Könnyen megközelíthető, saját föld alatti parkolója van(fizetős). A svéd asztalos reggeli izletes és változatos. A személyzet udvarias és segítőkész.
Az egyik ágy nagyon nyikorgott. a klima berendezés hangos volt.

My recent stay was remarkably pleasant, despite an initial hiccup upon arrival. I was frustrated to find no available parking slots, which led to a moment where I considered cancelling my reservation. However, the staff at the hotel handled the situation with exceptional grace and efficiency. They quickly resolved the issue by arranging a parking spot for me, even though it was my oversight for not reserving one in advance – a detail that was clearly communicated on the booking page.
The kindness and proactive assistance from the hotel staff turned a potentially negative experience into a positive one, showing their commitment to guest satisfaction. This helpful attitude was evident throughout my stay.
As for the accommodations, the room met all my expectations. It was impeccably clean, and the minibar was well-stocked. Overall, Hotel Mediterran proved to be a perfect choice, blending excellent customer service with high-quality amenities. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and comfortable experience.

Hotel Mediterran helped us out big time on the 24th Dec!
We had troubles with our booked apartment somewhere else which was that disgusting we were unable to stay.
So, at 2:30am on 24th Dec we called up Hotel Mediterran about room availability. Receptionist was extremely helpful (Sandor?) even though the super early morning call.
Long story short we booked our stay at Hotel Mediterran due to the honest and friendly staff, the affordability and the quality of the room, facilities and the whole place.
We can highly recommend this hotel to everyone who travels to Budapest.
Good location, very low noise (barely heard the huge main road close by), close to public transports, central location with car, non-stop reception, walking distance to decent shopping centre, etc...
If you are cheap like me and not willing to pay extra for the hotel`s garage, parking can be a bit tricky....but that`s my fault.

Comfortable room in nice area with easy access to city centre. The breakfast was very good also. The staff polite and with desire to help and solve problems. Due to a problem with the booking, they were polite enough to offer as a bottle of champagne and parking free of charge
There was problem with electricity. The safety was falling down. The staff was coming to fix it its time but it was a bit inconvenient

Nice staff. Cleanliness (e.g., during breakfasts, tablecloths changed for each newcomer). Breakfasts. Close to the Buda center, either by trams or easily and safely by walking in 30 minutes through nice streets and parks. Good and cheap (compared to city center) restaurant 50 m from the hotel (on the corner at the tram stop).
Noise from the street (trams particularly).

Nothing
You can hear the noise from cars in street , no facilities or gym available,it’s no way 4 star hotel , internationally it’s worth 2 star , the receptionist is not professional, paying 100 Euro and you even don’t find a bottle of drink water in the room , Sauna !! you have to pay 6 Euro to open it for you !!! beds are not comfortable, all in all I advice people to look somewhere else in Budapest

The location was good, not so far from the city center. Using the 8E,112 or 110 you can arrive in 10min in the city center.
It was clean, the bed comfortable, the room spacious.
Nothing to specify

Location was perfect, so close to the bus and tram stops. Staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us with directions. Very clean.
Not enough tea and coffee in room but not too much of an issue.

I loved that the hotel had a homely and inviting atmosphere.
The property itself is great but all properties needs some TLC and maintenance to be carried out regularly in order to kept everything to a good standard and running smoothly. There were a few small things but nothing that altered the friendliness, efficiency and homely feel to the hotel itself.

the locality and staff was great. i appreciate their nice behaviour.
It is really old hotel with old equipment, for sure it need huge reconstraction, also the barthroom. It would be fine, if there is not beat-up bathtub, but it is beat-up and with curtain.. I do not think, it is hygienic.. the breakfast buffet consists everything what buffet should offer you for breakfast. but the way of serving was not pleasent.. please there is so many options how to do the buffet, that looks amazing.. every day sousages and scrambled eggs. 3 types of ham, and cheese, and small bowl of cucumbers and tomatoes. at least you should do some changes for hot dishes every day..

We stayed in the room overlooking the street, and the noise was disturbing (cars, trams could be heard all day and night)

Good location for gettion around with public transport. I had a clean and reasonably modern room, and since I asked for a quiet one, it was on the rear, so had no problem with traffic noise. The AC worked as expected, and kept out the July heat, even on the top floor.
The front of the hotel is undoubtly noisy. The little fridge in the room functions as a minibar, with practically no free space left for other uses.

Easy acces from the highway, easy to park , friendly staff especially Szandor the night watch was very friendly and nice , the kind of person one would like to meet after a long drive.
5.0 / 10.0
Proximity of the place.
Not clear instruction. I was asked to choose netwer twin bed or one standard double bed. I chose one double bed but I got the twin. Before that there was massage if you want to change the room additional money you have to pay. That is cheating in my book.

At the check in they were helpful with parking wich really helped.
We came familiy with 4 children and they put us in two different room far away. So unfortunately we split up so our stay at the hotel. It was inconvenient. I know next time to check out before, and still when a family order two rooms with small kids
(as writtten the small age on the reservation, ) I would expect to put them next to each other.
