The location was great, which was one of the four reasons we selected this place. Supermarket, sights, restaurants all within a small radius.
We booked Borgo de Greci for four reasons, of which only the first was met. The four reasons were (1) location -- obviously the hosts couldn't screw this up; (2) an elevator was promised on the website -- when we reached we found there was no elevator, and we almost had a heart attack lugging our heavy bags up two rough flights of stairs; as if that wasn't enough, the bedroom was up yet another steep flight of stairs with the bed almost touching the ceiling, and the bathroom was down another set of stairs; (3) we booked one apartment with two bedrooms since we were two couples traveling together and planned to hang out in the living room -- instead we were given two one-bedroom apartments with tiny living rooms, which ruined our time together; (4) the hosts said there was a washing machine -- when we reached the washing machine was running, and it continued to run for hours; finally we turned it off and found it full of dirty rags with dirty water that would not drain; the manager could not get it fixed, and we could not use it our entire stay. On one day the manager let us use the washing machine in the originally booked apartment. Each cycle took 3+ hours so we could only do two loads, and for the rest we had to use a laundromat. We couldn't wait for our stay to end -- thankfully it was just a few days. When we saw the apartment we had booked, it was beautiful. The manager didn't have an explanation for why we had been kicked out of our original apartment and put into these two hideous apartments. Classic case of bait and switch, highly avoidable.

Great apartment for 2-3 people! Super Spacious, good aircon and amazing location (walked everywhere) Hosts are very helpful, Big thank you to Martine for helping us when we got locked out late at night ! We recommend these apartments
4.3
It’s beautifully decorated and well located for the centre of Florence. Well equipped.
The internal courtyard is a bit mouldy, and you wouldn’t want to use it to sit in or dry clothes, but I’m not sure what they can do about that as it doesn’t get any sunlight. Finding the office to collect the keys is tricky!

the location was excellent and the apartment was very clean
we were unable to use the oven for the first 2 days

Funky antique decor. A large apartment that is perfect for retreating from the chaotic center of Florence. There is a bit of noise at night because the street in front is a pedestrian artery road that moves from one piazza to another. The building is old and gorgeous. 13th century! Romantic and lovely.

Excellent location, close to attractions and eateries. Spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The host Martíne was lovely and we were able to check in earlier than the usual check in time which was greatly appreciated. Lots of steps but this added to our experience. All in all a wonderful experience!!
Everything was great😄

disappointed with single use coffee maker a cafetière would be useful. we were looking forward to some great coffee but it was difficult to make. street was very noisy at night over the weekend

The location was amazing. Access to historic Florence was so easy. Very nice restaurants and bars nearby.
Lovely red wine on offer to purchase at reception. Self check-in works very well.
There was quite alot of noise from other apartments. No sound proofing.

Loved the apartment, fantastic location, excellent facilities.

This was a great location with beautifully decorated apartments.
we were very disappointed that the overflowing toilet in the upstairs room wasn’t fixed. it caused a sleepless night for the people in that room and the room beneath. It’s not cheap accommodation and soured the experience for us. we were not offered any compensation for this.
4.3
Great location for getting to everything, yet in a quiet street Clean, spacious apartment.
To begin with was a little disappointed the apartment was not actually in Boŕgo de Greci as I had chosen it on its location. However it was just around the corner so was ok in the end.

This property is located in the heart of old Florence, close to all the main historical sights. The apartment has everything you need The bonus: we were a short walk to the Xmas markets

- It was very easy to explore Firenze from this location.
- Easy to collect keys, check in and check out.
- There were several rooms, we appreciated bigger space.
- Equiped kitchen.
- Lady at the reception desk was friendly and polite, spoke English perfectly, communication was good.
- We were able to store our luggage for a few hours at the reception desk before our flight back.
- Most importantly not very clean, certainly not as clean as we would expect, including bathroom, appliances, surfaces. The place has been cleaned only superficially.
- Dusty, allergies got triggered.
- Whole apartment smelled super musty from the moment we walked in. We had to air it for 1-2 days!
- Noisy at night. Street repairs since 6 am outside. We could hear every slight sound through the old window, practically no difference weather it was closed or opened. Window in the bedroom should be replaced or minimally soundproofed.
- We had to take out trash ourselves before check out under a penalty. This is strange and inconvenient when you have to carry it through streets with suitcases. Shouldn't this be a job for cleaning service? There were strict recycling policies but no extra trash bags or separate bins were provided.
- No coffee machine. There was an old moka pot but it was wet and looked/smelled funny.
- Dark, lights had to be turned on even during sunny day.
It could have been a lovely place, but very little effort and thought went into making guests feel welcome and comfortable, the management posted pretty pictures and just checked off the minimum to provide a tourist accommodation. All we really care about in a place we chose for our stay is 1. a quiet bedroom with comfy bed (to get a good night sleep) and 2. clean bathroom with good shower. We did not find it here. Furthermore we've been hosted at many places throughout Italy and are used to more welcoming, well-kept spaces. There are simple things that could have been done to improve comfort despite the location in old building in the historical center. Besides keeping the place clean and fresh so far we were always welcomed at least with a bottle of water and inexpensive local wine as a nice gesture. Here the first thing we found were multiple (!) printouts with trash rules including warnings of monetary penalties and a list of wines that we were offered to buy. This says a lot.

We loved our stay here and would definitely like to come back again for another visit. Location was terrific!!! Check in was super easy and Martine was wonderful! We stayed in the 2 BR apartment and it was quite lovely with a great amount of space, comfortable furniture/beds and also had working A/C and washing machine which came in handy.
The street noise was quite loud during our stay and it was challenging to sleep in the front BR - I would suggest packing earplugs. The tile floors can be hard on your feet and there are no rugs in the apartment at all so pack comfortable slippers and shoes. Only other minor item was the bottom sheets don’t fit too well and kept coming untucked - a fitted bottom sheet would take care of this issue.

Cleanliness, proximity to the city center,
equipment, comfort of the beds, professional check-in process, nice staff.
The management of the garbage selection and distribution.

a historic property with modern amenities.

Great overall plan of apartment. Amazing ceilling lights. Spacious and stylish wardrobe from the era. King size bed
4.3
comfy bed, good location, very large room with great kitchenette, high ceilings and nice windows.
sound proofing is an issue but with earplugs I slept perfectly. I found it odd that the owner is strict that you have to empty all the bins and rubbish before you checkout. even if they aren’t full you still have to walk a few blocks to take the trash out. when you’re checking out it’s a little cumbersome to do this. when I arrived I asked for assistance with the aircon and no reply. I also asked what level the room was on, no reply. the only time you get messages is to remind you about taking out the rubbish or paying the tax. the aircon in the aircon in the room is very noisy, had to sleep with it turned off
