Awesome location, B&B host Bre & Joey provide an exceptional experience for my family. room as clean, well maintained and comfortable. Provided great information on the area and helped us identify the activities in the area that where open during the "off season" when we visited. Breakfast's where fantastic!! Bre made adjustments on the fly to accommodate some dietary restrictions of my family.

The hosts of Bear Lake Lodge, Pat & Dennis, were very welcoming. It was a pleasure to chat with them and learn about their experiences of living Alaska.
Location was fabulous. Beautiful views and close to Seward.
TV in the kitchen area but we used our laptop to watch the football game.

This BnB had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts and innkeeper were extremely thoughtful and clearly take a lot of pride in making the experience great. The breakfasts were very good and we liked the self-directed nature of the stay, which allowed us to do things on our own schedule. One of the highlights of our stay was the sunset paddle around Bear Lake in the provided canoe. We can’t recommend it enough!

Location is amazing. It is about 6 miles outside of Seward and we did not have a rental car. (So taxi each way is $25 plus tip. that's just fyi.) Came in on the Alaskan Railroad which is perfect! You arrive in Seward too early for check in, but Josh, with Orang Bike Delivery which is a company that stores your luggage, (right across from the train station) is gracious and kind, just like the owners of Bear Lake.
Pat, Dennis and Margie are just fabulous hosts! So kind and giving and we could not have asked for a better spot while in Seaward! Breakfast was yummy! We went out on Bear lake with their canoes and it was certainly a fun time. They are fun people! Seaward was one of our favorite spots on the trip. The restaurant right across the street from the Sea Life Center with the outside patio has the best food!

The owners are wonderful...I wish we had more time to spend with them. Made you feel welcome and at ease. We would definitely encourage others to stay there! Peaceful and relaxing location.
Only issue is that you do need a car to get to town but that is the only negative.

Bear Lake Lodge was a wonderful place to stay! Our room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. Margie, Dennis and Pat made us feel very welcomed and had lots of great restaurant and hiking ideas. It was a pleasure to talk with each of them. They made us feel right at home. The breakfast and ice cream bars were delicious and their property is beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Seward!

Everyone was very welcoming and the home was immaculate. We were not only welcomed with a kind smile but Ice Cream! We booked this last minute after a day trip from Anchorage and this was an pleasant experience all around.
Loved all of it!

Very relaxing property, we wished we had stayed longer to enjoy the lake and use the complimentary kayaks!
The property is on a communal water heater that was out the day we arrived... pretty big bummer when you’ve come in from a long day of hiking but it was fixed the next day and the owners were very apologetic.

only stayed one night, learning all the house rules doesn’t go very far in that case, but I could imagine staying longer would be very pleasant
bathroom down the hall, albeit exclusive to our room, and no “seconds” of that delicious gravy biscuit!

Location and scenery is beautiful. Host were very kind and helpful.
We were unlucky and the lake had not thawed yet completely in early May. They say it is unusual for this time of year and that usually the lake it open by now.

Honestly one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed. Could not recommend more. Best part is the owners and staff, followed by the exceptional location on a mostly private late. This place is absolutely stunning in all ways.
