As condições do mesmo, o bem estar da varanda e a piscina incrível Muito sossegado, ótimo para descanso O pequeno almoço variado, perfeito!

Spectacular scenery, hiking and people.

The venue is located in a rural area, which is what we wanted. The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful. I am a light sleeper, so really appreciated the fact that there was no noise at night. The room was a good size, and the bed and pillows comfy. The shower was excellent, and the room had tea and coffee making facilities. It also had a balcony overlooking a river, and a hammock ! The communal areas are large. The main area had a large tv, lots of seating, an open fire (during winter), great Wi-Fi and 4g reception. There is also a small swimming pool - well maintained, a free pool table, and hot and cold drinks available (including wine and beer) which you can purchase. The rooms also had air conditioning. The breakfasts were excellent. This is a family run place, and the family and staff were fabulous. They are very proud of their locality, and will provide you with any information that you need to make the most of your stay.

Public transport is not common in this area, which did not bother us as we had a rental car. I would suggest you will need a hire car to get around the area.

המקום מפנק . הקבלה היתה מצוינת והחדרים נוחים . מיטה מאוד טובה , כל יום היה מים . ארוחת הבןקר היתה טובה . המלון נמצא בצד הדרומי של הפארק וממנו יצאנו לטיולים במפלים ובפארק . צמוד למלון יש מסלולי טיול . יש במלון לובי יפה עם שולחן בילארד .

הבריכה נראת מוזנחת וטלויזיה היתה קטנה . היינו מחוץ לעונה אולי בגלל זה הבריכה נראת ככה .

Erro de informação sobre o hotel

Os donos são muito atenciosos e o hotel fica bem situado, num lugar lindo.

O hotel não tem os serviços conforme descrito no Booking.com. O restaurante não está funcionando, e não tem cardápio para diabéticos. Questionado o Sr Bernardo respondeu que o restaurante está fechado faz 3 anos, e não tem responsabilidade sobre essas informações, porque as descrição do hotel são de responsabilidade do Booking.com. O café da manhã é muito fraco, apesar da gentileza dos funcionários. Não poderia se enquadrar num hotel 4 estrelas.

Very quiet town, great place to get some rest. wonderful staff.

it is really quiet, nicely build on the outside of the small town. The famous Misarela bridge is only an hour walk (retour). Staff is very friendly and honest in recommending restaurants nearby.

Exceptional

A wonderful family run hotel in a gorgeous area. The father and son owners were very helpful, and we loved their recommendations for a hike (the Pont Misarela) and dinner (Hostel do Geres). They stoked a fire in the communal area in the evening, and it was a very comfortable place to have a drink and relax. We would love to return!

The curtains in our bathroom didn't open properly, but it really wasn't a problem!

Highly recommended: cozy, beautiful, excellent staff.

Hotel Rural Misarela was one of our trip's highlights. It is a renovated, small, cosy hotel, located at the edge of the park. The rooms are lovely and have a porch with a hammock overlooking the view. There is a large, comfortable living room, shared by the guests, with sofas, a coffee machine, pool room, many books and board games. There are also bicycles the guests can use. The breakfast was excellent and very generous. But most of all, the staff! Bernardo who owns the place with his father was super helpful, gave us great tips for hiking trails. His father was extremely nice and gave us recommendations for near by restaurants. Another very nice and helpful young woman (unfortunately I don't know her name) was very helpful, pleseant and patient with all our questions. Highly recommended!

everything was excellent. The only thing I can think of is that the hotel is located a bit far from the park's center, but for us, this was not a problem.

i recomand the hotel

The hotel is very nice and cozy, the view is amazing. The room was comfortable lots of space and a nice porch and a hammock. The staff were so nice and helpful.

the pool was very cold just so you know- I guess all pool up north will be cold- lower your expectations from swimming but it is beautiful. There are almost no restaurants around- driving for 15-30 minuts and no food at the hotel for dinner.

Relaxing location combined with an excellent hotel

Free and good parking spot, excellent breakfast, very helpful host, nice and quite room with a view and good beds, bathroom was perfect with hot shower. Wifi was provided with several wifi access points. The location was very close to the river with some nice spots to swim and eat, for which we got good tips from the host. Not many tourists so perfect for a relaxing vacation!

Great views (from specific rooms) and nice swimming pool

Breakfast was a bit poor. The last day we were there we woke up early and went for breakfast that started 8:30. Once we arrive there was almost nothing there, most of the food was gone. I asked the person from the hotel that was there at the time, and she said that a group of workers had been there earlier and had eaten most of it. (They went at 7:30) So there was very little left for the other clients (that at the time I think were very few or probably just us). So what doesn’t make sense is… if they knew that there was no more food, why didn’t they restock the breakfast table in time for normal breakfast opening hours??? We had to ask them for food! Photos of how the breakfast was once we arrived in attach. You’d think that a hotel that charges 110€ (+) night was be a bit more organized…

Nice mountain hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great. The hotel has nice common areas with a library and a lounge with an open fireplace. It gives a cozy atmosphere.

We came during the pandemic and were the only guests. The staff did what they could to make us feel welcome.

A place to stay

Everything else. The quietness of the place, the view, the comfortable rooms, the staff. If you are looking for a place to rest for a few days, this is for you!

You have poor wifi in the rooms, and I had trouble connecting my tablet to access their internet. The hotel restaurant was closed because of the covid pandemic (which is totally understandable). Nevertheless, you have a walking distance restaurant.
