God frokost.

Splendid views - We tried 2 flats and one had beautiful views on the Arctic sea. The other one was much less attractive.
Well equipped and comfortable flats
Excellent dinner and breakfast onsite
One of the flat’s large windows were very dirty which did not correspond to the level of the hotel.
We could not book the kayaks because of a lack of personnel.
Expensive hot tub

The view and the cabins
The breakfast in the restaurant was a little disappointing as the buffet stands in a small corner although the restaurant room is big and full (we guess they had at list one big group traveling in a tour bus staying at the hotel so it felt more like a busy cantine …)

The placement was very beautiful and an amazing view
The price of the taxi to the ferry shuttle
And the system obliging us to arrive before 6pm the day before going in the ferry to Andenes (which leaves at 11am)
They don’t offer any other taxi to drop the car in the line after 6pm. Which means you should spend the whole day waiting in the line for the ferry leaving at 7pm the day after instead of 11am

We got upgraded from a suite to a deluxe room and we scored! It was heavenly! Our bed looked out to the ocean and mountains. We wished we could have stayed a second night. Our best accommodation in Norway! I would go back in a heartbeat. Only problem is the cost of a deluxe room is prohibitive. The hotel saved us when it told us to leave our car the night before the ferry to Vesterlen. There just isn't enough space on the ferry for the volume of cars.
Breakfast could seriously improve. Also, the resort nickel and dimes you for everything. It should not cost over $80 to use a hottub.

The location and wild life nearby, modern appartment with splendid view, experienced guides
Owners of appartment upstairs were very noisy all day and late into the night

Apartment with sea view. Good for taking rest.

Beautiful views from the room. Spa experience was excellent with the hot tub and sauna. The food was definitely worth getting.
Beds weren’t very comfortable. Would have appreciated higher quality toiletries.

Serenity. The place is very quiet, picturesque
Breakfast selection. We went in end Oct/Early Nov and it's low season, with very few cottage being rented out. We turned up for breakfast 1 hour after the breakfast starts and to our surprise all food were kept back to the kitchen. They did heat up and serve the breakfast again for us. On second day, what's served for breakfast was obviously lesser compared to first day, it's left over from first day, and then third day, the whole breakfast session was closed. No egg and bacon, no more salmon, only some bread and cold cuts. We understand it's low season but we are paying full price nevertheless?

The hotel staff were kind and professional. We felt welcomed. The units were large, clean, and had beautiful views. I highly recommend this place

Senja and especially Hamn i Senja was magical. We felt that we were literally at the edge of the world. It was so serene and beautiful, and definitely the highlight of our Norway trip. This is saying a lot as we went to Senja at the end of a 3 week trip which included a week on the Norway in a Nutshell route, a week in Lofoten islands and then a week in Tromso and Senja. And when we were in Senja the weather was cloudy and rainy, so I can only imagine what it would be like on a sunny day. The apartment was spacious, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included and pretty good as well. Staff is friendly and they have some activities which we didn't try and we had very limited time and cold weather.
Minor points really but things that could be better - 1) The beds are very small, not sure why since they have space. It felt like we were sleeping on a train berth. There's also a ledge above the bed in lieu of side tables but that means you've to be cautious when walking up in the middle of the night to not bump your head on it 2) The washbasin in the bathroom also has a ledge above it to keep stuff. Makes it very hard to wash your face without hitting yourself or splashing water on the floor. 3) The heater temperature can only be changed from the reception. It was set at 24, which was fine initially but got very warm next day so we had to get it set to 22 (we were there in late Sep, when outside temp were 5-7 deg Cel). 4) Would have been convenient if they provided some olive oil. They do have small pouches of salt and pepper. We were there only for 2 nights so it didn't make sense for us to buy a bottle of olive oil. There's no grocery very closeby so we ended up making do without. Perhaps a common pantry at the reception with some frequently used items may be helpful.

We stayed in a separate cabin with a seaview for three nights. The house was perfect with an incredible view and very clean.
Ricardo the manager of the restaurant is a top guy who finds a solution for every question.
Two small separate beds but hey who complains about that.

Perfect location, peaceful setting, great staff
The bedroom would benefit from thicker blinds

Location, location, location: absolutely beautiful. Easy parking, huge room/suite with enormous windows in lounge onto the fjord, great view, very comfortable. Restaurant / bar combo was excellent for evening meal and breakfast in the morning.
Nothing - flawless experience.

Great Hotel with incredible views! Amazing location and the staff was amazing!
I would have placed the blackout courtains in the windows instead of around the bed, like making a nest or cocoon.. but that’s my opinion :)

Beautiful location and delicious breakfast.
Dinner at the restaurant was okay. Our room was looking back towards a back lane, quite loud at some times.

amazing location which is simply stunningly beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful

Location was incredible!
Room was quite small and uneventful, especially considering all the beautiful accommodation in the other flats.

We have stayed before. We use it as a base for my photography. I likesd that the staff were able to look up which suite we'd enjoyed before and give us that again; the breakfasts were very good. We only had dinner once but it was good. Staff were helpful when we wanted to extend our stay. The kitchen was fine for our self-catering. It was really good and we'd happily go again
It was a quiet period so not too many staff, , and it snowed quite a bit. It would have been nice if some of the snow could have been cleared to reduce danger od slipping on the ramps, paths and stairways. But we managed anyway.

The site is superb. The conception of the flats is very good. The presence of a restaurant is also a big plus
All the appreciations above would have been in the far right box if the heating system had been normal. You can't regulate in the main room of your flat the temperature, it is done centrally by somebody. When we entered the flat the temperature was not bearable; on the phone the somebody acknowledged a set temperature of 25°C!! said she was reducing it to 20 and that we could open all windows to reduce the temperature, what we did. We went to the restaurant and when we came back the temperature was again in stratospheric values......
