I loved the room, which was very comfortable, though the tub could have used a bar for helping people to get into and out of it. I loved the coffee in the room and the sofa, the desk, the whole set up was roomy, very cozy and stylish. I was very pleased.
The breakfast was quite good but I was worried about the waitress who seemed to me to be coughing too much for someone serving food. But her manager should have sent her home.

Hotel with character. Comfortable and nicely located close to city centre.
Although the quirky decor gives character it is not always practical. Eg. Lack of usable surfaces in bedroom makes it awkward. Fashionable kettle in room does not fit under basin tap so filling has to be conducted via a water glass and transferring from tap. Not a huge problem but it feels like the interior designer never stayed at their creation and us residents are faced with a series of unnecessary challenges.

The property is so well situated and service was excellent

The location, parking and friendly staff
Bed was too soft, Kettle etc was too high to be safe, Bathroom had no shelf, and if you were having a bath you could not reach the bath/shower gel shampoo etc. The room was a bit dark and cramped. The restaurant had no simple meals

Nice feel to the place, staff friendly, local to the city centre!
No lift, so be prepared to carry your own luggage upstairs. I couldn't open my windows so it got quite stuffy in the room. Dogs staying, not for me I'm afraid. Bit grubby round the edges!

always had a great experience at this hotel , stayed there numerous times, lovely decoration and style . Breakfast is always tasty. bar area very nice.
room 17 had very poor wifi reception which was annoying and the bedside lamps are low down and dim so that you could not read by them meaning you had to have the main light on . not good when you reading whist in bed.

Location
Room was on a stairwell, really noisy. Room had the cheapest mattress & pillows, so didn't sleep a wink. Plumbing was awful as I could hear someone urinating in the room next door.
