We will book again, highly recommend!

From the minute we walked in, the staff were so helpful. We hadn't stayed in the area before, so we needed lots of help with parking, local facilities, bus routes, etc, and the receptionists went above and beyond to help us with all our queries. The room was wonderful. It had been made up to perfection and it was so nice to have a twin room that had double beds and not singles. The fact we also got to watch crew preparing the football ground for the Take That concert was also a little extra bonus for us too! We also used the bar facilities for food and drink and was very pleased with the service and quality of food too.

The only issue I had while staying was I tried using the qr code on the mirror to order room service and it wouldn't load up, saying I needed a stronger connection (I was using the free hotel WiFi), so we went down to the bar for food instead.

Great value for the price and well appointed.

Rooms were comfortable and well laid out. The bar and restaurant were very pleasant. I was happy to be there.

There was a Take That concert being laid out on the football pitch and as I had a room overlooking the ground I could hear a lot of banging. But this stopped at a relatively convenient time.

Bathroom had some flower petals left on the side so the cleaning was not as good as it might have been , breakfast was basic with no vegetarian/vegan options for the hot food ( Last time we stayed they had vegetarian sausages this may have been because of the ongoing refit that was in progress , expensive price for the choice available

Convenient comfortable hotel.

Convenient for station and meeting at football club. Liked the view of the football pitch. Bedroom comfortable and clean. Big mirrors. Staff very helpful at giving me a quiet room on a high floor but only moved me to overlook the pitch rather than the road when I asked. Good toiletries in the rooms in the 6th floor.

Refurbishments going on so bar small. Breakfast ok but not great. Bacon soggy. Had to ask for fried eggs. No tomatoes. Air conditioning was noisy at night even after switching it off.

Everything was very satisfactory and the staff made us very welcome.

The location was convenient for the station, local retail outlets and the availability of taxis was generally good. We were particularly impressed with the bar and restaurant service and the choice of breakfasts, with an excellent self-service system. Another point, when we had visitors, the hotel made a parking space available and happily served tea for us all. Would definitely stay here again, thank you!

We would have liked a fridge in the bedroom.
