Nice location, adequate for one night stay
Very expensive, no air conditioning, carpet in bathroom??? A little dated. Breakfast STARTS at 8:30am, which is far too late!

Lovely room, comfortable and very clean. Quiet. I slept really well. Beautiful location.

Staff were all excellent. Super friendly and great service both at check-in, at the bar and in the restaurant.
Location is also beautiful with a choice of pubs in the village.
Rooms need some work. Beds were very uncomfortable, pillows past their best, and two of the bathrooms for the rooms we booked as a group only had baths (with handheld shower) rather than actual shower.
WiFi also pretty poor, particularly in the rooms where it barely reached.

Breakfast was excellent and staff did their best to help us with issues. Only as we were leaving was there someone on duty who had any authority and did listen carefully to feedback.
There were safety issues around the access to the room which was up a wooden staircase outside and lighting was variable so at times, eg when we arrived, we were pretty much in the dark. The bathroom was lovely but had taken too much space from the room which was, frankly, small and difficult to get around. This would have been helped if a couple of shelves of dusty books were removed to give further storage/space.

You only get the chance of one first impression, well done to the youthful face of the Inn, you got the welcome spot-on. Eggcellent! A perfectly cooked, quality ingredients breakfast for the morning after the night before. Brambells toiletries.
No fridge in the room

The breakfast was excellent. It could have only been improved with the addition of baked beans.
I would have liked some sort of tap to be in the loo instead of in the bedroom main area. Also the provision of toothpaste along with the other shower items would have been great.

From the time that we arrived to the time we checked out the staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The room was lovely and fresh milk was delivered and left outside our door early in the morning for our morning cuppa. The food we ate was of very good quality. Will definitely return.
Nothing.

The staff went the extra mile, ensuring a special milestone wedding celebration experience at a well run establishment. We couldn't ask for any better.
JJ, Jane, Milly, Lizzy and many others were very friendly creating treasure box memories never to be forgotten - a huge THANKS 😊

Roll top bath and great food.
No milk until 0730 in the morning so I bought my own. It’s nice to be given fresh milk but I was awake at 0530.

Situation, beer, food - spectacular - room, access, carparking, staff - nothing could have been better on all fronts. Friendly and helpful from the get go, we had an excellent stay which was difficult to fault except for the fact we were not able to avail ourselves of the included breakfast - see below
The only reason we graded The Kingham good value for money rather than superb. Breakfasts at weekend are 8.30 start and there is no option for room only, so we paid for 2 breakfasts we could not benefit from because we were due at a sports event as competitors by 9am on the Saturday and 8am on the Sunday. The staff were great and said that perhaps the chef might come in early by 30 mons on the Sat to try and get us there on tme, but Sunday was unlikely. Offered a light room cold breakfast, but it was better for us to go to the event and buty a hot breakfast there once we had booked in. Sad because the breakfast menu looked ace, and all the food we had there was spectacular, so I think we missed out on something special that we would have enjoyed a lot! Stairs to our room a little narrow and steep with no lift option - no problem for us, but could be difficult for those with loads of luggage or mobility issues.

Being a brit, and not an American, I still object to the 'optional' 12.5% gratuity added to the food and drink bill.

Great location really nice breakfast good service.
Room plus ensuite would benefit from a paint refresh looking tired for premium accommodation.

Amazing food, wonderful staff
Very clean, truly lovely little village. Our room had a bath which pleased me, the wife would liked to have had a shower
The lights went out in the building and I was frightened as we could not see. I was concerned for the wife.
