Great location.

We stayed over Presidents’ Day weekend for a family ski trip at Jiminy Peak. The house was well stocked. Kitchen had every conceivable appliance, equipment, and even condiments. It is a big old house, but the bathrooms are all newly renovated. There were a huge number of toys and games from boxes of legos and trains to Risk, and Monopoly.
I was concerned at first that there was only one tv, but it was a good thing. We had a wonderful time as our five year old grandson learned to play Life. There were always at least 2 games going on on the living room floor. It had a great layout for hanging out together.
Bedrooms were comfortable.
Our hosts responded promptly to any requests and were very accommodating to all of our needs.
A great vacation.

We rented both the front and back house for our party of 20 adults. The house was perfect in every way. From the bed linens and towels provided, to the fully stocked kitchens we could not have asked for a better way to celebrate a 50th birthday. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept great. Plenty of bathrooms which were also stocked.
We had no problems at all. Check in was simple and Sue called me the day before to provide me with the door codes. She answered my questions and was so friendly.

We reserved the entire home for a family gathering. Overall, the home was well-stocked. Kitchens lacked for nothing. Fun Keurig coffee flavors available. Bathrooms are updated. Plenty of towels. Two washers/dryers w/soap was convenient. The ADA bedroom & bath was very well done. Our only issue was there were a few stairs, not a ramp, into the home.
Stockbridge is a charming town. The owner was extremely responsive to our inquiries.

Rooms were all unique with fine touches that felt far from cookie-cutter. Living areas were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and dining rooms lovely and ample for a big group, but cozy enough to feel at home. The front and back porches were an added Bo us

We are an group of 12 friends that have traveled annually for over 20 years and this is the best house we have ever rented! At this stage, we enjoy the luxury of each of us having our own bedroom and the house has 12 bedrooms. The rooms were well furnished, beds were very comfortable and the linens and towels were of excellent quality. The kitchens were well stocked and we had a nice large room where we could all congregate. The house was very clean.
Susan and Steve were very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The location was fabulous - we could walk right into town.
This is a perfect home for a large group or you can rent half the house for smaller groups.

Our family had a fabulous stay in Stockbridge. The house was perfect for all 11 of us, 3 generations: a well stocked kitchen, a working gas grill, a careokee setup, a short walk to the town, and a wonderful comfy living room. We were close to the major sites in the area, especially the Norman Rockwell Museum.

Spacious Victorian house in a picturesque town. We had everything we needed to celebrate with extended family, including an accessible bathroom for my 87-year-old father.

This was a great location for our family wedding in Pittsfield. Easy walking to restaurants and shops. Able to accommodate all our family. We did tend to get "lost" in the house!

This was the first time ever that we were able to find a vacation rental that had enough beds, bedrooms and bathrooms to give everyone in the family a comfortable place. We rented both houses, which are joined, and so had the benefit of 2 kitchens, 2 porches, and 2 living rooms with plenty of seating throughout. The large front house screened-in porch with comfy furniture and an overhead fan was a gathering spot in constant use throughout the day. Kitchens were both well stocked with every imaginable device. The back dining room accommodated our entire family of 13 for dinner. The furnishings are antique and interesting. There are tons of games and toys for people of all ages. Outdoor space is small but very comfortably furnished with gas grills and nice lawn furniture.
Stockbridge is a lovely, tiny town within a very short walk from the property. We had lunch out, pastries, bought gifts, and ate ice cream in just one outing into town. We found a nice playground on the Main Street, a big hit for the kids. Large grocery stores are an easy drive into Great Barrington.
The owners were friendly and readily accessible for any questions both before and during our stay. Check-in was a snap. We had one minor issue with a bed that was quickly rectified by Steve, who came immediately after we noted it. We felt confident that we were in good hands.
The neighborhood is quiet and the location at the edge of town is perfect. The area is fun to explore - Tanglewood, Lenox, High Lawn Farm, the Norman Rockwell Museum, and beautiful estates are very close by. Stockbridge is an easy drive from Boston, So. New Hampshire, NY, and NJ. We would definitely return.

Felt like we had turned back time to another era. Just what I was hoping for. Walking distance to Stockbridge passing such beautiful homes and scenery was a treat. With historical Naumkaag a few minutes away (. Some family members walked to it. ) it just reinforced the home we stayed in. Very relaxing and great visit.

