It was a great place to have a girls weekend

This house was in such a cute neighborhood across from my favorite Walla Walla Park. Every day, we either walked around the park/aviary and sent kids to the playground. Only five minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go in town too!
The house had a great layout for cooking and eating together and sleeping in separate rooms/areas. The outdoor grill and fire pit with patio and porch swing in front are great, accommodating touches. I’d love to come back!

The W on Washington was the perfect place for us to stay as we visited Walla Walla for our friend's wedding. It's close enough to walk downtown and right by the park. The house has everything you need for self-catering, with plenty of places to relax and enjoy.
We'd stay there again!

Overall the property was 4 Star; some updating/refreshing would result in 5 Stars. The location is 5 Star!
However, one of the 4 property owners (Jon) SHOULD NOT be allowed to interact w/renters/customers. When we asked about a “missing” property feature (hot tub) noted on the property listing/description, the guy angrily and loudly screamed at us (we had him on speaker phone), insisting that we mistook his property for another; that we saw “hot tub” on another property listing, not his. We were wrong, he was right ‘cause he owned the property for 6 years and there has never been a hot tub. NOTE: His listing DID HAVE “hot tub” as a feature - confirmed by a 2nd property owner who contacted us to say that she just corrected the listing.
Although I/we did not raise our voice w/Jon, he did not calm down and remained angry, loud, and unprofessional, resulting in my hanging up on him.
Two days later, when I returned home, a 3rd property owner contacted me (after reading the review I left at the property). She and her husband (4th owner) called to apologize. She explained that “Jon was having a bad day” when he spoke w/us; I said “that doesn’t excuse his inappropriate behavior.” I said they needed to identify a more appropriate person to engage w/renters/customers in the future.
To the Property Owners: a bottle of wine or some other complimentary gift would have been a nice way to apologize for the awful interaction.

Had everything we needed for a wonderful wonderful weekend weekend in Walla Walla.
4 kids and 6 adults were comfortable in the charming 1907 craftsman house.
Big backyard for water balloon fun and storing everyone's bikes. Garage and basement are not accessible to guests.
Enjoyed BBQ meals on the large deck. BBQ worked well. Kitchen very well stocked.
Endless entertainment for all ages at Pioneer Park half a block away-- aviary with peacocks and many other exotic birds, Lincoln Creek, playground, pickleball courts, bandstand, BIG trees.
Inflatable queen-size air mattress did have a slow leak. Black vinyl chairs in upstairs sitting room/sun room are exfoliating little black bits of vinyl.
We would be happy staying here again. Thanks for sharing your home.

This house was awesome for my whole family to come and stay for the hot air balloon event! We all especially loved the multiple different areas to hangout/eat/play outside (front porch, back yard, side deck all with great shade from the sun). The park nearby is beautiful with lots to do! Only complaint is the barking dogs next door but that’s not controllable. We hope to stay here again for the balloons another year!

The house is charming! Everything we needed was there, including extra towels and blankets. The beds were comfortable. The large sofa was great to accommodate us while we visited. Instructions for check out were clear. Only one in our group had a hard time with the squeaky floors, but only the first night. After that she slept well. Minor

We enjoyed our stay. It was conveniently located near downtown and next to the park. Nice place.

Great location. Right next door to Pioneer Park and 2-3 minute drive to downtown. Plenty of space inside and out. Only negatives were bad dry rot on back deck and a couple of 5’10” door jams. One of my friends walked into one and end up on the floor. Some padding would be wise.

Had a great time staying in this lovely home. It was perfect for the elder grandparents to stay downstairs, my brother’s family stayed upstairs and I slept on the futon. We enjoyed brief trips to Pioneer Park and events in town—all under 15 minutes commute.
The smoke from wildfires kept us indoors and we enjoyed watching TV, playing board games, cooking in the kitchen and the dining room table was excellent to gather around.

We stayed here during a family reunion that was being held in Walla Walla. There were 10 of us ranging from infant to adult. We all had a good time and enjoyed the house as well as the fun things to do surrounding it. Pioneer Park an the aviary were a real joy to see.

Great house with plenty of space. The outside area was a nice bonus. We enjoyed the convenience of beginning so close to town.

Very run down. Blinds broken/curtains broken. Heater vents falling off walls. Outside furniture dirty. BBQ dirty. Hardly any gas to cook with. Door lock broken. No remote controls to extra tv’s. Kitchen was adequate. Neighbors not nice. More than a mile from downtown. Next to a lovely park though. Very very old home.

