Miła obsługa (wcześniejsze zakwaterowanie), wyposażenie kuchni (kuchenka, mikrofalówka, lodówka, sztućce itp), wygodne łóżko. Przystanek tramwajowy z bezpośrednim dojazdem do centrum
Bardzo słabe wi-fi... Nieciekawa okolica. Brak oznakowania hotelu.
3.5
Check in problemlos. Zimmer sauber, alles da was man braucht.
Besserer Hinweis zur Unterkunft.

The rooms do not have Air-Conditioning and heat up a lot during the day. There is a big street outside of the window which makes it not possible to keep the window over night. Might be a fine hotel in winter but cannot recommend it in summer

The check in machine didn’t work at night, but the have solution
The check In machine didn’t work, and we had to deal with it. The room wasn’t clean at all. Lot’s of dust everywhere. We couldn’t find anyone at the property to help us. And when we messaged them it was already late.
I have allergy to dust, so it was really bad .

It was very dusty and the carpet was dirty!

The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable. We got what we paid for; to have a room with a small kitchen and a bathroom. Public transportation was easy to reach from the venue. It was easy to check in and out.
The floor was not really clean and there was no cleaning during our stay. The room was quite hot due to having no A/C, but we got a fan, which was positive.

Room get very hot under direct sun and have no air conditioning. Also noisy during night. We had bad sleeping here. Name of the hotel suggests that when you stay here you always sleepy because of bad sleeping during night.

The room was clean, pretty big. Everything in the room and bathroom works good.
Right next to our window were bench with ashtray, and there was no air conditioning in the room. So during the day when temperatures were about 29-30’C, it was really hot in the room and couldn’t open the window due to cigarettes smell.

Overall good experience.
I didnt like the fact that to go to the 2nd floor where this is located, I had to speak to the receptionist to open a safety door for me. During night hours, at some point the receptionist wasnt there and I couldnt enter. Luckily, another resident opened the door for me with his key.

location
Bed sheets no one charge them for 4 days .

Good, servicable room with basic facilities, adequate for a short stay. The apartment is right on the Tram line (Line 18), making it very accessible to when arriving by train in the city. There were a number of restaurants within easy walking distance and a supermarket across the road. Automatic checkin in is very easy.
The building itself is a little dated, but once you enter the Sleepy Design foyer it is really well presented.

Room has all needed to cook if needed... Sky TV a big plus...

I liked were the hotel was, perfect location for what I needed.
Didn't like the building the hotel was in, didn't get good vibes from the building staff or other people from the building. Card didn't work for access to lifts so constantly asking for accessm
Wasn't overly clean. Lots of noise coming from inside the building including crashes and bangs. Bathroom smelt funny. Nothing to ask for room to be cleaned/serviced daily so wasn't done at all throughout my stay.
Very expensive for what it was.
3.5
Very clean place and very impressive sound proofing. The place is on one of the main roads into Cologne, but you don't hear anything!
Television remote control didn't work. Lighting in the entrance area was controlled by IR sensor, i.e. could not be switched off manually. Very annoying, when you use the toilet at night and then the light doesn't go out for 5 min or so.

ARRIVED TO ROOM AND NICE WELCOME BOTTLE OF SPARKLING WINE AND A NEW YEAR COOKIE GIFT AWAITING FOR US..CHECK IN DONE BY COMPUTER , VERY EASY...ROOM WAS NICE SIZE.. PUBLIC TRANSPORT RIGHT IN FRONT SO EASY TO GET AROUND..
NOTHING NOT TO LIKE

Reception desk was responsive and helpful.
The kitchen utensils were dirty and had stains on them probably from a previous stay. The coffee machine was not very clean either. Towels had stains on them. Overall the room and the bathroom were not very clean.
3.5
The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. A television was provided, as well as a fan. We got 2 rooms and they were next to each other. Weirdly, one was a bit bigger than the other but that is fine :)
The hotel was located in a tall building and there was no good outside area to smoke, so I had to go all the way down with the elevator to have a smoke. Also, the closet was missing a door, it was ripped out.

All was good and clean, I recommend

The main thing I liked was that it's in central Cologne and it's affordable -- not a common combination! The receptionist (who works for the building, not for this odd little pop-up hotel) was really lovely and helped me navigate the rather complex access arrangements.
The building is very strange -- a huge mostly-disused office building of which 1/3 of one floor has been turned into this sort of automated hotel thing. The area is dull and full of vacant lots, the building and surroundings can be slightly creepy, with a lot of bare echoing concrete corridors.
There's no sign visible from the street -- but to be fair, they do give you good instructions on how to find it and get in.

the traffic is convenient, the apartment is large but a little cold in winter

The room was excellent, stuff very helpful , property right next to a tram and a taxi staton, very good connection to the city canter and the airport. Covid-protection on a nighest level, everything is contactless, stuff very responsive and helpful on e-mail, self-check-in and check-out, hand sanitizer in the room...Love the coffee :-)

One of the best places one can think of while staying in Cologne. Rooms are kept very neat and tidy even when you are staying longer. Stuff is helpfull beyond describing. As to the location it is all you need when visiting this beautiful city of Cologne. District Sultz is 5 minutes walking and it's a cosy ,nice place full of restaurants and bars. If, on the other hand you would like to see Kolner Dom and everything Altstadt has to offer it is no more than 30 minutes walking. Back to the location - downstairs you have a shop, bakery, pizza restaurant and wonderful, wonderful Falafel/Kebap place (House of Falafel) that stays open till 23 (which is not that obvious regarding other places to eat well.). Near you have an Univeristy and plenty of parks with lots and lots of young people enjoying their time! Not to mention a countless numer of pubs/bars/restaurants/shops(kiosk) and other thing one could imagine. Hotel itself is based on the second floor. When entering the building there is a protier who would help you with everything (on a daily bases he/she is the one to open you the door to let you in to the elevators/stair). When reaching Hotel there is machine where you can confirm your arrival and get your room cards (keys). If you would have problems with operating said machine there is always a person who you can call and will lead you step by step with everything. If you need to get an invoice then just write them an email and consider it done.
There is absolutely noting not to like
3.5
Self check in using the machine
No air conditioning in the room, but due to busy traffic outside it was too noisy to sleep with the open window.
3.5
Clean, central position, tram station in front of the building, uncomplicated check in/check out coffee mashine in the room + tea/cofee
We received a single room instead of a double room, although we booked for 2 persons - just 1 pillow, 1 Shampoo etc.
The bed was ok for 1 person (1.40 I think), for 2 it was a little bit small.
It was very noisy from the street and we had to choose between too hot (window closed) and too noisy (window open). No air condition.
The door downstairs is closed and one has to go always to reception of the building and tell th to open it. They don y just do it whhen they see people staying there in front of the door. It would be better when the guests would receive a card or smth to open it.

Concept felt safe despite cvd19 with contactless check-in, nice boxspring bed, good wifi that worked well for videocalls.
To get access to your room, you always need the doorman to open the door to the elevators in the lobby

The “Design Sleepy” can easily be reached by car, bus and tram. It’s an area where many students live—Cologne University is close.
You would like to explore Cologne and all its treasures? All this and more can be easily done from this place.
The owner/manager and his wife are very friendly and go out of their way to help the guests.
The small kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Highly recommend!
Personally, I’d like the general check-out deadline to be moved to 22 noon.

Free coffee and sky TV.
It is a bit difficult to find. The apartments are located in the large Uni Center building. You need to ask the main reception for access to the floor with the apartment. This wasn't written anywhere in the booking information.
3.5
Traffic is clearly hearable all day round.
Bed is too soft.
