Tenía cosas básicas, toallas, albornoz, chanclas por si necesitas para andas por casa. En el baño tienes gel y champú que puedes coger. También cosas gratis en la cocina que otras personas dejan.

Al llegar, preguntamos a la propietaria si podíamos dejar las maletas antes de hacer el check in. Su respuesta fue algo confusa, diciendo que no era justo hacerlo pero aceptando. Sabíamos que otras personas lo habían hecho, y preguntamos si podíamos hacerlo (no lo impusimos), por lo que no entendimos la respuesta. Al llegar, y tras avisarle, dejamos comida en el frigorífico. No obstante, la propietaria nos quito parte de la comida (fruta y carne) justificando que pensaba que era de otras personas (lo más curioso es que dejó algo de nuestra comida en la zona común). Y todo esto habiéndolo avisado de antemano. La limpieza superficial bien, pero a la casa le hace falta limpieza profunda. Telarañas en las esquinas del techo, polvo en las esquinas del suelo, algunos platos estaban con grasa, la basura no se recogió durante dos días a pesar de que estaba llena. En las estancias comunes (cocina y salón) hay productos de limpieza por encima, comida que puedes coger por encima de la mesa y de forma desordenada. Nada acogedor. No recomendable.

Sharing 1 bathroom with 6 other people was very unpleasant. I had to leave the house and walk outside just to find a bathroom to use.

Auf keinen Fall länger als eine Nacht

Das Bett ist bequem und das Zentrum ist mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Kostenfreie Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.

Die Bilder aus der Anzeige sind weit entfernt von der Realität. Die Sauberkeit lässt wirklich zu wünschen übrig. Unter unserem Bett war eine dicke Staubschicht. Auch auf dem Bett und dem Boden war Staub. Die Möbel sind weitestgehend abgenutzt. Beim Betreten der Unterkunft lagen benutze Putzlappen und Küchenzubehör mitten auf der Treppe verteilt. Wir wurden per Mail über Booking von unserem Gastgeber gebeten eine Bewertung von 8 bis 10 abzugeben. Bei dem Mangel an Sauberkeit für uns sehr unverständlich. Wir sind froh das es nur eine Nacht war. Die Unterkunft würden wir trotz des unschlagbaren Preises nicht weiterempfehlen.

Der Preis ist unschlagbar. Die Unterkunft ist mit dem Bus gut erreichbar.

Das Bett ist durchgelegen, ebenso wie die Couch im gemeinschaftlich nutzbaren Teil. Die Küche ist nur wenig einladend. Wer günstig in Vancouver übernachten möchte und über die weniger guten Umstände wegsieht, ist jedoch hier gut bedient.

Good if you are wanting an inexpensive short stay

We needed a place we could come in and sleep as we were on a 13hr over night flight from nz. Reading the reviews l wasn't expecting anything great and l wasn't disappointed, it was very basic but bed very comfortable and the price was very reasonable

The whole property needs a good do over and Lisa has started with new flooring, kitchen bench and sink, she needs to address the cupboards now and lawns needed a good mow as looked very unloved

It was fine probably wouldn’t go again

I liked the location it wasn’t too far from the center of the city.

The owner was very blunt and curt and was not very nice at all. It was hard to know how to check in and check out since those details were not given. The house smelled like cigarette smoke.

Where do I start… the description on the website did not reflect what I booked. With just a quick drop off…. I was able to tell this place is not going to be good. I contacted booking.com and tried to rebook another reservation elsewhere, but they were not able to help me. They continued to tell me to call the number in the Netherland. The kitchen looked dingy, the bed was very uncomfortable, no flow of air in the bedroom even with the window open, every time I used the bathroom I had to wipe the seat in addition I used my own hand soap as the one that was provided was disgusting also had to grab the paper towel from the kitchen to dry my hands and turn off the water in the bathroom. This property was definitely a bachelor style setting. This home was very awful/awkward/disappointing… it was not cluttered at all just disgusting. The place did not look clean, the bed and sheets were horrible, the amenities (fan and washer) that were stated were not there. I booked the room with a private bath but it was a shared bath. Overall we did not feel comfortable at this location. Airbnb has been great, but wanted to try something different. This is our first time booking Booking.com and will never again.

整體的環境不乾淨，一進門就有刺鼻的奇怪味道，很不好聞。可以理解房子比較老舊，但看起來沒有在維護，清潔很隨便，房間天花板有蜘蛛網，床鋪非常皺還很不乾淨，上面都有一些棉絮、頭髮⋯讓人無法舒適的睡覺！青年旅館還比較乾淨。這次訂三晚，勉強第一天

Absolutely awful and completely run down

The neighborhood is run down as is the house. Lightbulbs didn't work, sheets looked questionable, bathroom was dirty. When we arrived there were numerous dogs running around and the entire building smelled like animal urine. We stayed for 5 mins before deciding to cut our losses on the non refundable cost and found somewhere else to stay. I would absolutely not recommend staying here.

