Worth it

The bed is amazing, the rooftop breathtaking, common areas are very cozy and comfortable.

The showers are a bit difficult to regulate on the right temperature.

Perfect intro to Colombia

I felt comfortable the moment I stepped in the door. It was so easy to meet people, and I felt incredibly safe as a solo traveler. The bed was so comfy, and I loved the rooftop. I never wanted to leave it, the view over Bogotá was perfect. Even though it rained when i was there the staff did everything to make it comfortable. Will be returning at the end of my trip and I’m so glad about it.

I’d say it would be handy to have shampoo/ shower gel in the showers but that’s it!

Lovely stay at Botanico

Great breakfasts on the terrace, nice and quiet in the day, fun buzzing bar at night. The bathrooms were always really clean. A great location in Candelaria with great food options a few steps away

The room was a little small, but perfect for just sleeping!

Beautiful place with warm friendly staff, fab breakfasts and a great view!

Beautiful building, loved the morning yoga class and the terrace, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff!

If you don’t like VERY communal living this isn’t the hostel for you! It’s quite small and has lots of people there which is great for socialising but might be quite intense if you want something a little quieter. However if you’re up for meeting people and making friends it’s perfect!

If you wanna have a great time in Bogotá - this is the perfect place!

Very good atmosphere! Super friendly and accommodating staff. They organised transport from the airport and to the bus terminal. So many information about tours and a lot of programm you can join at the hostel: Yoga every morning (except Sunday) - thanks Carlos!, Salsa dance lession, family meal etc. Music, bar and bonfire every night. Cosy and nice gems to chill or have a chat with other travelers. Bookexchange, board games. The breakfast was delicious and for a more than fair price! Coffee and tea available all day. 5 bathrooms with shower (hot water!) which were cleaned every day at least 2 times (probably more). There was a hair dryer and you could ask for towels as well. The rooms are quite small but with comfy beds and good/warm blankets. Curtains, lockers, bedlights and plugs near bed. Thanks to everyone, it was so nice!

If you're sensitive to noise it might be too loud in the evening/at night because there is music and fun going on (sometimes until late but not more than 23:00/00:00). And if you're in the room in front of reception you might hear people chatting a bit or people checking in (24/7 open).

Sympa et pratique

Super emplacement central pour visiter le quartier et à proximité de plein de bars et resto - nous avons tout fait à pieds. Très bon accueil, une personne en permanence présente et petit bar super agréable ouvert jusqu’à 23h

Nous étions en chambre privée avec salle de bain privée et nous n’avons quasiment pas eu d’eau chaude du séjour Lit petit mais correct

Perfect stay in Bogota

Der Aufenthalt war perfekt. Super Lage, tolle Mitarbeiter, sehr sauber, warmes Wasser, für kalte Tage eine Heizung, entspannte Abende usw.. Wir reisen nun schon längere Zeit und dies war das beste Hostel. Wir kommen definitiv wieder zurück.

Great spot to enjoy beautiful views of Bogota and relax

The hostel is beautiful, there's a lot of greenery and you can spot humming birds from time to time. Great terrasse, great couches to chill and a lovely bar! Staff is mostly very nice, and they are open 24h. I didn't have the breakfast but it looked amazing, and the cooks working there are so nice!

The kitchen was too small for the number of people cooking in the evening particularly. Sometimes the music during the day was a bit bothering, but nothing major!

Lovely stay in sociable hostel with nice roof top terrace

Perfectly located in the heart of the historical neighborhood of Calendaria, the hostel is a perfect spot for socialising. I loved the common area with the sofas where to chill, the outdoor garden and especially the terrace from which can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Breakfast (not included, COP 15000) was yummy and so was the "family dinner" they organise on Fridays which in my case was the typical regional dish of aijaco.

There was some noise in the communal area after 12 am which was hearable from the dorm.

Gorgeous old building with amazing views and chill social vibes

Gorgeous old building in the historic centre with nice shared areas and rooftop with awesome views. Also the breakfast was really tasty.

Not the best value considering it was a shared bathroom, small bedroom and breakfast not included.

It is a beautiful, chill and social hostel! The highlights are definitely the staff - Jorge is the best, he will tell you the best spots and help you with everything you need (also great dancer) - and the huge terasse on the rooftop! Great hostel, would definitely recommend!

One of our fave hostels on our South American trip

Great atmosphere without being a full blown party hostel. Lovely sunny rooftop area for during the day and a buzzy bar in the downstairs patio at night. We had a private room and the bed was the comfiest we'd slept on in a long time! Very friendly staff who are always available to help. Delicious and v affordable breakfast also available as an additional each morning. Kitchen also very clean and available for general use, though we ended up eating out most evenings as there were so many great options nearby. Property is walking distance from Montserrat, museums etc. Couldn't recommend more!

A bit more natural light would have been nice in our room as it only had a small window, but I'm picking at straws!

The hostel is perfect for a city hostel! It has everything what you might need, comfti beds, nice areas for socializing, and well located in the historic center of Bogotá, it is well organized, has a bar and exceptional staff.

The water was not hot during the weekend. On Monday it was already fine.

Comfy and easy stay in La Candelaria

The hostel is super cozy and well located in La Candelaria, which is where a lot of touristic spots are. All the staff are super nice, beds are comfy, people clean the place all the time. Wifi is stable and there are some comfy spots to open the computer if you need to work. Super recommend!

Good hostel for a short stay

Liked the staff, the location, the vibe with other travelers. There's always good music playingall day. There's nice vegetation around the hostel and a beautiful view of Bogotà from the terrace.

The shared bathrooms/showers should be cleaned more often throughout the day.

loved the hostel which was just up from the centre. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The meals were good and the bar a lovely touch.
