A very good place to stay in Amsterdam a quiet neighborhood with something that it really unique - a tarrace at a canal with wildlife to admire! Perfect for afternoon relaxing. The owner is super friendly and just so nice to talk to! We stayed there two nights, but it felt like mini holidays. Plus there is place for a car, which is something in any city, not to mention Amsterdam.
4.3
1. Rear view from garden. 2. Quiet suburb.
1. Lack of Cleanliness. 2. Lack of ventilation in bedroom (i.e. no window). 3. Lack of electrical safety (i.e. exposed electrical terminals). 4. Lack of ventilation in bathroom/WC. 5. Lack of fresh/new toiletries. 6. Lack of use of credit card (debit card only). 7. Lack of consistency with step height inside property. 8. Property lack of ownership when issues were raised (albeit issues raised post stay). 9. Damage deposit not fully returned until issue raised with Booking.com. 10. Unregulated industry means pot luck with private accommodation. 11. Property is not interested in taking on positive criticism to improve and enhance future stays.

Pleasant, quiet location, garden with steps down to canal with lovely wildlife. Spacious lounge/bedroom with cool, very natural furnishings. Marisca was very welcoming & even gave us a bottle of wine
10 minute walk to tram station & supermarket
The twin bedroom was cramped and windowless
The hairdryer didn’t work (although I’m sure if I’d asked Marisca she would have found another one)

The appartement was great and exactly as described. Really calm in front of the water. It was clean. Mariska was really helpful and answered quickly to all our messages.

The apartment was very nice, the garden was outstanding. You have your own access to the water for the full Amsterdam experience :) . The owner was very friendly and accommodating, she immediately told us all the important spots and was always ready to answer any questions.

not much.
not modern, needs renovation, not really clean, spiders on ceiling, dirty windows, some rubbish on a decking, seems sink in a shower room blocked. Last our staying night was very noisy from property above.Price too expensive for this kind of property.

Nice place with a great terrace looking right next to a quite canal. Place was comfortable and quite spacious. The BBQ worked well and the seating outside was very pleasant (we were also quite lucky with the weather). Free parking in Amsterdam is hard to come by, so it was great that you can park your car infront of the house or nearby.
Location is a bit out of the way. Good if you are coming by car and need to leave it there. But if you want to make several trips a day to the city, probably not the best.

Nice and quiet location. Supermarket and tramway close enough (800 m). Very nice patio right along a canal.
And most important, Mariska is very friendly and helpful.
For some, could be too quiet, restaurants are at 800m minimum

quiet and the landlord allowed me to have my laundry done.
nothing really but nothing too fancy

We had an amazing stay here, with such an amazing and accommodating host! Would definitely recommend and will stay again next time we are in Amsterdam!

We really liked the property and Mariska the host was so lovely and even left us a bottle of wine as a welcome gift! Something all of us were dying for after all the travelling haha. The garden was amazing and I can imagine it’s beautiful in the summer (as we visited in feb!)
We felt the actual property itself was a bit forgotten about because of the beautiful garden, maybe the addition of some features on the walls would make it look a bit more homely. Also more storage space to hang/store clothes would be good. Other than that is was perfect for what we needed

Very friendly Personal. Thank you! Beautiful terrace and nice location.
It was not very clean at all. Especially the kitchen and the floor. The furniture is old and partly broken.
