Lovely adult only hotel in a great location. Rooms are small but are decorated to a high standard and very clean. Free beach towels, bag and water bottles all nice touches. Complimentary room available to book on last day to shower. Breakfast good. Pool was always quiet and nice if you want a change from the beach across the road.

First thing to mention is the staff, can’t do enough to ensure you have a fab stay. Everywhere is kept clean and tidy.
Nothing to mention and we would if there was anything to say

The staff was wonderful, but Carlos was exceptional. Everyone was so nice, and the breakfast was absolutely lovely. It was a great location. The restaurant right outside of the hotel is delightful.
rooms are really small.

Beautiful rooftop pool, small but very cool and refreshing after a day out. Very helpful staff and loved the pool towels you could just pick up and change in reception at any time. Nice breakfast at the café.. Perfect location, right on the beach close to center.
The wineglasses in the room was not changed after use. The room was smal with little space for the suitcasees

The staff were absolutely incredible and the best part about our stay. Carlos helped us so much with tips for our cycling route, the young receptionist helped by booking our restaurant reservations and arranging a takeaway breakfast, and the housekeeping did a great job. The beach was 10 metres from the door, breakfast was really nice, and we got a free cycle water bottle - such a nice touch. The room was nice and beds were comfy. But the staff really made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you!
There was effectively no shade around the pool on the roof (except for a weird slatted umbrella that didn’t shade effectively) so I couldn’t spend any time there, which was really a shame.

The location is good in that it is right by the beach and the promenade. The road in front is pedestrianised.
The beach is not good. It is narrow but, worse, you cannot actually swim in the sea. The water is very shallow as far as the buoyed swimming area, and even beyond. You can just about float above the corally/rocky bottom. There is a small plunge pool on top of the roof and sun loungers. This would be a very nice spot except they play terrible ambient music from two speakers which completely spoils the atmosphere, unless you are a fan of ambient/supermarket music. They would not turn it off for me during our short stay. I think they may have offered to turn it down but I did not go back to the roof. Likewise they have a really second rate playlist (and it is very rare that you are ever presented with something you want to hear) in the otherwise very nice cafe which doubles as the hotel’s restaurant. They refused point blank to turn down the music for me. I have never come across such a blank refusal to make any concession at all to a person who really really does not like bad covers of Anglo/American 90s pop tunes (whilst staying in a Majorcan hotel). I don’t think the Goleta is really a hotel as such, it is more of a glorified B&B with a reception and a cafe which is more of a public facing business than part of a hotel. The staff were pleasant but, as I say, I have never been treated so badly when trying to ask for music to be turned down. Music that was completely inappropriate to the setting in the first place. Why does hospitality do sound so badly? The included breakfast was good - if you didn’t mind the sound, although ironically they are not allowed to play music through the outdoor speakers before 10 am - perhaps that’s because the authorities, if not the hoteliers, recognise that people prefer a peaceful start to the day and that the sounds of the sea are enough. They dealt with me as a customer really badly when it would have cost them nothing to be a little more accommodating.

location and the hotel in general
9.0 / 10.0
The reception staff were exceptional. Every single person we dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Also the breakfast had lots of varied options for different tastes in our group.
The rooms and the hotel generally was very clean and modern.
The air conditioning was inconsistant. One side of the bed was cold and the other side hot (due to the location of the A/C fan).
The room was a little smaller than we would of liked.
Very limited English TV channels compared to other languages.

Clean room, friendly staff in restaurant, nice breakfast, good location with sea view, free beach towels & umbrellas - my overall stay was quite nice… until check-out :/
Everyone in the hotel was so nice (they helped me when asked for iron, heater - as the AC heating option wasn’t working, especially the staff during our breakfast.
Only two not-so-pleasant experience:
1. I’ve been kicked out from the room at 12.07 - a man from the reception was knocking on my door saying that they called me and I haven’t picked it up, but I mentioned the phone didn’t ring. We were almost one of the few guests in the hotel, so didn’t quite understand the attitude, as it’s usually given 10-15 min buffer when you check-out. Not really nice ending to a lovely stay. He was also a bit rude when I handed my room card.
2. Misleading information regarding the bus to Palm: I’ve been told that bus passes from the roundabout by the port and when I walked there, I found out (luckily) from the tourist info center that I have to walk 10-15 min as the bus station is further away. I was almost going to miss the bus as they do not run quite often. Info center was quite surprised when I mentioned them it was my hotel that gave me this info.
