A fantastic two night stay

Our room was simply stunning…exceptionally clean with some lovely extra touches and stunning sea view

Thank goodness for the wonderful view, and the comfy bed (although 2 singles pushed/somehow joined together.

Fantastic views. Very comfortable bed.

Continental breakfast only, due to family emergency, so we didn’t get the full experience. Incidentally— 3 days on— we are are STILL waiting for our breakfast refund, as the continental offered wasn’t very inspiring. Why couldn’t one of the 3 women running around putting cream cheese on bagels, and refilling the yogurt have put some eggs and sausages on ?? And PLEASE don’t handle the cheese with your bare fingers, as you did when we were there. REALLY didn’t like our toothbrushes being put (by the cleaner) in a glass in the bathroom/toilet— who wants such a personal item being touched for gods sake?? We left them by the kettle, as that’s where we wanted them. And toothbrushes in the loo are a MASSIVE no for us. Not on at all. Yea cups— not mugs, and with strong tea bags— ohh no no- what Brit wouldn’t like a mug? Mini bar - ludicrous prices. The mountain climb to room7 isn’t for everyone- but no warning anywhere—I just think it’s very lucky to have its 5 stars, tbh.

The property advertised available parking, but this was not provided; we were told to park on the street. The woman at reception was extremely rude and aggressive.. We did not stay

Wonderful stay in beachfront hotel, would highly recommend.

Stylish decor. Lovely hosts who were very accommodating to our vegan diet. the room was ready early and we were allowed access. very clean. Excellent location. I would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend, would stay there again.

Very friendly and attentive owners. Funky decor and very clean. Superb breakfast!

Cold in the evening as radiator off but there are heaters in the room. Open plan bathroom can be awkward.

This is a bit of luxury on the south coast. Very comfortable, great location. Very well equipped and looks great. Breakfast great too - really wide choice and very high quality.

Superb

Ian and her wife are amazing hosts and ready to help any minute. In our case, preparing a amazing early breakfast, and looking for an item I had forgotten in the room, which Ian found and shipped to Italy the very same day. I will definitely make sure to stay here again next time I’m around.

Highly pleased

The staff was very friendly and kind. They have two lovely dogs, which I was highly pleased to pet and have time with them in the common area. They kindly helped us with everything we asked for. (Evening food recommendations, places to see and transportation information etc.) I had English breakfast for my breakfast, and I must say it was phenomenal. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious! The room was so lovely, and the decoration was so tasteful. I enjoyed staying inside even though my vacation's primary purpose was to see the place. I can see that they thought carefully about the needs of their guests. There were all kinds of products and more that you might need in the room. It was a lovely and memorable stay. Thank you for everything.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

Room was extremely clean, bed very comfortable, breakfast was plentifully and delicious , hosts very friendly, would definitely recommend this B&B, if we ever came back to Hastings we would def use again.

Great room, great breakfast, Ian and Bev are great hosts which makes your stay more enjoyable.

Great welcome from hosts Ian and Bev who are always engaging with guests. Over the years new restaurants & bars appear and they offer tips, updates and advice on places to visit, but make no mistake Hastings House serves the best breakfast in Town.

No complaints at all ….wish we could have stayed longer.

The place to stay in Hastings....

Such a lovely B&B and such friendly owners. A great room and decent breakfast. Ian and Beverley were friendly without being over the top and very likeable. Would definitely stay at Hastings House when staying in Hasting in the future. Highly recommend.

Hastings hidden gem

Ian and Beverley are friendly,welcoming and warm hosts. The room was quirkily but tastefully presented, really clean and has a wonderful view of the seafront. Everything was just so. Good range of teas. Shower easy to use. The breakfast from Ian is the best cooked breakfast I have had.
