Find somewhere else !

Clean . We needed to be near Killarney.

Very poor breakfast. No real vegetarian options . No veggie sausages , no mushrooms. Scrambled eggs completely disgusting. Lumps of white stirred into a bowl and then probably microwaved and turned out like a mound of sticky rice . With a similar texture. Inedible and revolting. Soda bread was stale and tasted off. €150 was about double what it was worth. No fan in bathroom. Staff were friendly and efficient. That is the only good thing I can say.

Overall it was very nice and I would recommend it.

The rooms were spacious and very clean.

The carpet made it a little difficult for ny breathing. But ANY carpet does that .. it was still a lovely establishment and the breakfast was incredible

A comfortable, creative haven for any kind of traveller.

The property was immaculate with gorgeous surroundings, flowers in bloom everywhere. The room had everything we needed, was clean, cozy and comfortable. The common areas and the wonderful sayings on the walls made it feel like an artists sanctuary and I’m an artist!

It’s out of town, just a short cab ride, but the road to town is not walkable. It wasn’t far, I wish there was a sidewalk or a trail.

Good value for money

Room was large and clean, quiet at night so was easy to sleep. Breakfast was great and staff were friendly. Easy 10min drive to city centre.

Beds/pillows were a bit old and uncomfortable.

Great place we definitely recommend, especially he breakfast and the house itself is worth a visit!

The country house was close to Killarny (5 minutes by car to an easily reachable parking spot) and the house itself looks amazing and also the interior is quite stunning. We had a large and nice room with a really comfortable bed, but my husband is rather tall so it was a bit too short for him. The breakfast was amazing and the only time everything was orderer from a breakfast menu with great choices. Also our host Alice was very nice and helpful to make our stay as pleasant was possible.

Our shower could not be closed properly as the mechanism to move the shower doors was broken.

I was expecting more after reading the reviews and paying 150 euros for a night to be honest. Staff was nice but the building is very old-fashioned, needs an upgrade. Breakfast was low quality.

Homely, Welcoming Stay in Kathleens

Excellent, homely, scenic, clean and comfortable. We were down for a funeral and my partner was able to come down last minute unexpectedly but I was still only charged the single rate, we just had to pay for the extra breakfast which I thought was so nice of the Manager and eased my already tight budget. Location was perfect as my family live in The Firies and funeral etc was there also. Bed was lovely and comfortable for the little time I got to spend in it.

I don't like to take from all of the many good points of this hotel but I would have liked a barista coffee, its just something I'm used to having with my breakfast and I'm unable to drink instant.

Modern comfortable property - poor breakfast and lack of hot water let it down. Overpriced too

The house had lots of parking and an accessible space and ramp for entry. The room was very modern and beds very comfortable with a nice large TV.

When we arrived at the property, there was nobody there. A sign in the front porch gave a phone number and name to ring and the lady Lin arrived 10 minutes later. My partner wanted a shower but the water was freezing cold and never heated up. For his breakfast also, he said the rashers tasted like "cardboard" and his poached egg was actually hard boiled.

Great value for money. You will be lucky to get accommodation there.

The staff are fantastic. They are friendly and combine politeness with a delightful informality. The breakfasts are wonderful with a good choice of food. There is a sitting room with an excellent library of great literature. Plenty of well laid out parking space.

Cant think of anything not to like except that my stay was too short to enjoy the books in the library.

Welcoming, friendly management and team who made us feel relaxed and would help if we needed anything. The rooms were relaxing, well equipped and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and there was a great selection of fresh produce to choose from.

We had a great time, the B&B was so charming and we loved the quietness of the location.

We loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness of the innkeeper, Alice, and her staff.

We were disappointed that Killarney didn’t have a public transit system like the other cities we visited but it wasn’t a big deal at all.

Breakfast was fine dining room spotless staff the same and pleasant

The bed was a 4th flat very uncomfortable it need to be scrapped when paying 150€ per night at least we should have is a comfortable bed The mattress is so flat and old the springs were digging into my side

the most gorgeous property and the kindest most gracious and accommodating host. thank you for everything. Your house was something out of a fairytale and we truly appreciated your kindness, understanding and hospitality. we hope to come back one day if you will have us.

very close by to all the tourist attractions and a lidl right beside us. beside the main road so very handy. staff was super nice and accommodating

bit expensive for what we got , small room. smelled a bit musty. old milk with the tea making facilities. breakfast was okay. shower only. not enough towels.

Alice, the manager, was very nice. Breakfast was very good.

We made our reservations in Feb and upon arrival were told they only had one room - a twin - for one night and had to book our second night at a hotel in Killarney (which cost us €60 additional). They blamed it on Booking.com, change of ownership/management. Rooms/house were musty - lots of windows opened to compensate. Decor needs updating/refurbishing.
