Lovely stay in Vieste

- great location with a great view in a peaceful area - very clean and neat apartment and well maintained surroundings - easy to find and to reach by car - the beach is at only 20/25 minutes on foot - Giovanna is a really friendly lady

If it was possible to give a rating higher then a 10 I would have given it!

Giovanna is an amazing host and she and her team do absolutely everything to make you feel at home and have an amazing stay. Her son Francesco has a boat so you can go on an amazing boat tour around the bays and caves of the Vieste coastline (highly recommended) and her friendly husband Ennio makes some great homemade wine. Also would like to mention Giada who was super friendly and gave great tips of things to do and see. Last but not least great chalets. nice beds and amazing breakfast!

A wonderful stay with Giovanna, Ennio, Francesco, Giada. The hospitality was exceptional 10/10

Our family of 5 adults enjoyed everything about our 5 nights at Maresol. Giovanna, Ennio, Francesco and Giada went above and beyond all expectations providing suggestions for dining, sightseeing, shopping and everything else we needed. We tried them all and loved each and every one. The property is meticulously clean and is attended constantly as evidenced in gardeners, handymen and cleaning staff present each day. Attention to detail was exemplary. The rooms are comfortable and each room has an outdoor sitting/dining area to enjoy the quietness, views and weather as well as communal areas with more outdoor seating, tables and sun lounges. It is a short drive from Vieste centre and the beach with lovely views out to the ocean. The serenity of the property was enjoyed as was the spa after sightseeing all day. The breakfast available is a wonderful way to start the day, always fresh and a large selection to choose from including fresh cakes made by Giovanna herself. Thank you for our wonderful stay and we would love to come back one day and cannot recommend Maresol enough to others visiting the region.

A gem with views in Vieste

We started our Puglia trip with a 4 night stay in Vieste at the Marisol. The location was perfect in the Gargano region away from the hustle and bustle of town yet only a short drive away. The property has great views over the hills and down to the sea and there is also a fantastic restaurant close by Chalet Degli Ulivi just the best pizza and lovely ambience. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable with 2 outside areas a balcony facing the sea and a terrace with a table and seating to the entrance. The kitchen though small is functional and is well equipped Joanna is a fantastic host very welcoming, friendly and helpful giving us great tips for restaurants and beaches. We had a fantastic boat trip with her son Francesco just 7 people. It was suppose to be 3 hours long but was definitely a lot longer. We travelled a long way up the coast entering caves and had 2 swim stops. We also learnt a lot about the area and myths from Francesco and even though we were the only English on the boat with Italians we didn’t get left out and he would always take time to talk to us. This trip is a must and great value. We loved our stay here in fact we would have liked to stay longer at the Maresol and in Vieste. Would definitely return if in the area.

Holiday with a view.

The appartment is very functional even the kitchen is rather small. Nice bed and a fine bathroom. We had a beautiful view - the sunrise - from the balcony. The owners, Giovanna and her husband, are so very kind and helpful. We had a punkture of our car and they arranged a repair garage in no time. Residence Maresol is certainly a place we would come back to.

The kitchen is very narrow.

Beautiful resort, very clean, great view and with everything you need.

We loved staying at Maresol. It felt like a perfect resort for our honeymoon. The views from the hotel were amazing and the hotel area has such a cute look with a lot of plants everywhere. The host was very lovely and helpful. She helped us with what we should do and see in Vieste. She suggested a fantastic restaurant and we had the best meal and service. She also directed us to a lovely beach. We had a kitchen and terrace with a great view. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property will wonderful owner/ operators close to the beautiful historic town of Vieste

Giovanna and her husband are so friendly and helpful. The terrace has such an amazing view. Great for wine before dinner, as well as the wonderful breakfast😊. Would love to return. Grazie Giovanna for making this a special stay during our Italy trip.

Only minor inconvenience was the small shower.

Fabulous

The accomodation is very clean and looked after. Beautiful view and very friendly and helpful owner.

If you don’t mind the noise made by cows and chicken and birds very early in the morning and most nights it’s a good place to stay.

Very good

The view and the amazing boat tour from Francesco. People are super friendly amd welcoming.

The apartment itself did not a view from inside. The kitchen is functional for coffee but not for cooking.

Amazing, the perfect place to stay

Maresol was the perfect place to stay! Giovanna, her husband and their sind Francesco were really nice and welcoming ! We had a beautiful seaview and enjoyed to sit on our terrace! We can absolutely recommend the boat trip with Francesco! Don't book a boat trip at the harbour, you can book this trip directly at m Maresol. It was an amazing excursion. Thanks for making our stay in Vieste so special!

Exceptional

The Residence Mareasol is nice accomodation on the hill, close to the beach. It is nice if you have your own transport. Very outgoing and helpful staf, good free wifi, nice view, nice free parking!

Beautiful place

We had a very nice stay. The location is really beautiful with nice views. The house was simple and basic but comfortable. Giovanna was really welcoming and kind, giving us very useful information!

The kitchen could be equipped a bit better, the living room could be decorated a bit cozier.

Very nice apartment with a beautiful view

Clean, nice view from the top of the mountain, very friendly staff. Would totally recommend it and would like to come back one day.

Better than Amalfi Coast!

Giovanna and her husband are amazing! Super friendly and gave me great tips to walk around! This part of Italy is amazing and still wild! Worth to come….besides I enjoyed much more than Amalfi Coast!

Great host and views. Lovely apartment.

Giovanna was a great host. She was super friendly and took time to talk us through the area and recommend beaches and things to do. The apartment was well equipped and the views were great.

The location is good if you drive to the town and parking is easy there but if you decide to walk down for dinner and drinks (about 35 min) then it is incredibly steep and dark on the way back.
