Stayed here a few years ago and the property has been nicely maintained. Has everything we need. The Smeg coffee machine was a bonus. Thanks.

We had a lovely stay in the mountains, beautiful outlook, lovely walks nearby, and a comfortable and warm house to come back to.
Minor hiccup at check in: the code for the lock box was incorrect. The correct code had been sent in a previous email, so we figured it out OK, but good to note for improvement.
Thanks for a great stay

Fabulous property overlooking the bush. Comfortable beds, very large bath and fire were highlights. The pantry was stocked with the basics. Would recommend and would stay again.
The agent gave us the wrong door code but they answered the after hours number and provided the correct one.

We had a great time , everything was very clean and comfortable and it was very cosy to relax in front of the fireplace. Appreciated that there were basic ingredients like tea, oil and spices in the kitchen.

Clean and comfortable! We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and listening to the birds.

Warm & cosy with plenty of room for our teen/adult family. Full kitchen for self catering was well equipped. Bonus having the washing machine. A few books and board games for those rainy afternoons in front of the fire. Drive is a bit tricky being narrow down a slope especially if you have a large 4wd, but can be easily reversed into down the lane way. We had a great visit and would definitely stay again.

Many issues disrupted the beginning of our stay including cleaners having not come, tv cable to antennae not installed and fire place not adequately maintained. Thankfully these were resolved by the second day of our stay however they did cause some disruption to our holiday. The property was well situated and relaxing to stay in.

It’s was cost with the fire and a leafy location but abit tricky streets and park. Beautiful home
It was good. When something didn’t work they fixed it straight away. The fire was amazing. The carport was a little dangerous so one of us had to park somewhere else which was tricky because the streets were narrow.

Great little place
Has everything you need.
Took a while to warm the place with the fire. But once that was going it’s good. In winter take your slippers !!

Memorable time before Christmas
A very well presented small property wonderfully nestled close to the Blackheath township. It is well located amidst the native bush and greetings by all types of birds in the morning. Amenities were well stocked like the kitchen utensils and ironing board. Only items to note were, i) we were visiting during strong afternoon winds and the magnetic flyscreens could not hold when the windows were ajar (kept blowing them off), ii) some plants (maybe the large ferns or other plants adjacent to the external walls) need trimming as they make a scraping sound on the external walls when the winds were blowing, iii) please visit using small cars (parking space is small with the shared driveway) and with my 4WD it can be a 4-5 point turn. Otherwise, it is a very cosy place for a stay in the Blue Mountains.

Blackhea
It was a good place to stay. Lovely garden, warm and comfortable. One gripe. The single beds were uncomfortable and were made up with only one sheet

Cozy and relaxing
The cottage was perfect for our weekend at Blackheath. It was warm due to the air conditioning and the log fire. The spa is wonderful and is actually bigger than it appears in the photographs. The cottage is also close to the centre of Blackheath and its cafes, galleries and we caught some smooth jazz at the pub. Perfect.

Great cabin - loves the bath and the fire. A little musty though which messed with allergies

Cozy and comfy
Everything you need for a great getaway. Beds very comfortable and great size house and rooms for 5-6 people. Plenty of hot water and huge spa bath for relaxing after a long walk. Had no issues with phone or data coverage with Optus. Tucked away so very quiet and private. Loved Blackheath, but also close enough to Katoomba and Leura for any day trips.

Lovely quiet location
We enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Central , but quiet location with comfortable beds.

We enjoyed our stay, beds are good and bedrooms nice. The house is well equipped with a fantastic spa bath and lovely wood stove. However, if you want to watch movies, bring a speaker which you can connect, as the TV sound is not good at all. There is only Telstra mobile reception (very patchy reception otherwise) and as there's no WiFi, be prepared for an internet-free stay. There is no coffee maker so BYO coffee. The house is nice and cosy, but these days, a coffee maker, WiFi and half-way decent TV could be included.

Awsome private stay
Clean spacious property in a very private location. Although we didn’t use theirs as we brought our own, it was nice to see many kitchen staples provided. The designer soaps weee a bonus.

could improve
Overall pretty good but a couple of little things. No toilet paper in the main bathroom. Generic instructions are not enough. Eventually found the garbage bins at the end of the lane and put the rubbish from the green bin into the rubbish bin. Lots of plastic in the paper for the fire place. No instructions on how to get rid of the ash. The fire place badly needed cleaning out of ash. Eventually found the plates and cutlery in the dishwasher. Pity some of the glasses had not been put in there as well!

Lovely getaway in the Blue Mountains
The house and location itself are fantastic and just what we were looking for, and we would recommend it on this basis.
Whilst the check-in was flawless, the communication from the staff could be improved on, as it seemed a lot harder than normal to arrange a changed check in / check out times (which had to be rechecked) and whilst the staff were seemingly professional, when speaking on the phone were not very friendly. The floors were not cleaned on our arrival but after calling the staff they sent someone over to clean within half an hour.
