Whether you're going to work remotely or have a nice quiet weekend, choose this place!

This is an ideal place in summer. In Alona (the village where "To Apokentro" is situated) the temperature is 8-10 grades less than on the shore. So, it's much more comfortable in July and in August. 1nd. The house is perfect. Fully equipped and extraordinarily clean. 2rd. The owner is great. If the internet is slow, he fixes it. If you want some local food, he brings it. If you have any questions, he answers. And does not disturb you! 3rd Very quiet place. You can walk for an hour and don't meet a car. People in the village are very friendly (but don't speak English well) and ready to help. Be ready to say "Yasas" or "Hello" 15-20 times per hour). And the last thing. If you work remotely, this is a great place! Nothing disturbs you and you can focus!

Nothing! But be ready that this is a real village. One cafe, no shops, no pharmacies, no stores.

Excellent choice!

Everything was perfect! The house was very cozy and the host very polite and helpful! Definitely recommend it to anyone who want to visit Alona.

The best in Alona for a restfull weekend in the mountains

Everything! A really cute cottage in Alona, full equipped house! You only need to bring your food and drinks! Beautiful interior, clean, warm and quiet.

Perfect

Everything was just perfect and much beyond our expectations! Just book the place without any hesitations! One of the most best places I stayed, and it was by far the most cleanest place I ever saw. Beside the fact everything was super clean it also has a personal touch of the lovely host. The house was full with everything we needed, including lots of fruits of the host's personal garden. We will definitely come back and recommend to all our friends.

PLS note there are not any open restaurants/ coffee shops in Alona village, so the place is perfect for people who like to cook their own food or to drive to the closest village.

Speechless stay

The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need and more!, The owner is welcoming and helpful with all we need, Garden with herbs for the tea and salad, WiFi is perfect all over the apartment and the garden. The view is astonishing!!!! Easy to find the place - we arrived by late night and it was no issue.

Nothing - definitely will book again for my next visit to Cyprus

We loved it

The house is an old house renovated beautifully located in a lovely village . The house is tidy and well organized. Kleopas, the owner, is very nice and extremely helpful.. We had a great vacation much thanks to staying at To Apokentro

In a word, beautiful.

Loved the apartment, the owner is also lovely, absolutely stunning inside and out, tea and coffee and snacks were provided which was a nice gesture, a beautiful village with very scenic views.

Best place for relaxing!

Amazing house, perfect for relaxing with all facilities you may need. Very clean, comfortable bed and full kitchen equipment. The owner is very helpful and willing to provide you anything you need. He gave us some of his own products, his local wine and cherries were the best! Definitely we will book again!

Perfect stay in a lovely mountain village

Recommended to anyone who will visit the area

Great design, comfortable beds and sofas, well equipped, with a great collection of local teas, coffee and snacks.

The hot water tank was enough just for 1 person so we had to wait 45 minutes between each shower. And the living room table is too low but a great design.

Very cozy house with all necessary amenities!Perfect for a relaxing getaway! Mr Kleopas was kind enough to offer us his homemade roze wine. Gave as a goodbye present as well. Highly recommended :)

We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect. Extremely friendly owner and the house is wonderful. It is fully equiped with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. Local taverna offers nice food and the wine in the region is great. The owner is one of the most friendly host we’ve met in a long time. He did everything to make us feel welcome and at home. We truly recommend this place!

Amazing time in the nature

To Apokentro is the ideal accommodation for nature lovers. Find relaxation in a great landscape. The house is so beautiful, clean, very well equipped and furnished with great attention to detail. The host is extremely accommodating, always available when you need him and he surprised us with fruits from his own garden, homemade wine and regional specialties. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. Thank you so much for the amazing time.

Wonderful location, modern traditional property

First of all great communication, the host was incredibly prompt wi try responses and kindly arranged everything for us same day. The property was immaculate and really well presented. Had everything we needed as a family. And location was stunning.

Nothing negative. Just go to a supermarket en route as there isnt one in the village

Perfect stay for a long weekend! Will definitely come back again!

This place is absolutely amazing in many aspects! It is the old stonewall village house renovated in a very respectful way to make a comfortable place that has all the modern facilities without losing the authentic atmosphere. The bedrooms are quiet, the sitting room is nicely decorated with wooden details (with a fireplace) and the kitchen has literally all necessary utensils. I would like to mention also the "tea corner" with an amazing selection of herbal teas. Plus a huge bonus: some fruits, snacks, and homemade wine from the owner upon arrival. The owner is one of the nicest persons I've ever seen: kind, caring, open-hearted, and perfect in communications. I recommend also the village itself as it has a very picturesque nature trail and a lot of traditional architecture.
