Shepperton- a delightful stay.

Asked for possible early check-in, the check-in staff accommodated me as I was an IHG member. Pleasant surprise. Clean room, comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and perfect way to start the day.

Not a didn't like- rather a suggestion. I had a banging headache and approached the reception desk requesting painkillers as I didn't have any. I politely explained this and asked for some and the answer was a straight no. Might I suggest this specific member of staff say- I don't have any sorry, but I'll see what I can do... just a thought.

Nice hotel, good facilities.

Breakfast and dinner very good, staff polite and helpful. Nice location plenty of parking.

First night we were given a double room instead of a twin, and the hotel was full, so could not change until the next day, but the staff were helpful, and the information received from booking.com did say standard room only and not stating twin required, so to be honest not the hotels fault.

Enjoyable after 20 years of staying there

The location, Breakfast, price and many of the staff etc etc

The bedroom was too hot with inefficient air conditioning and problems with the safe and room keys. The evening meal menu is not to our liking and has been very much the same for the last 2 years.

Nice clean hotel and the staff were very nice and helpful. Plenty of parking.

It was clean and adequate, dinner was fairly basic as I’m vegan and there was any choice. 1 starter, I main. 1 sweet but non available. Breakfast was the same. I had mushrooms on toast. There were no tomatoes which I would have liked. No vegan yogurt. There was fruit and cereal though. Far better choice for people who are not vegan so please don’t let this put you off from staying unless you are vegan

Many of the Restaurant staff were poor, Often tables left uncleared, with no set tables ready to sit at. Was given wrong menu,, when we asked for inclusive menu. Was never mentioned until meal finished Then made to pay for their mistake!! Very poor

Lovely room, hotel and staff but breakfast would have been better elsewhere.

Room was lovely - bed very big and comfortable. Bathroom was great too. Location was good and the air conditioning was bliss in such hot weather.

The breakfast was not the best. Cereal out in uncovered bowls with people coughing over it put me right off. Fruit was very boring with little choice. No mushrooms or tomatoes in the hot breakfast trays. Juices were all watered down and horrible. Even though we came down an hour before breakfast finished, there were no crumpets, croissants or pancakes! How does that happen. Also only white bread left which I can’t stand. Wouldn’t have breakfast here again.

Great Location and proximity to the airport, very helpful staff and delicious breakfast selection .

The downside of thebathroom door are peeled off and it looked rather tacky for the hotel of that status ,my guest noticed and commented .it will be nice if the shower has a full glass cover as water kept spilling on the floor

Emplacement et tranquillité. Mais un rafraichissement des équipements serait souhaitable.

La situation de l'hôtel dans le Surrey à deux pas d'un bras de la Tamise. Sa proximité avec le charmant village de Walton on Thames et de ses promenades au bord de l'eau, sans oublier ses Pubs ! La restauration de l'hôtel très correcte. L'accès à la piscine et aux installations fitness .

L'hôtel vieillit ! Un problème d'entretien des équipements de chambres semble s'accentuer : par exemple les thermostats chauffage/clim sont souvent défectueux ce qui nécessite l'installation de chauffage d'appoint ! Le ménage parfois minimaliste !

It’s was exactly what we needed for the stay

Good size room for a family.

Not enough pillows. 5 pillows given for 4 people staying in the on the room.

Excellent hotel in a good location with great facilities.

The room was of a good size and comfort. The temperature controls on the heating system worked very well which is becoming something of a rarity these days. The restaurant has a fairly extensive dinner menu and although I arrived at the hotel very late, the staff were very accommodating. Free parking with no height restrictions was also extremely useful.

I am genuinely struggling to think of anything I didn't like. If I was going to be picky I would like to see clearer signage from the Car Park to the reception but other than that this is a good hotel.

Right location for a revisit to previous home area.

We enjoyed a short comfortable night in luxury.

It was a well equipped and organized hassle free hotel. It was a real plesure to spend the night at a 4star hotel. The fitness center was well equipped, swimming pool water was warm and enjoyable. The breakfast was superb.

Some of the staff spoke in poor broken English, they were difficult to understand as they also spoke quickly.

A great weekend with some special friends in a cracking value hotel.

We had an excellent stay. Room was comfortable with an excellent shower. Breakfast was really good along with the service from team. A shout out especially to Julie and Alison on that front. Their very good at keeping the whole team and the clientele motivated. Definitely morning girls!

Terribly upsetting and exhausting, highly avoid at all costs

The bed was clean

Front desk staff incredibly rude. Unhelpful. Sarcastic. Insulting. Purposely stretching check in time . We were made to feel that we were wrong booking on line with booking . Com . No respect for travellers . Lectured about our request to check in early . Refused to help refused to allow cancellation . Told to drive around and check back hourly after a nine hour overnight flight . Would avoid at all costs .

I would happily stay at this hotel again.

Very warm welcome from Kane on Reception and also from the lovely lady hosting the breakfast area on 9 October; quiet location but within walking distance of the river; food very good ..pizza in the bar in the evening and the buffet breakfast the following morning. A lovely terrace area to sit and enjoy drinks etc.

Twin beds were pushed together. We expected two beds in a room not two single beds pushed together. We separated the beds a little but a shame the room wasn’t set up for a proper twin room.

The trainee receptionist was first class! Helpful, polite, welcoming!

The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment! It's tatty & maintenance is poor. There have clearly been many water leaks where the paintwork hasn't been replaced, this is both in the public areas and the bedrooms.
