the only ones staying in the hotel at the time but the owners gave us a huge welcome. The room was very adequate for us and we had a great view of the hills from our balcony. Plaza Major is a ten minute walk along the main road which was nice as we worked off our large breakfast of fruits, omellete's and great coffee. The theme in the hotel is cycling and there are bikes you can use, which are supplied from the hotel. We had room service and ordered the beef burgers. Great service and tasty burgers...well worth trying if you are hungry. Thank you to all the staff at El Giro Hotel for making our stay so welcoming

Pictures show something nicer than what you get.

The property is advertised as a beautiful place but it is a different reality when you get there. One of us could not use stairs because of a knee problem and there was no solution offered by staff and we had to end up booking a different hotel and didn’t get anything refunded.

A great place to stay where you feel like home

Hector and Caro are awesome! the warmth they provide to the place is unique as they make you feel like home. breakfast was delicious and really complete every time.

our suite had a plastic curtain on the shower which lowers down the awesome appearance of the room. Also, and I don’t think this is an issue for everyone but the mattress was too soft for my taste
