Nothing except the Guinness
Everything , toilet leaked , shower didn’t work properly , toilet brush full of dark drown liquid , I will give you one guess what that was. Bedding felt damp , carpet was minging .

Staff were polite ad check in was easy.
The room was small and didn't have a window. The pillows were very old and were flat like thin cardboard. Woke up without any power so couldn't have a cup of tea or a warm shower and nobody answered the contact phone number. When booking it said bed and breakfast but it didn't say breakfast only starts at 10am so if you're leaving earlier than that there won't be any breakfast options.

Basic - bacon sandwich and hot drink and it was not ready on time.
The towel stink, no hot water to bath, break fast was not prepared on time.

Dinner included in the price . Very nice food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bed linen was good quality and spotless. Bed was comfortable.
Bathroom was awful. Sink too small to wash. Really dirty in parts. Needed new flooring.

F1 weekend at Silverstone.
This was the only accommodation we could find, extremely basic and okay for anyone just looking for a cheap stopover.

It was very clean, the toilets were clean. The place is very nicely maintained and I liked the vibe of it.

Location.
Room had no window so it was extremely hot. Power went off about midnight, fire alarm went off first thing. Shower was so weak it was impossible to use and the sink had no plug so impossible to even wash.

Friendly and helpful staff, saved our evening meal for us as we were arriving after the kitchen closed. Good beer. Very clean room

The only good point, location was near where i needed to be.
The was no window in the bedroom, (did not state on booking prior). Wasn't much room to maneuver around bed. The lock got jammed when trying to open from inside the room. (good job there wasn't a fire). The boiler room was in bathroom, door wasn't locked and looked like the builders had been in years ago and not cleaned up. The aerial came out of back of TV, which I had to fix. My phone screen was bigger than the TV. The bath towel were very small. More like big hand towels. Slight plus's, (that should be standard anyhow) linen was clean and bed comfy. Toilet and sink were clean. And were two bottles of fresh unopened water in room. And food tasted better than it looked?

Great customer service, comfortable room

Rather than breakfast, you receive dinner. That is fair enough. Home made chicken curry or a fry-up. The curry was good and the pub-staff very pleasant.
The room was cold. There was no hot water. In the morning there was actually zero water in the hot water system. None. Nothing coming out of the hot tap. I couldn't wash or shave. Frankly amazing. I won't bore the reader with tales of my travels, but like the reader I have been around a bit and stayed in a lot of hotels and bed and breakfast places over the years. I am also no snob - else I wouldn't have booked into the pub in the first place. So, the room was so cold - yes, it was during the cold snap - but still it was a small room and if there had been a radiator working sufficiently it would have been warm. The small bathroom attached to the room was one of the sources of the problem, it did not have a functioning radiator and was between the bedroom and the outside world. And it was very cold out there. The bed was very, very uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a broken sofa. The room was cold (I think I have said that a few times) so the bed and the bed coverings were also cold. And damp. I got out of my pyjamas and into my day-time clothes (suit etc) in the middle of the night so cold was I. The walls were paper-thin. The guy in the next room not only held phone calls that were clearly audible where he was shouting and swearing, but he kept me awake with his snoring. I know this might seem an over-the-top troll-like review, but this was place was uniquely awful. In the pub (the staff and the curry were fine, reader - you don't get breakfast as it is a pub, but you get a nice curry - that makes sense) I was told this was a 'new venture' that started during the pandemic; I get that. Pubs and the like have to diversify, but really...to be kept warm and comfortable is pretty basic and I really was neither. I had to freshen up/wash at work. So, reader, this is a flophouse with absolutely minimal amenities. It is also very overpriced at £60 per night. That is more than a Travelodge would charge and this is no Travelodge.

Struggling to think of anything I like apart from the fact I annoyed the woman who was cleaning up the broken glass, that was funny
Management came to sort out my booking after requesting another room, I felt she went out of her way to ensure I was satisfied
However I like knowing that I won't be staying again
The lack of sound proofing, could hear a full on conversation in stereo sound next to the adjacent room
No internet connection in the rooms, which was disappointing because I had work to do

Did not have breakfast but had dinner included in price, very good.
Owners just taken it over 6 weeks before.very helpful and friendly staff.
Comfy bed very clean bedding, and towels.coffee and tea, bottles of water in room.
Not that I can say didn’t like.Owners just taken it over 6 weeks before. So they still need time to refurbish
But good value. We just wanted a late overnight stay when traveling.found this place and pleased we did.
We had a small bedroom and large bathroom. But it was all we needed.

The Bull is the perfect location to explore Newporr Pagnell. The town is full of interesting pubs & eateries. The town has a beautiful river walk & some independent shops & services. The staff were friendly & kind. There were tea making facilities & bottled water. The bedding was clean & white which we like. The room had it's own key & en suite bathroom. We could come & go as we liked & it was adequate for a night.
The bedroom had no window, it was up a flight of stairs with no option of a lift. The double bed was pushed up against a wall in order to fit it into the space. Fixtures & fittings were a bit ramshackle. There was an enormous cupboard that held the cups, water & tea making things with the TV on top but it would've been better to have the TV on the wall & a small table for the kettle etc.

Nice size room for money
Very small TV at poor angle, shower cubicle broken, very noisy pump in cupboard.

Bathroom very good. Except basin. Bed comfortable. Local people friendly . Bathroom massive. Would stay again.
No plug in wash basin. No bedside cabinet. No breakfast . Needs more tea and coffee in room and milk lacking.