Relaxing weekend in the Berkshires
After not being able to get together for several years, this was the perfect place for an adults getaway. The rooms are all very comfortable and there are multiple gathering spaces that make the home comfortable for people to spread out and relax. The home is withing walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops, and historic homes.
Susan was easy to get in touch with and was very clear about the property. At first, it was a little confusing whether I had booked one or both of the houses but Susan called me to clarify the morning after I made my reservation.

Large, Comfortable, Great Location
The house was perfect for our group of 8 adults. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened in porch. The owner was great, communication was timely and accommodating. All in all a great stay on a lovely home.

Enormous and cozy house. Two!
The place is unique and massive. Everything you can think about is there - kitchen (Rockwell prints on mugs and dishes), entertainment, games for kids and adults, stuff! Rooms are very nice and some even themed! Very walkable neighborhood - prks, museums, hikes.
Recommend the back house if you need just one.

Lovely house in a beautiful area
My family thoroughly enjoyed our Christmastime get-together here. Excellent, spacious and well-stocked kitchen and dining room perfect for groups. Lovely town and area to explore. Climate control in the house is tricky--some parts colder than others.

Great location for a reunion
Our group of a dozen women high school classmates celebrated our delayed 40th class reunion and 60th birthday year in Stockbridge at this great home. We rented the "back of the house" with its 6 bedroom and 4 baths.
The trip was thrice delayed due to covid and the host was most amenable with our requests to delay the trip until we were all vaccinated.
The large open living room and dining room that seated 12 made it easy for the full group to be together for meals and socializing. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.
The downstairs handicapped bedroom suite was perfect for one of our classmates with mobility issues. The 5 upstairs bedrooms, 2 with their own full baths, made it easy for us to have plenty of bathroom/shower space for all. The beds were comfy and the space was cozy.
A bonus for us was when, because the front of the house wasn't rented, the owner graciously unlocked the screen porch for us so that we could enjoy morning coffee and other times on the front screen porch.
The location was a short walk from beautiful, amazing, Main Street. I never got in my car over the 3 days. Everything we wanted to do was in walking distance. We even walked to the Norman Rockwell Museum.
Highly recommend Stockbridge and this property for your large group rental.

Great location, kind host, would stay again!
We rented both houses in anticipation of welcoming a few other families. There were so many options of bedrooms, many with en suite bathrooms. Tons of games for the kids. Restaurants, bakery and wine store are only a few minute walk from the house. Thank you Susan!

Great family reunion spot
Sue was very helpful and easy to work with, and her property is well-equipped for large family gatherings. We had 16 people across the two houses with rooms to spare, and loved the easy access to downtown, big kitchens, collection of games, and screened porch especially. Highly recommended!

We held a cousins reunion. 22 of us from all over the country. The two homes were perfect. Sue, owner, was very responsive. Would recommend this property for any large gathering.

Family vacation
Wonderful long weekend in the Berkshires at Susan and Steve's home. We stayed in the back house and enjoyed the large common areas and eat-in kitchen. The home is very well stocked with cooking pots and equipment suitable for large groups, as well as pantry basics like flour, oil, salt, pepper, etc. There are also lots of board games, children's toys (including a giant tub of legos), music/sound equipment and more. The town is 5 minutes walk away as well.

Lovely home in a charming town
Well-appointed home in a quiet neighborhood within a short walk to the Main Street shops and restaurants. The "beach pass" for the lake that was less than 10 minutes away was great for the kids to swim in and had a lot of shade. Owners were flexible and hospitable. Lovely little town with lots to do!

50th Anniversary Weekend in the Berkshires
This is a wonderful place! We rented both parts of the property over Memorial Day weekend for a surprise gathering to celebrate my parents 50th Anniversary.
Sue and Steve are fantastic hosts. Sue called a few days after the reservation (and months before our check-in date) to offer information on local restaurants, bakers, etc., in case we needed it for help with the anniversary planning. She also called the morning of our arrival to see if we might like to have some bicycles ready to get around town. We ran into them while we were packing up as well, and had a lovely chat.
The house is enormous and beautiful. Every bedroom had new mattresses, and all beds are doubles or larger-- making it perfect for all of my aunts and uncles, plus their spouses. The front screen porch was a huge hit with everyone, turning into a morning meetup spot for coffee and planning the days events.
The location is perfect. No traffic, and the shops and restaurants in the "center" of town are a short, easy walk away. At the same time, you are far enough away that things are quiet.
While chatting at the end of our stay, Sue and Steve told us about some of their plans for upgrades and fixes (it is an old house). The house is definitely in great hands. We are looking forward to coming back again soon and seeing the progress.
