Lovely place, perfect for our trip to Burnham and berrow golf club. Great breakfast, lovely people and friendly dogs. Walking distance to a nice local pub. Hope to stay again.
Nothing, great place to stay.

Breakfast was a bonus for our guys, the location was quiet, which was perfect as they were working nights.
Comfortable, clean rooms.
The hosts were extremely proactive and called me as soon as I had booked to discuss access arrangements, accommodating our unusual check-in time. They even made sure the heating was put on so the property was warm for the guys when they arrived early in the morning.

Comfortable clean and everything we needed for a short stay

The view from our bedroom was lovely- horses one side and chickens the other.
It was clean, with VERY comfy beds
I would preface this by saying it’s not really an issue just not something I’m used to.. but location wise was only really pubs that you have to book in advance to go to otherwise you have to drive to a nearby town to get food.

Very welcoming hosts. Very kind and thoughtful. We were late due to traffic and Carmen contacted the pub about our dinner booking.
Had everything we needed for an overnight stay.
And the breakfast was amazing.

Breakfast was lovely and the owners were very friendly and helped us settled in and feel comfortable. We loved to chat to them in the morning over breakfast, which was very yummy. We appreciated that this was there home we were staying in but the the place is setup very well for guests.
There was some confusion about kids being allowed in the room we had booked. Nothing was obvious to me whilst making the booking so it came as a bit of a shock there would be any sort of issue. There are other rooms that families are welcome in but thankfully our kids behaved and there was no issue. The place has a very relaxed grown up feel so not somewhere interesting for young ones but lovely for country get aways or stop overs whilst traveling.

Owners were really lovely and had two beautiful dogs. Great location to break our journey down to Cornwall from North Yorkshire. We were upgraded from a family room to a cottage. The cottage was all ground floor so perfect for families with young kids, dogs or anyone with reduced mobility. The owner showed us a nice circular walk into the village which was only a 10-15 min walk and had a couple of pubs and a shop. Friendly locals. Nice and quiet. Good shower and comfortable bed.
Not a lot. Duvets were heavy for the time of year but we are hot sleepers.

Good location, Eggs were nice
EDIT: The owner of this property has responded to my review blatantly lying to you saying we arrived at midnight. This made me laugh out loud! Please know we arrived at 21:30 hours and regularly updated her. The Female staff member was very rude. We were travelling 5 hours from halifax to stay for 1 night, yes we were headed to glastonbury festival and just wanted a good night's sleep before heading there. We rang the female a few times to update her on times we would be there and she was rude, telling us that people arrive late all the time for glastonbury and made us feel like an inconvenience as opposed to welcomed guests. If glastonbury is an issue for the owners here then i suggest you not allow glastonbury guests and state on the website? The festival happens every year... its not sprung upon them. Not that we were any issue, just a couple of hours later than expected. On the drive down we went through a terrible storm to the point we couldn't see on the motorway so we rang and advised how far off we were. The female accused us of lying saying "well someone else has just arrived and they said it was fine!" They could have come from anywhere or any direction. We were also told breakfast is from 8am and no earlier (we said we were leaving early) which is fine but no need to be so abrupt right? When we arrived the male showed us to our room but came into our room and lingered for a bit, it was a bit awkward. The room was very average beds were far too soft or springy, no inbetween. The shower had loads of pubes on the door. In the morning we decided to wait for breakfast which was OK however we didn't get much of a choice, just assumed we all wanted a full English. The only time the female seemed friendly towards us was when we asked her about her chickens in the garden. If you want friendly welcoming hosts especially after a long tiring drive then book somewhere else! We will not recommend, nor will we ever return.

The location is wonderful but what really made our stay amazing we’re the hosts. Just the right amount of attention and a real desire to make our stay as good as possible. Thank you.

Super easy to find. Nice and homely
4.5
Lovely peaceful location within a short distance of places of interest, pubs and the beach. the owners, Carmen and Steve, were extremely welcoming, helpful and willing to assist with anything needed. The bungalow was comfortable and airy with a nice private outside space to relax in and the kitchen was well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
The WiFi connection would drop off at times despite the booster box.

Hosts and location were top class, accommodation was great.
Not being able to take more time off work to stay longer.
4.5
Tranquil rural location. Welcoming and helpful hosts. A lovely breakfast in a cosy dining room. Nice size bathroom and facilities. Very useful and more economical to be able to fit a family of 5 with parking on site.
The sleeping comfort of the bed and sofabed nearer the kitchen are ok for children and lighter adults but could perhaps be improved to provide same standard across all beds.
