Excelente opción de alojamiento

Es un hotel muy bonito y tranquilo, con habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas. Las personas que trabajan allí son muy amables y siempre te atienden con una sonrisa. Está ubicado a unas pocas calles de la plaza principal en una zona bastante tranquila. Muy rico desayuno.

Great place to stay in Villa de Leyva

Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast included in room charge and delicious - best scrambled eggs in Colombia! Great location - 6 minutes walk from the bus terminal and 10 minutes walk to the central plaza, but still very quiet.

I loved everything, I wish all establishments in my trip were that good

Staff, cleanness, location, calm… amazing place. the owners are taking care of everything and they are actually from Villa de Leyva. Filtered water and tea available at all times. Very accessible, on foot from the bus station or by car.

Everything. Facilities were good. Very well located, in a calm street. The staff couldn’t be better. I had an inconvenient and had to iron a shirt before a wedding, what they offered me to do it without cost. Later they helped us also with transportation when finding a taxi was very difficult. Amazing experience to relax and enjoy Villa de Leyva. Absolutely recommended.

No complaints. The only point of improvement is that volume of water in the shower could be better.

The staff is amazing, warm, polite and always willing to help; this is probably the best aspect of staying there, besides the excellent location and delicious breakfast.

The noise from outside makes absolutely impossible having a comfortable sleep.

Friendly and characterful hotel

This was a quiet, characterful property with very kind hosts, just a few minutes walk from the main square.

I have no faults with the property all all but it’s worth highlighting that the town roads are very rocky, which made rolling a wheeled suitcase very hard!

It was super clean, the staff very friendly, flexible and helpful. Only 3 minutes away from the square.

During breakfast they take your order at the table and although it was delicious and more than enough, I am more a breakfast buffet person. But this is personal preference and has nothing to do with the quality! Cause it was fresh and very good!

Wonderful hotel in a lovely town!

Everything was great. The location was central, though wheeling a heavy suitcase from the bus terminal was very difficult on the cobblestones and gravel. One staff member (owner?) carried my suitcase all the way to the bus terminal when I left. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Everything was clean and in working order. The included breakfast was delicious. Ortilia was amazing at helping me find a good driver for the day (José) and making a hotel reservation in another city. Otilia was so sweet and a joy to have contact with. My stay in Villa de Leyva was even more pleasant because of her friendliness and help.

I liked everything! It was, however, a bit over my budget as a solo traveler.

Spotless, with a genuine and warm host family.

The term "feels like home" is often thrown around, but at this hotel it's thoroughly deserved. The family which owns this hotel are exceptionally friendly, kind, and genuine people who were fun to speak to and extremely helpful in finding a driver for nearby sights and transit to other locations. The room was spotless, with an oddly impressive two-storey tall bathroom with a skylight. In a town with lots of loud bars, restaurants and crowds, this hotel being in a quiet area is a major plus, especially on weekends, where guests at some of the more central hotels likely struggle to sleep.

So I enjoyed my time here and would recommend this location. That said, the host family speaks limited English, though this is also not unusual for Colombia, even in a tourist town like Villa de Leyva. Also, while the room was spotless, it was slightly small overall. As a single traveler, this was not a problem for me. For visiting couples, however, there may not be too much space in the smaller rooms.

typical beautiful stay, with warm and friendly hosts

The style of the hotel was very cute and typical. The room was a bit small, but the bed was huge and só comfy. The staff was really friendly, and when it was pouring rain outside they offered us an umbrella. breakfast was delicious with fresh juice, fruit, eggs, bread and coffee. The town square was 5 minute walking distance, through really beautiful streets.
