About this house rental

Cozy newly renovated river house with ample entertainment space inside and out. Large covered deck with wrap around porch and a beautiful view of the Ohio River. One mile from Horseshoe Casino and just minutes from entertainment and amenities of downtown New Albany, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. Less than 10 minutes from a local winery, two breweries, and Chariot Run Golf Course. Perfect for large groups or a romantic weekend getaway!

I have a Bonus Bedroom available, that is detached from the house. It has a queen size bed, dresser, hotel type heater / AC , and a view of the river. I charge $100 for that extra bedroom, for your entire stay. Let me know if you think you may need that and I can send a request on here. It would be great for a couple or a single who wants a little more privacy. It is accessible from the back deck overlooking the river.

This house was perfect for my friend’s bachelor weekend trip! Plenty of room on the property for hanging out, and everything looked very well taken care of. Communication with the host was very easy, and the location of the house was perfect (right down the road from the Caesars casino, 15-20 mins from downtown New Albany). Overall a great experience!

Loved the back deck area looking at river spent the mornings before we went places and the evenings once we came back on that deck. House is about 10 minutes from New Albany and 20 from Louisville. It was a peaceful quiet location to chill before we went to the National Archery tournament and other activities we packed in. Host was very helpful and and communicated very timely throughout the entire process.

We stayed here to celebrate my 13th leap year birthday with my kids and my grandson. The house was perfect for us. My son and his wife really like being able to stay in the basement with the baby. It gave them plenty of room. The jets do not work in master bath. I was a little upset about that as I was looking forward to relaxing in there. The house is very close to the casino. We had a blast there. Overall this a great place and we will be back.

Beautiful location. An absolute Hidden Gem right down the road from the Horseshoe Casino. Loved drinking coffee on the porch watching the barges on the river. Beautiful set up. Plenty of space to crash a small group.

This property/house is a true gem. We were there for a girls' weekend and everything about this beautiful home met our expectations. It is clean and spacious. Everyone slept very well in the comfortable beds. The deck is the most wonderful feature. We spent hours on the deck, playing games, having cocktails and appetizers, and either watching the beautiful sunrise, barges going by, or the sunlight dancing on the water. A path and steps lead down to the water's edge. This home is in a rural area where you can just listen to the sounds of nature, but close to activities in Louisville and New Albany. We all enjoyed our stay and would book this great home again in a heartbeat.

We booked this property for spending some time with friends. It was a nice place. The property was spacious, having a nice view of ohio river. There is a casino nearby but we didnt go there. Kitchen is properly stuffed. The only thing which didn't work for us was the internet speed. It was a mifi...owner mentioned it but we missed to read this in the instruction. overall a good experience.

The view of the property is truly breathtaking. The house was very roomy and furniture in living, outdoors and dining comfortable. We did not use the lower level because the main floor was accommodating. The location was private but felt very safe. Internet worked very well. I would recommend this property for all types of visitors.

We came down for the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville and wanted something quiet and away from the city. The property did not disappoint! Beautiful river view and quiet location. House was very close to the casino where we had a delicious meal at Jack Binion’s steakhouse. The host was very helpful and the house was well stocked with everything we needed. Our only wish is that we had more downtime and better weather to truly enjoy the peacefulness of this property. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!

We headed to this spot with an oncoming winter storm that changed our travel plans a bit twice. Our host was extremely accommodating in adjusting with us based on the weather forcing change - and oh it was great to have access to the garage with freezing rain, sleet and ice coming down. When you need a cabin, but don’t want to be surrounded by logs, this place is wonderfully comfortable and met all of the needs of my wife and I. The pictures accurately portray a well appointed very pleasant space. Rental kitchens never have exactly what you need, but with a little creativity it worked fine. New Albany is close enough to enjoy some great downtown spots. We like places on the water and while it was too cold to spend time on the great deck, if they let us come back in the spring or fall you’ll find us out there with our books

Property was extremely clean with an amazing lot. Deck overlooking the Ohio river is incredible, and we really enjoyed ourselves with the basketball goal. Went to the Chariot Run Golf Course then a couple bourbon tours, but it was an amazing trip. I would really recommend staying here. Dustin was very communicative and great

The house was great. However, it would have been nice to know that the wifi was capped. We apparently used up our wifi on the first night, and couldn't watch TV the rest of our stay... mind you, this was a golf trip and we couldn't even watch the Masters until it came on CBS later in the day (antenna). Logistically, we had a huge challenge try to arrange transportation into Louisville. This could have been more covid related than anything, but expecting to have quick access and reasonable costs to get into the city was not the case. Outside of the Dollar General, the closest real grocery store was over 30 minutes away.

We booked this vacation so we could spend a day at Holiday World. We enjoyed Holiday World but also really enjoyed the home and surrounding area. The Ohio River had barges to watch and we even kayaked in the river. We enjoyed traveling to Corydon and to Huber's winery & farm market.

This lil gem was just what we needed!

A group of us stayed here for bourbon & beyond and it was just what we needed! The house is exactly as pictured but even better! Dustin was a great host and very prompt to answer all of our questions. We brought our kayaks and was able to utilize the Ohio river almost everyday of our stay:) we will def be back and recommend this spot if you like to be out in nature and away from the city! Thanks a lot for our wonderful stay❤️
