Ideal home base for exploring Amsterdam!

Ideally located, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Quiet bedrooms and very comfortable beds. Super clean and stylish. All the creature comforts we could have needed plus coffee, wine, cold water and Heineken beer! Loved the nice touches like thick robes and Nespresso coffee.

Great apartment, centrally located. Clean, large good bedrooms and air conditioning. A slightly steep staircase down to the bedrooms. Very nice hosts, helpful if we needed anything. We would love to come back.

Great Manager, central location, very steep spiral stairs to bedrooms

Great Manager, central location, awesome safe front door, fast Wi-Fi,

Not a problem for us because we are very mobile, but spiral staircase to the bedrooms were extremely steep with very small stair treads. Getting small heavy suitcases down and back up was difficult, even for us!

We had a fantastic stay! Perfect location to explore the city and an extremely friendly and helpful host. The accommodation was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated throughout. We cannot wait to return - 5 *!

Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully appointed home base for a visit to Amsterdam

This property is excellent - very nicely finished, spotlessly clean and relaxing. The location in Amsterdam is excellent - quiet at the house but near to everything. The hosts were helpful and communicative, access was easy. Close to several grocery stores. Washer & dryer were great. Comfortable beds and good shower, fully stocked kitchen with welcome cold and hot water dispensers. Bedrooms and main bathroom are accessed by a typical Amsterdam spiral staircase down to the lower level, no problem for us, but keep in mind if you have real mobility issues. There is a powder room on the main level. We recommend the ramen place right down the street. Go two blocks up the canal in the morning to watch the impressive Amsterdam bicycle rush hour.

Nothing I can think of. I wish we could find a place like this in every city.

love this apartment that meets our needs for a family vacation, feel like home

family friendly, all equipments and supplies and refreshments are carefully prepared to welcome new tenants. especially like it’s baby safety feature and necessity like highchair and crib, hot and filtered water, washer and dryer with preloaded detergent, plenty of natural light, comfortable beds and clean and spacious space. very convenient location to trams; owners are super friendly and quick to respond to needs.

no drying rack for hand washed dishes; would suggest some plastic utensils and dishes for kids as well

Lovely stay, comfortable, great neighborhood and location

The location and decor of the apartment were fantastic. We were very comfortable and walked to many, many sights in the city within 15 minutes. For things a little further out, the tram down the street was convenient. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We tried several of their suggestions for meals and all were excellent. There is also excellent heat and AC which was a welcome change from other places we stayed in Europe. The fridge was stocked with drinks and there was a water cooler. So happy!

The only downside was the apartment did not have a stovetop or hotplate, just an oven. We weren't able to cook eggs, pasta, etc. and ate out a little more than expected. That said, this was a pretty minor issue and the apartment never advertised having a stovetop so not their fault.

Lovely apartment

Modern, very clean, linens were 5* hotel quality. The host was gracious and nothing was too much trouble. Ideal set-up for family of 4; extra WC was helpful.

Perfect oasis just a block away from one of the liveliest places in Amsterdam

Everything! 1) Location is outstanding - just half a block from one of the liveliest areas of Amsterdam (Leidesplein) and half a block on the other side from a beautiful canal, but immediate surroundings and interior of the apartment very secure and peaceful. 2) Excellent host who meets you there and goes out of his way to ensure a great stay. 3) Cozy, comfortable, newly renovated place, large for Amsterdam, with very comfortable beds, bathroom, furnishings, fast wifi, great kitchen with everything you need. 2 separate bedrooms with 1 1/2 bathrooms very easily accommodated our family of four.

Not an issue for us, but travelers with limited mobility should know that the staircase from the ground floor to the basement is, like many staircases in Amsterdam, quite steep.

Great host, perfect location and nicely decorated space!

We had a great experience and were pleasantly surprised that the apartment was even better than the pictures suggested. Sander (the owner) was very accommodating and a super nice guy, that gave us good recommendation about breakfast and Amsterdam in general. Location wise the apartment is situated perfectly in the city and almost everything is in a walking distance. Overall a great place to spend a weekend with your partner and/or friends! PS. top 3 best beds I've slept in
