superb hosts, excellent generous breakfast, stunning views and friendly staff, but little expensive

Breakfast was superb, and the staff/chef were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. Food was really good and lots of fresh ingredients, many grown on the property Bed was comfortable

We did point out to the owner that we had booked a specific room on the Booking.com website, and this information did not get through to the hotel. They will be fixing this. The room we were allocated was nice, which a view over the veggie garden (nice) and not with the lagoon view. The rate was a bit high for what was on offer, but as the owners pointed out, the majority of their guests are coming from outside of Africa and therefore US$,GBP, Euro, etc

Exceptional accommodation. Presidential suite is enormous. Beautiful location with nice pool. Lovely staff and great value.

Schöne Unterkunft mit viel Familienanschluss

Wir wurden mit einem Upgrade in die Präsidentensuite beschenkt. Wunderschöne Räume mit vielen Kunstwerken. Sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Gastgeber . Supergutes Frühstück.

Liebesbedürftige Dogge ist nicht immer erwünscht. Z.B. beim Frühstück oder nachts mit lautem Gebell.

Traumhaftes Anwesen liebenswürdiger Gastgeber, in dem es einem an nichts mangelt!

Herzliche Gastgeber mit sehr persönlicher Betreuung. Wunderbares Anwesen herrlich auf einem Hügel über der Lagune gelegen. Liebenswürdiges Personal, das einen rührend umsorgt. Wir sind begeistert!

Sehr schön wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Zimmer war riesig und das Frühstück liebevoll zubereitet von Happy. Es gab einen tollen Pool und einen Kinderspielplatz. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Aussergewöhnliche, wunderschöne und bezahlbare Unterkunft

Wunderschönes Farmhaus mit atemberaubendem Blick auf die Lagune. Sehr gepflegtes Anwesen mit Pool, Sitzmöglichkeiten und prachtvollem Patio. Die Zimmer sind mehr als geräumig, modern und zweckmässig. Sehr bequeme Betten. Das Frühstück wird an einem langen Tisch serviert, wo alle Gäste beisammen sitzen. Happy bereitet das warme Frühstück auf Bestellung frisch zu. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben uns sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Während unserem Aufenthalt hat eine Vernissage stattgefunden und wir durften daran teilnehmen. Herzlichen Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit, die wir bei euch verbringen durften.

From the breathtaking views that greeted us every morning to the sumptuous breakfasts that delighted our taste buds, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. What truly set our experience apart were the people, especially Bryan, Happy, and the owners. Bryan and Happy were consistently perfect in their service. Their professionalism, combined with a genuinely caring attitude, made us feel incredibly welcome and valued. They were always there to assist us, ensuring that every detail of our stay was taken care of seamlessly. The owners of the hotel also deserve special mention. Their passion for hospitality shines through in every corner of the hotel. They have created an atmosphere that is both luxurious and homely, making every guest feel like part of the Hudson Manor family.

Umwerfend!

Einfach nur wow. Wirklich ein wundervoller Platz auf dieser Erde. Wir hatten die Präsidentensuite gebucht - 125qm pure Erholung. Großes Bad mit Badewanne. Super bequemes mit mit Wärmedecken und Blick in den Garten. Außerdem hatten wir einen Kamin, in dem wir abends Feuer machen konnten. Das Frühstück war frisch und lecker. Bryan hat sich bestens um uns gekümmert. Wir freuen uns, irgendwann wieder zurück zu kommen!

Superb

It was a lovely experience to stay along with the family members of the estate. It was a beautiful farm and was a lovely gesture to give us an upgrade. The room was beautiful. We loved the property.

Tranquil and peaceful stay

The place is spacious with a very good view to Knysna lagoon, also full of fruit trees and lovely veg garden, fresh eggs from chickens… The hosts and helpers are very friendly and helpful, there was a hot water issue during our stay but they came assist immediately and offer the alternative. The location is convenient to everywhere but we also enjoyed just relaxing and chill in the estate which surrounded by a sweet dog Emily, playful cats(ginger and shadow), birds, deer… very tranquil and peaceful stay.

Just a suggestion, it would be nice to have a full body sized mirror in the president’s suit.

Great view of the Knysna lagoon and a friendly family

President room was fabulous, almost like an apartment. Beautiful artwork in the room which was very spacious. Excellent value for money. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made us feel at home.

It was cold in the room. The heating is anemic mainly because the room is so large.

Above expectation, great value for money

Great location with a beautiful view. The room was perfect (Presidential Suite) for us and our 2 kids. When we arrived they immediately gave us a box with kids toys. There is also a play area outside for the kids.

In a word- "AMAZING" - Can't remember what we paid. Doesn't matter. The property and staff delivered an amazing experience. Breakfast was an exceptional experience. Definitely would go back. Can't recommend highly enough. If you're in the area, book here.

A little hard to find. Mr Google wasn't that helpful. Not a big drama!!

Beautiful accommodation with views to die for

The staff at Hudson are the most friendliest and accommodating. The grounds are so well-kept with beautiful veggie gardens. The rooms are beautifully decorated with attractive artwork.

Upon arrival there were no clear signs of a reception and where to check-in. It seemed the staff were confused about our arrival time. Our room had many spider webs showing that it hadn't been used for a while. We also struggled with many mosquitos without an insect killer at hand.

We’d love to come back! This place is truly special with absolutely stunning views.

What an incredible place!! The view is unbelievable and our suite was perfectly located so we could admire it. The family were so warm and welcoming. They gave us some great recommendations for dinner and things to do. Happy was on hand to help with anything and she made a great breakfast. There is beautiful Art work everywhere and the family have an art studio for artists to use.

As they are still developing the area, there wasn’t any clear signs to the property once you enter the estate.

I would highly recommend this environment to connect back with yourself

Everything was wonderful. From the organic food picked from the garden to the scerene views and the family ambiance. Had such a marvelous retreat for my birthday weekend and we will visit again as a family. Thank you Greg and Lizet for a memorable experience.

Breathtaking view

What is there not to like about this beautiful farm? It has the most unique and stunning view you can ever dream of. Thank you for making this place feel like our home away from home.

I would've liked the room to be equipped with an aircon, but furthermore I can't find anything negative.
