Great stay, comfortable, great location would definitely stay again.

Location was great, short walk to the mall! The heater was on for us on arrival, it was even turned back on for us after we had been out for the day which was awesome! There was a porter cot provided for our baby. The owner had a cute little dog named Skittle. On departure there was 2 bottles of warm water for us to de-ice our window screen which was great, we didn’t have to wait for ages for it to defrost with a baby.

All the windows were wet from the heater being on and the cold weather outside I assume, and the bathroom was wet after having a shower, even with the window open.

Overall, the stay was good. It is accessible in all the places we wanted to go.

The Staff was friendly. Welcome drinks were served and we appreciate it. Not all Motels would offer the same.

I felt that the sheets and pillow cases were not newly washed. The towels have off smell as well. Though they look clean, I prefer the smell would been better.

The motel was adjacent to beautiful Riccarton House & Bush which we thoroughly enjoyed. Also not far from the airpor

The hosts were welcoming, helpful, & accommodating. The space was well-sized and well-appointed, with everything we could need in bedroom, kitchen & bathroom.

On the second night we had to ask other guests to please keep quiet, as a group gathered in the courtyard between their room & ours to ‘party’ with loud voices & music. I spoke with them about 10.15pm, after which they obliged & went indoors. I informed them of our need to sleep in preparation for an early morning flight.

We enjoyed our stay and I would be happy to stay there again.

What a great place to stay. Very handy to Riccarton Mall and the bed was firm, but comfortable.

It was hot and we wanted to sleep with the window open. The blind kept banging against the window frame, which was a little annoying. Everything else was great.

Pleasant

Location amazing close to shops and supermarket, spacious for a family. Laundry facilities and they provided washing powder. Air conditioner was great on hot day.

Maintenance issues such as carpet coming up, sealant around bathroom coming off. Lots of dust around skirtings such as in toilet and pockets of areas not cleaned 100% such as shower. No tin opener so they provided one but it didn’t work so ended up using a knife

Convenient stay

Kitchen was very well-equipped with a full size refrigerator and dish washer. Laundry room came with easy to use washer and tumble dryer. Dying rack was handy for drying laundry that you do not want to put in the dryer. Short walk to the supermarket, shops and eateries.

Nothing much, but would be nice if the beds were firmer. Closets a little tired looking, but still functional

It felt like home away from home :)

The house was daylit and naturally ventilated with windows open. Very homely feel. Short walking distance to supermarket, mall and McD's, yet quiet at night for rest. Also walking distance to farmer's market.

The kitchen could do with more appliances and perhaps more complete set of cutlery as we had to mix and match for our group of 5. There were also some instructions on cooking smell so we were quite conscious of that.

We have stayed at this motel many times over the last several years and will continue to do so.

This motel is always clean, the staff friendly and accommodating. Its location on Riccarton Road makes it close to town, park and hospital and malls. Every time we stay there our room is always well presented, clean and very satisfactory.

Overall a nice clean, comfortable space not too far from the CBD.

The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. All facilities were there that I could have wanted including microwave, iron, hairdryer, tv etc. The coffee plunger with sachet of coffee was nice. Free cookies with the tea/coffee.

The location was a little further from town than I would have preferred, but it was on a main road and easy to navigate into the CBD. The room was upstairs with no lift. Milk was just in the little sachets rather than a half litre container. There was no shower cap and soap and shampoo were in dispensers, so no freebies.

Excellent! "Location was great.Hosts were amazing friendly and ,good at communicating .The room had everything we needed,clean and tidy, plenty of space for my family. Felt like home. Definitely coming back again, I highly recommend."

I really enjoyed staying here and will do so on my next trip.

Was welcomed on arrival in a very friendly and courteous manner, room was ready and was as promised in the advertising. Bed was very comfortable and room was very clean with good heating. Early checkout was trouble free.

Spa bath water had a slight musty smell to it but a minor problem.
