Great for couples, not so much for families.
The rooms looked bigger in the pictures. In reality they are very small.
The position of the hotel is far from the main restaurants. There’s a stretch with no night lights and it can get very intimidating to walk through it by night.

El lugar muy bonito y extremadamente limpio, es un hotel que no esta a pie de playa pero solo cruzando la calle tuve acceso. Los anfitriones lo mejor excelente atención.

The jungle and its sounds around the appartment, the design and spatiousness of the room, the shared places, but most importantly Ivo and his absolutely amazing energy at every encounter and all useful tips that made our stay amazing from the beginning

The rooftop pool was great. You can access the beach with a beachfront hotel with which casa coyote has a partnership with. The beach was covered in seaweed though which didnt make it that enjoyable.
Include breakfast was great
The location makes it hard to get to Tulum as there is a lot of traffic on the coastal road. All the options for for in the area are extremely expensive resort restaurants.

Ivo (the manager) was super responsive and even accommodated us for early check in!
The location is great, very close to the beach and the cenote. There is also a shared kitchen space for people who would rather cook than eat out.
The breakfast in the morning was delicious.

It was terrible hotel I have ever stayed. No hot water for taking shower and water shut down during shower. No enough light in hallway and I fell down the stairs because of that. Terrible, terrible
Breakfast was awful and staff was unfriendly. No greeting, no smile. Terrible, terrible

Beautiful hotel that feels secluded and private while being right on Tulum beach. Access to the beach through a nearby beach club and breakfast at a local restaurant.
We only saw the staff when we arrived and not again during our stay which was a bit odd but not a problem for us.
One night there were other guests making a lot of noise late at night in one of the pools. Eventually they were told to be quiet.

Casa Coyote was nestled in a beautiful part of the jungle. We had a tremendous experience, from the rooftop views to the pool, to the included breakfast at Loco. Everything was top notch!
No complaints here!

Ivo was incredibly helpful, helped us book the shuttle from the airport, and connected us with a bike rental company that delivers the bikes to you. He was very communicative throughout the entire stay so we had nothing to worry about and could enjoy the vacation.

Good location in a quiet part of the Tulum hotel zone (not too far from the bars and parties either). Everything is clean. Great view over the jungle from the rooftop.
A little bit far to drive from Tulum city. There's an access to the beach, but you cannot use beach beds or anything like that.

We loved looking out the large window and seeing nothing but trees. It felt secluded and private. The decorations were lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was delicious. Location was very close to the beach and cenote. The host was attentive the first day and helped us get settled in. There was a security guard on the property which made us feel like our car was safe and our room wouldn't get broken into.
The toilet took 3-4 flushes before all solids would go down and after flushing the whole room smelled like sewage because the plumbing was installed incorrectly. There was mice poop in the bed sheets. One night, there was a dance party going on in the next hotel over with club music blasting very loud until 4 am.

The location is great, right across the street from the beach and the best beach clubs in Tulum. The place has rooftop pools with an amazing view of the mangrove and sunset.
The facilities need to be updated and profesionalised, water constantly got stuck both in the shower and the wc. Lightinh was insufficient and there were holes in doors and windos thropugh which iinsects could crawl in.

nice room, comfortable bed, and welcoming owner.
not price worthy, very expensive for what you get. the same breakfast everyday which is an omelet with some fruits. also beach is not included, you have to bay 50 dollars each for a beach chair. location of the room is in the middle of the jungle and it requires a 5 min walk to the beach. also no reception but the owner is always available for messages and calls.

The location of the hotel, outside of the party district but close to high quality beach clubs suited us very well. The room was spacious and located beautifully with view over the jungle. The included breakfast was fine. We read beforehand about the entrance being hard to find, but found the contact with the hotel through whatsapp convenient and thus check-in went smoothly.
We thought that access to the beachclub nearby was included, but it turned out to be the access to the beach through that beachclub, not the usage of beds/facilities at that club (50 USD per person).
Room was clean and well kept up, only comment is that a few towels had to be changed when we checked-in as they were not clean.

The staff were very helpful and attentive and nice. Food was also really good.
I had an accident and fell off the balcony but the staff were there right away to help with everything !

Rooms were clean and fairly well decorated. We only stayed one night to be closer to Cancun airport, so can't really say a lot.
No views from deck or rooftop, just other units. Never saw any staff except on entry. Location was far from good restaurants and sights. Although we didn't mind walking, taxis were expensive.

beautiful location and super friendly staff, rooftop pool was amazing aswell

Even though there was a miscommunication between the booking center and the hotel itself, which ended up with us not having a transfer when arriving at night at the airport, Ivo (our host) was really understanding and offered us an amazing customer service, which I am really grateful for. On top of that, the hotel is really cozy and design, and I loved that it was a mix between a hostel feel (there is a shared kitchen where you can cook your own meals) and a design hotel. The restaurant that they work with in the front of the hotel (Loco) is really good (even though pricey, but that’s just Tulum standards). The bed was extremely comfortable and we had an amazing stay. Also, the hotel is just across the beach, amazing location and the beach is just gorgeous!!
We loved our stay, some side notes though to improve it even more:
- it would be great to have more choice for breakfast than just an omelet (especially if you’re vegan because then there’s only fruits for you)
- in the room it would be much appreciated to have somewhere to hang clothes (the little shelf was definitely not enough, especially for 2 people. A rack with hangers for example would be great)
- potentially a hairdryer too as a nice to have :)

Tulum is very busy and Casa Coyote’s location a bit outside the hustle and bustle is absolutely perfect. There is a short walk to a beach club where you can enter the beach for free.
The rooms was beautifully decorated and the jungle vibe with a dash of city was super cool.
Dante, one of the managers, was really helpful.
Breakfast was good too.
These are minor things - overall we loved our stay!
Room needed some more place for hanging towels and clothes.
Would be great if both coffee and juice was included in the breakfast.
The casa is located behind restaurant Loco, so you have to pass the restaurant everytime you wanted to go to your room. It worked surpringsly well, but at times we did feel a bit inconvenient for the restaurant staff.

Super nice room, good located, friendly staff, good restaurant
4.0 / 5.0
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were super kind. Everything was spotlessly clean. I loved the decor and the candle at pathways at night. Really lovely. Good toiletries in the bathroom. Beautiful rooftop pool. We spent a little bit of time at the beach and I appreciated that there was free access through one of the beach clubs across the street. Generally, I find the whole “beach club” seem to be tacky and distasteful. All of these hotels limiting people’s access to nature is obnoxious. Casa Coyote is on the jungle side of the street but gives guests a pass to access the beach through one of their neighbors. Very helpful.
The breakfast omelette was great but I was tired of it by the second day. Wish breakfast had more variety and started earlier in the morning. 9 AM feels like half my morning is gone but maybe that’s because I am traveling with small children who wake up at dawn. If you were out all night partying I’m sure 9 AM is fine.

Room decor was pretty good.
Nothing

We were apprehensive at first due to some reviews we saw. But the room we had was perfect and the restaurant only steps away was perfect.
A short distance from the party zone so its still fairly quiet.
The staff was welcoming and accommodating.
Highly recommended.

Very nice room, big and confortable.
Very nice pool downstairs and upstairs
A sewage smell was often present all around the room as soon as you go outside. Inside was fine except the toilets because of the door / window on the outside.
