Very good experience

Staff was super friendly and helpful, they solved all the problems very fast. Location is amazing, you can literally walk to any place. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Strongly recommended

Great place, helpful informed staff.

Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Location was excellent.

Only minor issue was that the shower was quite small.

Great location and great staff!

We enjoyed our stay; the reception staff was wonderful and accommodated all our needs. We booked it because of the location and enjoyed it because of the nice people who work here. It was great to get breakfast as well.

The room is small compared to US hotel rooms and thankfully we are not tall, so beds worked for us. I traveled in Europe before so it was not an issue for me.

einfacheres sauberes Hotel in schönem Stadtviertel

das Hotel Grifo liegt in einem sehr schönen Stadtteil, man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erkunden; das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit,

jedoch hatte unser Zimmer ein paar kleinere Mängel: die Dusche war winzig und sehr alt; die Klappläden am Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen, sodass wir leider kein Tageslicht hatten

Exceptional

The breakfast was lovely, buffet style fresh and plenty of variety. The staff were friendly and very welcoming and helpful. Alan was exceptional and had amazing knowledge of Rome. I would highly recommend Hotel Grifo for the exceptional staff, the food and excellent location.

Exceptional

The property was beautiful and right down the road from the Colosseum. Most attractions were within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The Grifo is a boutique hotel in a good location. The 3.5 to 4.0 is accurate.

It was interesting. We were separate from the hotel but had a secure door to enter into the building. We didn’t have a view but window opened to apartments across from us. Made me feel a little like I was living in Rome listening to my neighbors talk, eat, etc. We were 7 minutes walk from colosseum which was very convenient. A lot of places to eat around the hotel. Even a little grocery. The front office staff were very helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Nice espresso machine, cereal, juice, pastries, supplied and fruit to buy.

Wish there were washcloths provided and shampoo and conditioner. No safe in the room, but the room was in a very secure place.

If you have a limited budget, this is a good option. Otherwise, I recommend spending a little more and staying at a nice

Loved the location and the neighborhood. Also really liked the staff, very friendly and hospitable.

The room was tiny and not very nice. The bathroom was tiny. I’m small and couldn’t even fit in the shower.

Comfortable, great breakfast, great coffee, GREAT staff!

The breakfast was amazing, the staff were so nice, patient and helpful, and it was in such a great location, super easy to walk to every attraction. The room was clean, the beds were very comfy, and again, the staff was incredible.

The room was a tad small for three of us. But for two people it would be perfect!

Stay for Bruce Springsteen concert

Everything. The staff are great, Ava, Maria & Alan along with the other staff are all great, will give you great tips on the local area resturants, attractions etc There is a great cocktail & pizza restaurant across the road, along with numerous restaurants in the street *****

Not a luxury hotel, but perfect value for money in the center of Rome.

The price/value ratio of the accommodation is perfect. The staff is a very positive experience. Two beautiful angels at the reception are very helpful. I was able to speak German with the night receptionist, which was easier for me. The breakfast is simple but great. The "Italian mamma" who serves breakfast pays attention to everything. The morning receptionist helps with breakfast and knows the answer to any question, she is very helpful. The room is simple and clean. The bed was perfect for me. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is within walking distance.

I was in the hotel on a short trip, I didn't have high expectations. The hotel is not a luxury hotel, so mistakes are compensated by the helpfulness of the staff.

Great hotel in central location!

The hotel was in a fabulous location with many attractions near by. There were lots of really lovely places to eat and drink at reasonable prices and although the hotel is in a very central location, it was peaceful in the evening. The staff could not do enough to help us and go the extra mile. I would like to give a personal thanks to Eva who gave us some really great advice for Rome but was just as helpful with our next destination Florence. She messaged over some lovely places to visit and eat on the day we left. Really comfortable beds and good breakfast to set you up for the day.

There wasn't anything we didn't like! I would point out that the rooms are on the smaller side and my husband, being 6ft 3, found the shower pretty small but it really wasn't a problem. We were out for the majority of the day and only really in the room to sleep!

cleanliness, really helpful and friendly staff, simple yet good breakfast, coffee was good, great location yet quiet neighbourhood with lovely eateries close by, air conditioning worked great, as did wifi. The windows open for fresh air.

the shower was really tiny, there’s no fridge in room, it would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. In saying this, it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again.
