Great location, perfect for a weekend break - would look to stay here again
4.3
The staff was fantastic, very helpful, gave us all sort of explanations and useful tips. The breakfast had more goodies than expected, and they will prepare scramble eggs on the spot and pastries were warm from the oven. The rooms are not huge but after walking more than 8 hours per day the only thing that matters is a very comfortable bed (which it was!) The shower had amazing water pressure and toiletries smelled fantastic. Modern bathrooms and very clean rooms.

Great location, everyone was very friendly and attentive to anything we needed. Great breakfast!!

From the reception during check-in until the check-out, every single employee was exceptionally kind and polite. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel because it had the Venice vibe that I wanted to experience. I am looking forward to coming back again in the near future!

I loved this charming little hotel! I stayed on the 5th floor and the elevator was fast and efficient! The room was so lovely and charming. From the wallpaper to the antique mirrors, I can’t say enough good things about it. The bathroom was incredible and updated. I loved the rain shower head so much! It was close to the water bus station and very close to all the main attractions. The staff was so lovely and helpful, I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10 recommend!
Nothing, it was perfect!
4.3
Perfect location in Campo Santo Stefano square, with several restaurants nearby and near all key locations in Venice, very friendly staff, all clean and cosy
Breakfast could have been included in the room fee
4.3
Everything was lovely, the location is great with restaurants just outside the door.
The room is not very spacious but it was expected given that it is Venice.
4.3
The history, as this hotel was previously a Watch Tower. Located in a large Piazza with several restaurants.
The bed a little soft for our personal comfort.
4.3
Very nice hotel with perfect air conditioning (automátic)
4.3
Staff very nice
Very good breakfast
Small room
Unpleasant view.
AC right towards the bed
4.3
Good location, cute decor and friendly staff.
A personal request for a birthday surprise was honoured by the hotel.
Bottled water in the room wasn’t complimentary after the first day and breakfast choice could be improved, I’d recommended eating breakfast elsewhere
4.3
The property is in a very good location. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They took their time to give us restaurant suggestions and directions.
The room was comfortable as is had everything we needed.
The room was small and the room rate is a bit high for what it is but obviously it is the price for staying in Venice.
4.3
Location was great, located in a nice area of Venice. Wide assortment of food for breakfast, Outside patio for breakfast which was lovely. Staff were helpful in providing information about sites and places to visit
4.3
The hotel is charming, very well looked after. Good bed, beautifully decorated. Staff very nice. Good air conditioning.
Location is great. It has style.
4.3
We enjoyed the decor and location, friendly staff and the fire stick.

The hotel is located centrally, close to Academia vapoter to station. The staff were welcoming and friendly. In particular Eleonora, went out of her way to give us recommendations that made our stay memorable.
Warm Regards

Very friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location away from crowds but still central. Small but lovely rooms.
Nothing.

We loved the service. Fabulous team, special mention to Giovanni, Eleonora and gentlemen who had the night shift. The rooms were Victorian giving you the experience of living in Venice. Extremely thoughtful welcome package with goodies. As all Venice rooms, this one was small as well but very well planned and comfortable. Bang in the middle of Piazza San Stefano and few steps away from Academia Bridge really was a perfect spot.
Nothing of any major value. Wife would’ve liked a full length mirror. They have one which is part of the Bathroom door.
4.3
Good location, stylish room
Broken air conditioner, no iron/steamer, had to give keycard to staff upon leaving each time
4.3
great location and not a far walk from the water taxi drop off.
small room but hey it’s Venice.
4.3
Excellent staff. Photos of the room were accurate and the view to the square was really nice.
4.3
Gorgeous room, bathroom, location and staff
4.3
The location of the hotel is central. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All in all, the room was clean and decent.
Having to use an external bathroom was very annoying and uncomfortable. Overall, I found this hotel overpriced for what it offered.
4.3
The position is very nice, as well the view on Campo Santo Stefano is beautiful. The historical building is also great. The hotel has few rooms and I consider this a plus, no confusion.
The room was small and the bathroom outside although very near and with few steps to cross. If you need the toilet at night it can be unpleasant. So I find the price of the room a bit too high.
4.3
Near to all places of interest. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Rooms a little small but very nice.
4.3
The breakfast was cute. There were lots of options. The location was fair, near restaurants and shops but not on canal. Staff was nice.
They had a small elevator which was helpful.
The property is small and the lobby crowded with stuff. The air conditioning didn’t work. We opened windows for air and ended up with mosquitoes in the room and bites.
4.3
The location is close to the Grand Canal and therefore easy to get to various attractions in Venice. The staff at the front desk were terrific, helpful and most welcoming. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We were presented a gift box upon arrival of various travel essentials that was unexpected and nice. The room refrig had bottled water, yogurt and juice - all free to the guests -that was a first! I would definitely recommend Hotel Santo Stefano and would stay there in future visits to Venice.
