I liked the Staff esp at the restaurant, very efficient and the open beach plan was awesome. Live band too though the singers did foreign old school songs and none kenyan songs.
The backpackers area is not habitable at this time age and era, upgrade to measure up to current times and let the customers understand the difference between the resort and backpackers, I had to request to move to main resort.

Beach front and restaurant on property.
It’s a hotel/hostel. It’ seems like a sex tourism spot. Older white men with young Kenyan women and likewise with white women. I was approached my a young Kenyan man for “services”. Left early bc vibe was weird and not many other travelers when I was there.

I loved the location, staff and service provided
Alot of mosquitoes at night

the hotel is directly at the beach, the area is beautiful and very nice. the snorkeling agency is next to the hotel and highly recommended 😊 the staff was nice and the breakfast was delicious - but you have to take care that the monkeys won’t steal it
the bungalows were exactly as described
obviously on going sex tourism on the beach and bar area - especially at evening. we were shocked when we arrived around 7pm (several old white men are dating young Kenyan girls/pled white women with young Kenyan men)
ordering and getting food took a while - so order 45 minutes before you want to eat (even though it’s not busy)

The breakfast was amazing. I have coeliac disease and was worried I wouldn't find enough I was able to eat so I waited until I saw it before ordering. We had it every day. It was a buffet and the menu changed every day. It was nutritious and delicious. The breakfast was maybe my favourite aspect of th eplace.
Partly this was my own fault, because I didn't book immediately when I viewed the property on booking.com. Rather I postposed for a while before deciding and had to ask my travel partner if she was OK with it. A few days later when I looked again, the price had doubled. This is too much of an increase and wasn't totally worth it considering that the room was very basic. We paid the same price for more luxury and more facilities in Nairobi.

Located right on the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. There is a kitchen and fridge for everyone to use if one wants to cook your own food.
The food is of quite poor quality and the service in the restaurant is horrible. You always needed to go to the bar to get the attention of staff, otherwise you would be sitting there the whole day without service. Even when going up to the staff it could take 20 minuted to even get a menu and then additional 20 minutes to put in an order and then 1 hour to get the food. This happened regardless if there were 2 people in the restaurant or if it was full.
Could improve wifi.

Excellent reception person and amazing swing near beach.

Everything was great. The location and ambience right next to the beach was a great deal. There breakfast is awesome. There is a live band or DJ playing music every day in the evening at the restaurant, which brings a nice evening chill out vibe.
It's a bit too far from ATM machines and shopping centres.
The chalet rooms on the Zanzibar section dont filter noise, a drop of a branch from the tree or a seed will make a very huge bang on the iron sheet covering your room. This would wake me up each time.

The restaurant staff and food were good, and it’s right on the water!
Not good value for money, especially the backpackers section. Very minimal and uncomfortable.

Absolutely a 10! I had a modest, but a very clean room, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, the food wasn’t very cheap but still reasonably priced, the place is right in front of the ocean… what more can you ask?
The only thing was that it had less of a hostel vibe than I expected, wasn’t super social I’d say, but still a great place to chill :)

I loved the hospitality, the very exceptional sanitation in the rooms. The meals were very good and as I requested. The linen was all clean. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The internet was fast. You definitely should go here.
Maybe the management could put some bulbs 💡 at the entrance as it's really dark in the night as you get in, nevertheless once you get onto the otherwise its gorgeous.

The location was great, the pool was amazing I especially loved how warm it was at night. The food was good and I loved that it was a beachfront property.
Some of the staff were slow and sometimes needed nudging to serve us other than that it was a perfect holiday.

Wonderful beach location
Construction work going on, loud in the mornings killing my sleep, owner resentful about blocking beach chairs for just 30 minutes while changing and showering

Live band, awesome beach front, friendly day and night gate guards and Mariam the receptionist.
It was quite expensive with little to offer. The pool water was extremely salty, my eyes got swollen.

Wonderful common area and atmosphere, there’s even a gym area. The beach bungalows are simple yet totally fine for the price, just please don’t come with high expectations.
Wifi could be improved in the rooms, so if you need Wifi for work please consider that you have to make calls etc. in the common area.
