If you like to be centrally located in a quiet upscale residential neighborhood between downtown Santa Barbara and UCSB (Goleta), you will love staying in this unit.

A clean and quiet place in a beautiful setting for a Santa Barbara visit.

This is my most popular unit for visiting friends and family in SB.

Property located on 1 1/2 acres in a quiet residential neighborhood on a private drive.

This unit is part of a large home which is closed off to the main house. My living quarters is on the opposite end of the house.

This unit has its own patio entrance that leads out to a tropical landscaped garden with a panoramic distance of UCSB and the ocean.

The bistro set on your patio provides a lovely peaceful setting for morning coffee and light meals or relax and unwind during the evening.

The bedroom is 15'x12' and the kitchenette area is 5'x10', bathroom is 5'x11'.

It has a queen bed and can accommodate up to three people. A twin bed is set up next to the queen bed by taking a chair out to make enough room.

This unit is equipped with mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and hot water kettle. There is no stove or oven. Please do not bring an instant pot, portable burner etc to cook since I do not have a kitchen sink.

This unit's yard is shared with another unit when occupied and my friendly husky.

I have three vacation rentals on this property. Please inquire about my other units if your dates are not available on this unit.

A car is needed to get to the property. Parking space is provided within the property.

This is a very quiet residential neighborhood where there is no public transit close by or any businesses within walking distance.

Tucker's Grove Park and San Antonio Creek Trail is within walking distance.

5 miles from the Santa Barbara Airport.

About 40 min bike ride to UCSB

Please note this is a non smoking unit.

I do not book more than 3 months in advance for holiday weekends because I may need the whole house for family events.

Sorry I cannot accommodate any ESA animals due to safety of my family and the rest of my guests. I have a Siberian Husky who is very prey driven but loves people.

My husband and I had a lovely stay at Chris' property. She was very easy to communicate with. The property was clean and comfortable. The view from our patio was beautiful and peaceful. Lacey - her husky was friendly and well behaved. We will definitely keep this property in mind for future stays!

I’ve stayed at this property before but in a different unit and this stay was as great as the last one. The space is perfect for a simple getaway and central to all of SB! I always enjoy the support and communication from Chris and it feels like a nice home away from home when I am there for work

The property was beautiful. The host communicated with us to make sure we arrived okay and didn't need anything. There were instructions for everything we could have had questions about. There is a sweet husky on the property that would stop by in the evening to get some pets and check in on us. We really enjoyed the peacefulness if the property. Would recommend!!

Quiet, clean, beautiful location, lovely landscaping and garden. Perfect getaway location it you are looking to stay in the Santa Barbara area. Beautiful residential neighborhood, but just minutes away from everything you need; stores, restaurants, gas stations, beach, etc. Highly recommended.

I arranged this stay to "catch my breathe" between packing my home to move and unpacking all my new home in Goleta, CA. I wanted time to rest, some solitude, and yet easy access to resources, including my new home. I also wanted a comfortable well resourced place to stay. This was perfect for my needs; the unit has everything you might hope to find to simply unwind.

Wonderful property, plenty of space for 2 people who either are active and want to take in sites/events, etc. or as just a place to hang out, enjoy the view of UCSB and the Pacific from the private patio. Amenities were good as advertised, and Chris our host was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend this property.

We came to Santa Barbara for my mother-in-law’s memorial. After staying a few days in a big home with family, we retreated to this little gem. The owner met us outside and oriented us. During our 4-night stay, we enjoyed privacy and tranquility in a beautiful setting. We had all the amenities we needed and felt completely comfortable and safe. The best part was our occasional visitor, Lacey, Chris’s friendly husky. If we ever get back to beautiful Santa Barbara, we know where we will stay again!

My husband and I booked this stay to attend a wedding in Santa Barbara and it was perfect. We were quite literally 15-17 minutes from any of the weekend’s wedding festivities and anything we wanted to see for ourselves in SB. It was also wonderful waking up to such a beautiful space in the morning. Would stay here again!

Chris was very hospitable, offering suggestions for hikes, parks and other outdoor activities. She was accommodating with my reservation change and adding another family member for one night. The room had everything we needed and had space enough for us to relax after exploring SB. We loved sitting on the patio to enjoy the beautiful gardens and view and to say hi to Lacey. Additionally, Chris’ place is convenient to everything. We would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful place to stay, and the host is easy to work with and very competent. We have stayed there twice now and will continue to consider it our go-to place for our visits to Santa Barbara.

Chris' place is a little slice of heaven in Santa Barbara. It is exactly as described. The neighborhood is quiet and convenient to all that you'd want to do in the area. The bed is also super comfortable. We had one of our sons join us unexpectedly and he said the twin bed he slept on was comfortable. Having the little patio was like having an extra room--we used it a lot. I would definitely return when in SB.

Chris's property is perfect for a few days or longer in the hills, just west above Santa Barbara. Very peaceful. Lovely greenery and patio.Great views. A car is a necessity to get to good dining, hiking, and the beach. About a 20 minute drive to downtown Santa B. Chris is a great host. Highly recommend this verbo.

This worked perfectly for us! We were in town visiting family and Chris' home was a great place to enjoy quiet evenings and mornings. I LOVED sitting outside on the patio early in the morning enjoying coffee and catching up on emails. Incredibly peaceful. It worked out great! It exceeded our expectations!

Property is secluded and tranquil. Beautiful neighborhood, easy access to 101 freeway and Santa Barbara. Chris, the owner, is very accommodating and on site. Wonderful patio area to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Will definitely stay again.

Located in the hills above Goleta with a magnificent view is this gem created by the amazing Chris. Everything was exactly as described in her listing. We enjoyed our time on the veranda in the evenings and relished in the silence of a beautiful neighborhood. Less than renting a complete house and lots more than a hotel room, we truly enjoyed our stay with a host that cares about the well being of her guests. I hope we can go back again.
