Fantastic home - true to listing. 2 large, fenced areas for puppy to explore with fences that went down to ground and were high enough to keep our bouncy Iggy safe. Beautiful garden areas and outdoor firepit. Indoor fire draws beautifully. Double glazing and good heating/air-conditioner. Spacious rooms and SMEG kitchen appliances. Laundry in shed out back well equipped. We took a folding dog pen for use inside as well. Beautiful experience.

Such a cute little cottage for our family autumn getaway.
Brilliant secure yard for our fur-babies.
Kitchen possibly needs a few more utensils however we ate out local during our stay so didn’t affect us. Great touch with the Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary pods!

Cosy getaway
Beautiful home and garden . Very comfy beds. Great location, walking distance to Blackheath village. Missing a few small things such as box of matches or dry wood to light the fire. Was told by owner that these things are supplied in Winter even though it’s been very cold up here in May.

A delightful haven in a great location
As a small group of friends we enjoyed our 3 nights here - once we overcame the heating issue that Wayne responded to immediately. Spacious and comfortable, the beds, linens etc are first rate, the decor pleasingly contemporary and fresh, the accommodation of a small dog most appreciated. The addition of some kitchen accoutrements will greatly enhance the stay for those who like to cook at home. Communications were very prompt and would happily book to stay here again.

Easter getaway with our puppy
We loved staying in this beautiful property! The house was very clean and the gardens were stunning with gorgeous Autumn colours. Our puppy loved exploring the 2 garden areas which were fenced and secure. The cottage is ideally located to dog-friendly attractions, including the river walk at Hartley, the night-lit walk in Katoomba as well as the lookouts in Blackheath. It is well appointed with lots of thoughtful touches like the cosy electric blankets!
Wendy was an excellent communicator. We had a really wonderful stay, thankyou!

Lovely house in a great location
I travelled with my elderly parents, husband and dog and spent two nights at the house. It was exactly as described. My only comments would be that there were no chux for cleaning in the kitchen and that the beds were quite hard and uncomfortable, but that could just be what we are used to.
I highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back in the future as my daughter lives locally.

Love the Decor
We enjoyed our stay at Charming Mountain Cottage and our little dog enjoyed exploring the securely fenced grounds. Lovely decor and everything you could want. The central heating easy to use and very efficient. Only one small issue was the constant noise the fridge made, It might of had an issue or not been set correctly as it failed to get very cold. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Lovely cottage
This is the second time I have stayed here, and I've enjoyed it both times. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable, with particularly good beds. The garden is simply beautiful, and can be completely enclosed -- our dog had a marvellous time sniffing around safely, and there are great walks in every direction, including just 10 minutes up to the shopping centre.
