I am very satisfied.

Owner is very helpful and friendly. He always tries to make you feel comfortable. The place is always clean and even the room allowed to smoke smells fresh and nice.

There ıs nothing for not to like. İt is a bit away from the centre but it is also ok. About 10-15 minutes you would find yourself ın the center also.

The host was amazing! Thanks for everything Jan! The bedroom was really clean and was really confortable. The space you have, the amenities, and the comfortable bed

It's 10 minutes away from the city center but with a bike you solve all of the problems!

Superb

Jan is superfriendly and helpful. There is everything one can need for a stay, with all details well thought through. Including shoepolish and an alarm clock in the room, plus basic cosmetics and hairdryer in the bathroom. That was a very comfortable stay with great value for money!

If you don't smoke be aware that the ground livingroom floor is a smoking zone. Keep in mind that the rooms are on the 1st floor and there is no smoking allowed, so you can skip the smoking zone and not be affected by it.

Really good if one travels for work and tries to budget!

Really good value and quality rooms! Great host! Clean, and everything you need is in the room, even paracetamol and a toothbrush!

As a non smoker I didn’t like the smell on the first floor as it is free for all to smoke. Mattress was way too soft for my liking..

Easy bus transport from Enschede central station. The owner seemed a very nice person.

The wi-fi connection was very bad. I had to use my mobile data, since I could not even check the email. There was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, but probably this could be fixed easily if you ask it from the owner.

Perfect-o-mondo!

The price was cheap, the venue was full of beautiful art and lots of space, a very ambient atmosphere. We were shown the full facilities and felt welcome to make use of them. Jan the host was incredibly helpful, pleasant and has a calming influence, much like his home. We travelled under difficult circumstances and so the treatment received here made things so much easier than they could have been. I give this my full recommendation. It's on the number 4 bus route, the bus stop has the same name as the street it's on. At current writing, the single fare by bus is 2.45

Oh come on! No. Really. I'm not going to complain about the wifi not reaching all of the back yard. What didn't I like? This was one of the best stays I've ever had. I would be back here in a heartbeat.

Very kind host, very good value for money

Jan is a very kind host and I felt very welcome at his home. The room (and the entire house) is very clean and has everything you need, even a coffee machine in the room. In total very good value for your money. With a bike, it is around 15 minutes to the city center.

It is allowed to smoke downstairs in the house and the smell is not lost to the upstairs rooms.This fact is present in the room description ("no non-smoking rooms"), so no critics here! It's just a fact that I didn't read before and wished to have known from the reviews. So it might help everyone who reads this decide if it's a good place for you.

it was good

The landlord was very kind and thoughtful. The place is clean, and well equipped. The location is a bit away from the city centre, but it is easy to be reached by bus. There are two supermarkets close by.

Smoke is permitted in the living room. Personally I don't like the smoke smell.

Very good

The host, Mr. Vries is very kind and helpful, the house has everything necessary and the room even has a coffee machine and a fridge. Good neighbors too, specially a neighbor called Claudia who saved me from the rain when I arrived announced and hours earlier than I should =)
