Loved the location and the facilities.
The staff we so friendly and amazing I only wish I’d stayed longer.
Nothing. I loved everything about this place - obviously it’s remote, but it’s perfect!

A perfect stay! Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the tent and it was just perfect. So relaxing and waking up to the sound of waves each morning was amazing. The tent wasn't too warm. You can get into the sea for a dip even though there is a no swimming sign. There is a good restaurant on the site that serves drinks and snacks also. The staff were very accomodating and the man working at reception had great English. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in Tayrona! Views are stunning. Hike to get to the ecolodge is breath taking.
The shared bathrooms weren’t always as clean

Hidden gem, reached by walk from El Calabazo.
Sweetest staff (especially in the kitchen- thanks for coping with my dietary requirements).
Lots of social areas- volley, ping pong, free tables.
Possibly to pay by bank transfer at the end of your stay- check with reception first ;)
Get some earplugs and a portable fan- don’t underestimate the intensity of the sea.. and temperatures eheh

location was amazing . food was good and staff were great.
very hard to get to. would not recommend for older people or people that aren’t fit. young and fit destination only . very hot sleeping.

This place is definitely worth the hike. The nicest beach in Tayrona. Get there early to have the beach to yourself. The waterfalls were outstanding. Lots of wildlife.

What a beautiful place to stay at the beach. It is a bit of a walk (ca. 3 hrs from Calabazo entrance) but nothing too difficult. And the walk is definitely worth it.

a remote place you need to hike few hours in and out, which makes everything more expensive, but you pay for this beautiful location to be near the beach with only few more people around you. do not expect luxury - it's pretty basic in the nature. the waterfall close to the place is great!

The location is absolutely stunning. We came from Cabo San Juan, which is an intense 3h walk and we found a colony of monkey at the top of the hill. Bonus points!
The family room was very cut on the outside with nice chairs, hammocks and right at the beach. Beda had mosquito nets. Nothing fancy, all good basics.
You need to buy plastic bottles of drinking water as they don’t offer filling your water bottle.
Staff could have been a bit more friendly.
Wifi is only available from 7-8am, 1-2pm and 7-8pm, and it’s very slow. Best to not count on this and just enjoy your offline time ;-)

it is a great secluded option for visitors to Tayrona National Park. it was like-minded independent travelers who wanted to hike a little extra.
nothing. it was perfect.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. The area is very well kept and clean! Away from the herd of tourists of Cabo de Juan. Beautiful waterfall and river close by. During the walk we saw some snakes, an iguana and two species of monkeys
it’s a bit windy all day long, the night in the hammocks can be chilly - bring a sweater!

Amazing location on the very remote beach in Tayrona Natural Park. Even though the sea was rough during our stay amazing landscape around made us feel so welcome. Our cabana right at the beach was nice and cozy, the staff was friendly and the food was delicious and for a good price considering the difficulty of transport of goods.
The doors of our cabana were unable to close from the inside, we had to create some special “life hack” out of rubberbands to keep them closed at night.
The Interior would need some deeper cleaning, the mosquito net had holes and was quite dirty.

Great location, amazing beach and beautiful property. Food was nice, one of the staff members spoke English and was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend staying here 2/3 nights if you like remote locations at the beach.

How can anything beat this location! Wow!
Light in our cabin was so dim, it mattered little if it was on after dark.

after 20 minutes motorbike and 1h30 minutes hiking in the park I have arrived on heaven ! this place is unique a corner of paradise on earth! it’s much less crowded as it is more difficult to get here but the effort is all worth it !

It’s of course at a gorgeous and secluded beach. There aren’t too many other people there, so it’s relaxed. Our bungalow was very comfortable. It’s nice to stay in a simple and handsome wood structure. The mosquito nets worked well. Our private bathroom was simple, but clean. I’ve never before been somewhere that’s a mix between eco-camping and luxury. It was really nice. It’s amazing that they can run the facility in such a remote location.
It’s too bad the tap water isn’t drinkable. Bottled water is affordable at the shop, but it feels wrong to use disposable plastics when staying at a place that’s trying to have a minimal ecological footprint. I realize that having tap water that foreign travelers can drink would be a huge undertaking at such a remote location, so I realize this isn’t realistic. I would also say that all the travel blogs I read don’t convey how difficult the hike in and out is. This is not an easy hike if you aren’t a frequent hiker! It was worth it, but we really weren’t prepared for how steep the whole thing was.

If you like walking, hiking and outdoor/natural staying, this is definitely a place to go. The beach is amazing, not too many people; the food is simple but good, the overall stay was wonderful. The walk/hike to the other beaches is hard but worth the effort.

Nice and helpful staff.
Perfect location!
Dirty towels.

lonely wild beach (no swimming ), great but exhausting hike. great waterfall in 25 min hiking distance. internet did 2h a day which was quite a positive surprise.
they required a pre payment month before traveling using a very unfair exchange rate which made the stag 10€ more expensive thx. shown in booking.con (absolutely unneeded!). food was ok but a bit expensive

Super nice, quiet location at a lovely beach. Swimming is a little bit difficult due to the strong current, but a short dip is always possible.
The cabins are basic but super cosy. If you are looking for some quiet time at Tayrona away from the crowds, this is the place to be!
(Getting there requires some hiking. The first part is quite steep and is along a road. If you take a moto-taxi for this first part, I’d say you do not miss a lot but safe quite some time, which you may later spend at the beach instead. The second half of the trail still takes about 1,5-2 hours and is definitely nicer as it’s a narrow jungle path without any traffic.)
The wifi is really weak and basically just works for WhatsApp. But if you come to relax and disconnect, this shall not be a problem :)
