Food was lovely, waiting staff friendly, help yourself buffet breakfast and dinner
Some off the staff in the cafe was very rude, all I asked was to put on the tv too watch the football, she said its not my job to do that, then to put a dampner on things, 1 asked for the 5 buds in the bucket of ice, she took the budweiser bottles off the shelf, NOT the fridge plus you was lucky to be given 10 pieces of ice, as the bucket was meant to be filled halfway to chill the bottles not to have them luke warm, not impressed

We liked the location as it was quiet.
Breakfast was lovely.
There was everything you wanted to set you up for the day.
The hotel was nice and clean, which is a big thing for me as I would normally walk out if it wasn't.
There's entertainment on although we didn't attend as we were out.
Room was ok but we kept hitting the lights above the bed when we sat up lol
I would visit again, no worries
If I had to be picky, it would be that the television is way too small, so I would look to renew this as we genuinely struggled to view anything on it.
(I know we weren't there to be watching tv, but when we were chilling at night, then a larger Tv would be so much better even just a 32inch as I'm sure the one we had was one of thee smallest I've seen in a lot of years.

Our stay at the Cliffs was very nice and the food was excellent.
The only negative was we couldn't put the radiators on in the room, and we had to get under the bed covers to stay warm.

We love the hotel with facilities for our young grandchildren.
Little disappointed about the pool really cold .
The kids club girls were amazing new team very good with the children.
Room 226 the funnel for kitchen starts up at 6.30 .
Swimming pool cold .

Breakfast there was plenty of choice and very well presented, dinner was the same plenty of choice again with starters, main menu and brilliant choice of sweets and lovely displayed. Waiters were pleasant and helpful.
There was nothing we could say that we didn’t like there was a lovely display of food on breakfast and dinner all fresh and plenty to choice from. There was a nice menu in the snack bar and again lovely food

THE CHILDREN LOVED THE BUFFET SERVICE - DIDN'T REQUIRE THE MAIN MEAL
SWIMMING FACILITIES WERE VERY GOOD
ROOM WAS CLEAN
STAFF FRIENDLY
EXCELLANT BREAKFAST BUFFET
THE BEDROOM WAS TOO COMPACT , AND VERY HOT - THE WINDOW ONLY OPENED ONE INCH
HAD TO USE THE FAN PROVIDED - BUT THE NOISE SPOILED SLEEP
I ASKED FOR A THE WINE WAITER TWICE, BUT BY THE TIME HE ARRIVED I HAD FINISHED MY MEAL

Very clean and welcoming.Staff are very helpful and pleasant. The cafe bar serves a variety of delicious food at reasonable prices.Great entertainment, singers and comedians, plus Bingo.
Location is a bit far out,but bus and tram stop is right outside of hotel and run frequently.

breakfast is always good at the cliffs and the dinner was fine . the room neat and clean
the wall near the window had some water damage that had stained the wallpaper down one side ,probably the drainpipe that runs directly outside that wall .

The food was excellent.
We had noisy guests staying above us and I informed the manager. He moved us to a new room in the end as we could not get any sleep
4.1
The overall facilities
The evening meal costing £25 each was poor
The beds were soft and therefore not comfortable
There was insufficiant parking

We loved the leisure facilities and the food was always fantastic. Great location the only thing that let it down was the rooms they badly need freshened up. Our first room was awful so small and run down but the second room was much better
4.1
entertainment and pool was lovely
room was very dated, mould above head on the walls, tiles broken on the bathroom

Pool area good for kids. Breakfast really nice. Staff very polite. Good facilities for kids. Games room great for older kids and clubs for younger ones.
Felt kids entertainment at night was just a bit too late.
We're going to eat in restaurant one night, but reception staff and staff in bar area both couldn't tell us price for children. Was told we had to wait till restaurant staff came in at 6pm to find out prices. Ended up eating out.
A bigger selection of beers.
Roof Tiles in pool area need sorting.
Although these are small negatives, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Amazing staff, very clean rooms and public areas.
fabulous food and great choice. Waiting on staff were outstanding. Nothing was too much.
Kids loved the disco, kids club and swimming.
We were not in a modern room but seen most rooms are being done up. Hopefully all will be done soon.
Bed was very uncomfortable, was like sleeping on the base board. Springs had gone.
Kids running around the whole hotel bar area, room corridors, dining room playing in the lifts.!
The parents in the bar drinking and not giving a sh!t....
Security didn't say a thing.
Children could attend kids club and leave to go back to their grown ups at anytime, however....
The main door to the hotel were easy to access and children could leave/escape/be taken! At any time.
Big safeguarding issues for me!

The restaurant staff were amazing and really attentive. Rooms were clean and well laid out.
Very little to complain about, we only had 2 towels for 3 days and 2 people and there was no iron in the room; however, after speaking with reception these things were rectified quickly.
There was also no menu to the puddings which I found odd. It would have been handy to know what each cake/dessert was before trying it.

Draughty window with gale force winds
4.1
It was warm and clean.
Nothing was too much trouble.
The main menu was fantastic all the food was great. Got the car on the carpark but was blocked in with other cars, the guy that moved the cars was brilliant, we were out in no time at all.
It's not a adult's only so I find children running around till 12AM abit sad The entertainment had to cope with children too . Great for a family hotel
