Location, facilities and staff were great.

- Pool are is quite nice and service was great
- The beach was beautiful, although there were not lounge chairs, sun bed or anywhere to be. No service either
- Breakfast is served until noon
- Staff was super kind at the end of the trip and gave us the hospitality room after checkout
- Food was not great, too expensive for what you get
- The hotel was basically empty and they could not give us the room before 3 pm since they had to clean it, I´m 7 months pregnant and ask for this in advance so we could rest
- We had to ask for wifi password, to know schedule for breakfast... for a 5 star hotel staff and support when arrived was quite poor

I have been going to this resort for 7 years. now that I am retiring I will be going there more frequently. The staff are the best I have ever experienced, and I have traveled worldwide
they are currently upgrading the property so it can be a little bit noisy. but they should be done soon

The grounds were very quiet as the hotel was located about 15min away from downtown la Paz. This means you have to have a rental car to get around. The beds were also very comfortable and we had a gorgeous view. There is an AMAZING coffee shop next to the boat docs on the hotel community grounds, which had the best coffee I've add and very tastee treats. This was my favorite part of staying at this hotel.
The food was VERY expensive and not very good at the hotel and in the community around the hotel. We tried 2 hotel restaurants and the bar and 1 restaurant by the docs and all were very mediocre with very pricy menus. None of the menus were diverse, so we had a lot of burgers. None had Mexican traditional food on the menu and everything was over salted. very meh. Also, the shower in the middle of the room was glass, so there's no privacy. How strange to have two twin beds implying non romantic cohabitants and also sexy shower. My son had to leave the room every time I wanted to wash up. Serious design flaw.

beautiful location and very quiet. staff were so helpful especially one bellboy, Ramon Humberto Ramirez. He always went out of his way to help with anything you needed, directions, maps etc. It is individuals like Ramon that you remember from a trip.
location a bit far from the malecon so you needed a car or taxi. The menu for the restaurants was so limited, room service was the same menu as the restaurant for lunch and dinner. almost forced you to look elsewhere

The beach and surrounding area is gorgeous and there's a beach club next door that is really nice. The staff are friendly and seem to be the same from the hotel and beach club.
The hotel is old and needs updating. The rooms are small and there is no ocean view from their infinity pool. There's a half hazard way to make your way down to the beach.

The view from the lobby is gorgeous. The staff is very welcoming, greeted us with a cold beer and water! The American Breakfast was really nice.
Lots of steps up and down to the pool. No ocean view rooms because they're being remodeled. There is no jacuzzi or ocean view at the pool (you must pay $60 extra each to go to the beach club to enjoy the Jacuzzi and beach.

It was pet friendly and the hotel staff in golf carts and shuttles will give you a free ride around the property.
This is not a 5 star resort by any standard, don't be fooled by the pictures. The only reason they are listed as such is because they are next ti a Marina.Ive stayed at better boutique hotels on the Malecon than this.
It seems they designed this hotel badly, they should have put the hotel and its pool on the beach, but instead they decided to build a couple of vacation rental homes in front of theocean (some access points even have planters to block access to the beach?) and let people with large dogs run around without leashes and crapping all over the beach . We repeatedly saw this white husky scare young kids and harass many guests by jumping and scratching their backs. I like that they are pet friendly but they should enforce leash rules and hold owners accountable. The hotel should enforce dog rules and require all owners to put collars on their pets and use leashes, no matter who the owners are. This dog really ruined our family experience both times we visited the hotel beach. Two large breed husky type dogs without collars and no owners to be found anywhere. This is the main reason we will not be returning here. Also Not impressed with the hotel pool. You can go next door to the beach club for a much better pool, view and overall experience if you purchase their day pass. They actually scared away these unleashed dogs from their property after they starting bothering other guests while relaxing on the beach lounges. They said they belonged to someone from the hotel they seem to know... shame on them. There are much better public beaches with easier access in La Paz that are closer to town and no stray dogs to harass you. The pool and bar are of a mediocre 3 star property, there was only one staff member making drinks and also waiting tables/ getting checks on a Saturday evening at the pool bar?. Felt bad for the staff member.

Beautiful property and a short ride to the Malecon for $150 pesos. The staff is amazing and kind. These restaurants at the marina are excellent. For $25 a day you can use the incredible facilities next door at the Blue Cortez Beach Club.
No refrigerators in the room. No shop to buy snacks or water.

the beach was wonderful and pool was amazing, restaurants were all great we had a great selection of things to do and everything went as plan. the staff gave us good tips on new location beaches we should see.
it would be a good idea to have a near by car wash or just a simple car wash maybe interior only, renting a car to go to the beach can be messy and we had no time to find a reliable car wash. a staff helped us out on washing the interior the night before are flight.

rooms could do with an update. water went out but staff went out of way to find a way to help us go shower. ultimately it came back in time to be able to shower before checkout.
