Gutes Hotel für einen Stopover auf andere Azoreninseln

Das Hotel liegt fußläufig zum Stadtzentrum und zum Hafen mit vielen Restaurants. Gute Erreichbarkeit vom Flughafen (ca. 10 Min., Taxi einfach 12 Euro). Schöner Außenpool, Poolhandtücher gegen Kaution. Unkomplizierter Check-in/-out, wir konnten 2 Stunden früher ins Zimmer, dieses sauber mit Balkon und Meerblick.

Trotz guter Auswahl hat mich das Frühstück nicht überzeugt (Frühstücksraum zu kalt, Säfte verwässert, Fertiggebäck...). Zu wenig Liegen am Pool, Hallenbad schon in die Jahre gekommen.

Sao Miguel is a beautiful island and hotel Antilla gave us a good base to work from

location of the hotel great to get out of town by car quickly - we did daily tours to different parts of the island 20 min walk into the historic centre of town and restaurants within 10 min of the hotel pressure of the water in the shower was great breakfast buffet had good choice except on fresh fruit and fresh juices - very good quality yoghurt lovely to have a restaurant on site the spa facility , indoor pool and outdoor pool great for relaxing after a busy day of site seeing

Hotel asks everyone to re use towels but not enough space to hang them - miss more towel rails the fresh fruit at breakfast came from a fridge and was not seasonal. cut fruit were orange slices the first day and thereafter everyday melon - got very boring after 4 days- why no pineapple, banana , mango etc which we saw plenty of at the markets all fruit juice were nectars - no fresh juice at all bar ran out of nibblies on 3rd day there-no replenishment of out of stock items

stress wake up

Family room , 2 floors, aged but comfortable

We stayed one night, 4 persons. When arrived we asked to book a taxi at 4.40 am to go to the airport. It takes approximately 15 minutes by car. We asked twice the confirmation, just to be sure. In the morning the taxi did not arrive. They were not able to confirm if someone else was coming. I think they initially called directly a taxi they knew, and then it didn't show up. At the end a taxi arrived at 5.10 and run at high speed since he understood the situation.We arrived late at the airport and the chek in for baggages was already closed. We took the plane only with the support of the cabin crew, paying more to carry additional hand baggages. We risked to lose the plane for this. Horrible experience. I understand the support in booking a taxi is not the main objective of the hotel, but nevertheless it was not adequate.

Worth a visit friendly staff good location

Great property with a decent view over the sea large apartment nice balcony

Pool area was a little small so not enough sun beds also the usual types left towels on sun beds and disappeared for ages staff really need to remove these Trivial I know but the gardener cut the grass outside the rooms late afternoon when we were trying to relax it would have been better if this was done in the mid morning when most people are out

No kettle or coffee making options in the room. Breakfast costs 10€ and it is mediocre at best.

the parking was very tuff and unable to change bedding due to allergy

balcony and kitchen

staff at the beginning was rude after being asked a question! Daughter broke out in hives and they were unable to accommodate the bedding without detergent. Pool closes at 10pm

we have room c/w balcony very nice and quiet pools, sauna etc. very clean lot of restaurants and bars in this area airbus close to hotel

no cattle to make tea or coffee in the middle of the night (we are from Canada, so we have -4 hours time difference) room pretty small

I really enjoyed it and I recommend.

Room was clean, breakfast was good with many things to choose, great fruits. Parking so close to hotel was very helpful.

If you stay lomger then week breafast might become boring as there are many things but mostly the same every day. One day there was too much chlorine in jacuzzi. Apart from that, everything was great.

Room and balcony were fantastic.

Maybe a little tip on how to get there as GPS leads you through a very rough road. Also the parking is a bit narrow to get in and out but I don't think they can improve that much.

Perfect for a trip to Sao Miguel!

Everything! Staff was amazing, extremely nice and helpful. Location was perfect, minutes away from town on foot. Amenities were great, everything one would need.

It was just ok. I had expected something better.

lovely room, great size. nice staff, very helpful.

the indoor swimming pool seemed like it needed some fresh water in it, and it wasn’t all that warm. the sauna and steam room were far too cool to be effective. the changing room for the sauna/steam/indoor pool had a single door that opened out onto the corridor, so if you were undressed and someone came in then everyone could see you through the door. same for the ladies.

good option for a rainy stay in ponta delgada

-nice appartment in walking distance to center -indoor pool for the children, nice outdoorpool and area with bar/cafe

-there was a light smell of sewage outside why we couldnt sleep with an open balcony door (we had room 505) -the appartment has a little kitchen which was nice as our kids woke up early due to the changed time zone. breakfest in hotel was served from 7.30 which was a little late after we always woke up at 6. The cleaning staff did not clean the kitchen which is ok (which in some hotels they do), but then they should at least provide dishwashing liquid and a sponge set for guests to do it themthelves- there are no supermarkets really close nearby and you cannot expect people to buy that for a one or two nights stay. it therefore looked a bit like ‘you have a kitchen so if you want to use it instead of using our restaurant, get cleaning utensils yourself’

It was my first time in The Azores and hopefully looking forward to a return visit

The breakfast was well worth it and the staff was very friendly. Clean and the rooms were great. The location was great but I personally had difficulty finding it but after I did it was all good. It was nice to be able get a towel and shower in the change room when I arrived. Bonus for that.

Not sure why you have to wear a hair net to go swimming in the inside pool but not the outside so I didn't actually go.

Excellent hotel - we will return.

We arrived at 10am from the US very tired and had to wait until 3pm to get our room. We knew about this ahead of time and used the beautiful outdoor pool to kill time.

I paid over 300 euros per night... was not worth it!

Staff was very friendly

Hotel is runned down, I walked in my room and found it to have beat up furniture lacking a fresh clean feeling .. For over 300 Euros per night, I expected better.. It needs to be remodeld.

Superb

Good location, about 10 minutes on foot to the center with restaurants, shops, etc. The room was clean and most nights very quiet. It was nice that our room had a balcony also.

The beds could be more comfortable. Also, the hotel has private parking but for a huge hotel there were maybe 20 spots total and some days we had to park on the street. It seems deceiving to me to advertise private parking when only a small fraction of guests can actually use it.
