The location was truly lovely. Right on the coast. You could hear the waves and the birds. Breakfast was fantastic! Homemade scones, full Irish breakfast. Good strong coffee. Then bedroom was cozy with plush carpets and very comfy bed.
The shower leaked onto the floor. But the shower was amazing. No coffee maker in the room. And no mugs for tea- but there was an electric kettle.

Cloudagh the host was too wonderful.
This is the best reception that I have ever had in all my years of holidaying.
The room was very inviting and comfortable with all the necessary amenities
If I ever come to Ireland 🇮🇪 again I would definitely stay with Cloudagh at Barrow Lodge
There was nothing not to like.

Of all the Bookings completed to date, this one was the best. The facilities are fantastic for a group of travelers. All rooms had large comfortable beds with desks and tables. Rooms with walk-in showers were available for those in need. Breakfasts were excellent and kept us well fueled during the day. The area in peaceful and relaxing as you can watch the tide roll in and out. The view from within the rooms was phenomenal. The owner was very attentive, friendly and available for any questions or requests. A lounge area was available for gathering at night for a board game or game of cards.
I wish the weather would have cooperated a little more to be abe to sit outside for tea and coffee. Other than that, we have no complaints or concerns reaging the facilities. It was a great space to stay while touring the countryside.

The setting was idyllic and the accommodation was so comfortable and luxurious. Of course, the best aspect of it all was the genuine warmth and hospitality of Clodagh and her team. Definitely will return.

Absolute lovely Welcome. We felt like coming as friends. Claudagh caring about us like a mom.
The room and bathroom were georgous and the view at the bay so nice. The bed very comfortable.
While flow you can even swim there. The bay was our 'infinity pool'. While ebb we watched the birds walking in the bay.
Very tasty breakfast with fresh baked scones and brown bread.
The best B&B we ever had. Fully recommend. We will come back.

Barrow Lodge was amazing. The host was the friendliest and most supportive person you will ever come across! She and her family are super hospitable. The breakfast was an amazing selection of scrumptious offerings. The room was a gorgeous masterpiece with such attention to detail that just made it work: a huge and comfortable bed in a huge and comfortable room with plenty of seating options, outlets in the rights spots and usb charging ports. We had stunning views of the bay from our bed and were able to walk straight out to the patio and be at the waters edge where there were yet more seating options. I can't wait to go back and not make any plans for sightseeing other than sitting out by the water's edge. The B&B is clearly a labor of love for the family who runs it.
Not a single thing! My experience couldn't be improved. It was wonderful.

My husband and I have been very lucky, we travelled to different countries, met many different people and experienced different accommodations. But never we have met two hosts like Clodagh and Niall, we had a warm welcome, amazing chats over delicious breakfasts, they made us feel more than guests, like old friends meeting again after a long time.
The Lodge is in an astonishing position, extremely well organised and kept. We were shocked by the incredible silence and peace.

Absolutely everything!! Even before we arrived, Clodagh did so much for us! She booked us dinner at a local restaurant, provided a cup of tea after a long days driving. She made sure we had everything we needed. The room was immaculate!! And breakfast... so delicious and filled us up for the day. We hated saying goodbye and would have loved to have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!!!

A stunning location right by the sea. Beautiful room with sea view, very comfortable, hotel-standard bedding and facilities. Excellent breakfast catering to our vegetarian diet, and hosts couldn't do enough for us, so helpful.

Breakfast was full Irish and perfect
Nothing Barrow Lodge was perfect. An ideal break away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The restaurants nearby are very good The Oyster Tavern West end Bar and Katie Brownes to name a few.