There were 3 couples staying at the property for a long weekend. Each couple had plenty of room and our own bathrooms. There was also a great patio we spent the evenings on.

We loved staying at this property! The home was nice and clean, plenty of kitchen hardware, beautiful deck with string lights and propane fire pit, close to downtown. Overall perfect for our group of 8!

The home was next to Pioneer Park, which we love for morning and evening walks with the pups. The house was spacious enough for our family, the owners are very nice. It's a beautiful old house still in need of some updating. The little quirks are the bathrooms are very tight and a bit of an odd layout and the staircase is pretty narrow.

Great weekend stay!
I stayed at the house with my family (4 adults total) and had a wonderful time. The location is fantastic (half a block from the park), the rooms are very spacious and comfortable and a huge deck that we enjoyed our evenings on. Convenient to downtown. The king-size bed was so comfortable, I need to ask the owner what it was!

Great space
Our group had a great stay. We loved the outdoor fireplaces and grill.
If you have a large group, note the 4th bed is a futon, but it works as a bed. There is also an air mattress and many extra blankets/pillows in the laundry room.
The one bathroom just has a curtain, no door so it's a little weird at times, but there are two other bathrooms with doors.
There is a coffee maker, but bring your own coffee! There were seasonings to cook with which was nice!
Overall great location to downtown. Thank you for the stay!

Cute house, great location!
Really Cute house! Easy to arrive and as advertised. Well equipped kitchen. 3 actual bedrooms and then an entertainment room that doubles as a fourth. The backyard is fantastic and the deck area is wonderful to hang out in. Great for a weekend stay with friends. It’s an older house. Would rent again!

Historic home with charming quirks in an amazing location
Well laid out historic home in an amazing location. Four adults, three children, and two dogs all stayed comfortably in this charming home. The open plan of the first floor is perfect for socializing and the location cannot be beat! We loved the proximity to Pioneer Park and downtown.

This is our second stay. The property owners are super attentive. We couldn’t figure out the coffee maker and the next thing we know, they are at the door with a new one plus coffee!! Thank you!!

Great location for families
Visited Walla Walla with my daughters and in-laws. The house was in the perfect location— just across the street from Pioneer Park and short drive to downtown. The house had everything we needed, was clean and had several separate spaces so the adults and kids could have their own areas. Overall, great stay!

Charming house and great location
Our party of four adults and two dogs had a lovely weekend stay here! We especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen (hello, coffee grinder and plenty of wine glasses!), outdoor sitting area and grill. The location was perfect: easy to get to many locations and beautiful park across the street (with a nice looking playground if you were traveling with kids). We'd absolutely stay again!

Great house in a great location!
We had 8 guests and found this rental to be perfect! Lots of downstairs and upstairs space for all our guests to spread out and relax. We cooked one night and really enjoyed all the kitchen and outdoor space. We would definitely book this house again!

Bachelorette Weekend Stay
My friends and I stayed for my bachelorette party weekend and we absolutely loved staying in this house! The yard was a great size for yard games, the rooms were spacious, and there were a variety of games for us to play. Check-in was super easy and communication before our stay was great. We were able to walk downtown for some tastings but mainly enjoyed just hanging out at the house! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Father's Day stay
We enjoyed our trip to Walla Walla for Father's Day weekend! Although the TV in the upstairs bedroom didn't work and almost all blinds were broken or damaged the house was lovely. The close by park was a great escape for the kids as well. Thank you!

Great house and location
We had a wonderful time using the house as a home base for exploring the Walla Walla area. The park next door was a delight, and it was easy to walk downtown, plus a quick bike ride to Lake Bennington. The house was great with multiple areas to hang out, from the front porch in the mornings to the deck and outdoor fire table in the evenings. Thanks!
3.0
Pros: proximity to downtown and Pioneer Park, large open space for dining, large deck with fire pit. Easy communication with the property managers. Plenty of street parking. Cons: upstairs bathroom, specifically shower, will not work if you are tall and is a little unsafe as there is a window that you could fall into as the claw foot tub makes it hard to keep your balance. Not really a 4 bedroom, one is a room with a leather futon. Stairs to get to the 2nd floor are very narrow and a little wonky. House is very noisy/active in the evening, lots of creaking and knocking sounds. If you have lots of hair that takes a while to blow dry, give yourself extra time as you can only use your blow dryer on low due to the age of the home and the wiring I guess.
