With rolling, English Cotswold countryside surrounding you but also being a stone’s throw away from the city of Oxford and Woodstock it makes the ideal location to explore the area whilst enjoying a luxurious stay.. First Floor:

The perfect romantic getaway, Banksiae is positioned within a wing of this beautifully elegant country house. Conveniently situated close to Woodstock and Blenheim Palace on the edge of the Cotswolds. Nestled in its own botanical haven it is just a stone’s throw away from Bicester Village, Soho Farmhouse and the historic city of Oxford.
This luxurious two bedroom apartment is a real treat as you will be in a unique setting within the grounds of a traditional plant nursery. The interior of this spacious first-floor apartment is simply charming. The owners have thoughtfully blended the original features with modern home comforts. Banksiae is adorned with a lovely mixture of vintage and contemporary furniture including a sumptuous bespoke 7’ 6" master bed for the ultimate in comfort. A leisurely breakfast can be enjoyed in the bay window whilst admiring the rural panoramic views across the Cherwell Valley.
Banksiae is inspired by the climbing rose "Banksiae Lutea", whose sprays of pale lemon blooms festoon the walls of the nursery house each spring. Named after the intrepid explorer SirJoseph Banks who studied in Oxford before setting off on his famous plant hunting voyages of discovery for Kew.
After your own day’s exploration of Oxfordshire’s delightful countryside and attractions you can return to the leafy surroundings of the nursery "Tea Garden." There you can relax and enjoy a delicious slice of handmade cake and a cup or two of English tea whilst planning your next day’s adventure.
However you choose to spend your time at Banksiae, your stay will be sure to be most pleasurable and splendid.