Choose the largest and ensuite bedroom, and check bus information.

This is similar to an Air BnB. There are 3 rooms upstairs. There was a shared open lounge with massive TV and a kitchen with large shared fridge and assorted cooking and crockery equipment. We had not realised til after buying some food that needed to go into the large oven that the oven control knob was missing; however, there was a microwave sized oven that we were able to cook the food in, in relays. There was a dishwasher but no washing machine. A large pile of clean towels was in the lounge for using. The 2 smaller rooms looked to be small and shared a bathroom. We had the good sized ensuite room at the back - and which must have been cooler (our first few days were very hot). There was no a/c, just open windows with mosquito netting, but Yan said we could borrow the tower fan from the unused lounge. There was a very large bed, a large walk in wardrobe/ closet, comfortable large sofa and big coffee table. We were not able to make the TV work but managed with the wifi. Reviews had written of the place being unclean. The main areas were fine but, for instance, the lightbulbs inside the big bedside lamp, and area between the bedside table and wall, had thick dust and which we cleaned ourselves. We never met our hostess Yan, though she responded to most of our messages. She and her family apparently lived in a bungalow across the yard. This is quite a long way from Downtown. There is one very nearby small convenience shop and all other shops or cafés etc, are at last a 10 minute walk up the hill opposite or along McGill St to the junction at its end. There is parking on the street outside. We had chosen here partly as reviews said that the no. 4 bus ran straight to Downtown Vancouver from virtually outside the property. It does - a depressing route through a considerable section of homeless people living on the rundown streets.

Bed sheets and pillows were dirty and had stains on them. I had to sleep over the covers. Poor communication close to check in time.

Alojamiento cómodo y bien comunicado

La tranquilidad del barrio donde está ubicada la casa. El transporte al centro de la ciudad. La parada de autobús está muy cercana. Al lado de la casa se encuentra un supermercado con productos básicos. Aunque no vi a la propietaria, la comunicación por medio de la mensajería de Booking fue rápida y cordial. El precio es bueno.

La casa reúne condiciones mejorables para el alojamiento. Se necesita una limpieza más a fondo de todas las instalaciones. La ropa de cama y toallas están muy desgastadas. Aunque está anunciado en Booking, ya no realizan el servicio de recoger o llevar al aeropuerto.

Good location, good price, ideal for a short stay.

Good location - easy bus link between property and downtown Vancouver. Large room with ensuite, huge bed and very comfortable. Tea and coffee in kitchen. Microwave/kettle/hob/oven available to use. Lots of shampoo and body wash provided. Early check in allowed. Good price.

Needs a deep clean - dusty and hairs around. Mugs/cups not clean. No plug for bath, so even though it's advertised as a bath, it can't be used. Wifi slow. Couldn't work out how to change TV channel. Host asked for 10/10 rating.

Great house with communal kitchen.

This was a really lovely place to stay at the end of our Canadian trip. It's a little out of the centre but easily reached by an uber. The communal kitchen is a great idea.

It was a little difficult to find parking near the house.

Pleasant but overpriced

Nice location out of downtown. Nice bus to North Vancouver for hikes and waterfront. Bus to downtown as goes through some jarring areas. Uber around $15 downtown. The room had a comfortable bed but was very warm room. But overpriced for what you get.

Wasn't the cleanest, small bathroom shared between two rooms so if someone is having shower bathroom is off limits. Room very warm which would be good for winter maybe. Host pushy to give 10/10 rating.

A good clean up needed.

Good proximity to Grouse Mountain, Stanley Park and Lynn Canyon.

On the main road (noisy), kitchen cupboards poorly stocked and pretty dirty. Cleaning products left around on tables. Back yard has lots of rubbish strewn around. We tidied up the bin area as we found a condom wrapper on the ground next to the bins. TV in lounge room not working. Surprise visit from downstairs tenants (not secure).

Was a decent price and I am sure the owners mean well but could use a bit more care and organization.

Quaint little house with shared living and kitchen. We had our own bathroom which was nice. Access was easily gained through code sent by owner

Found the floor was sticky and rules were to take shoes off. Flip flops were provided but I went in sock feet and found I stuck to the floor and that my socks ended up black. Was unsure of the tea towels in the kitchen cupboard as they were not folded and felt crunchy.

Best shower I’ve ever had while travelling! Easy check in, cosy lounge and tidy room. Short walk to park with beach and pool

Mattress is lumpy with big hole in it so sleep along wall side (room c) All doors squeak so impossible to be quiet for those arriving late or leaving early. Please oil the hinges!

Shared kitchen had everything that you need. Large balcony to have breakfast on. Good size room with private bathroom. Quiet location but with corner shop 1 minute away. Main shops, bars and restaurants 10 minutes walk. Bus stop outside for easy and cheap transport to Vancouver.
