My's Homestay gave us an unforgettable experience with a breathtaking view of the rice fields. The food was delicious, and the trekking tour with their amazing guide was a highlight of our stay. The location, nestled in the heart of nature, was perfect for relaxation. However, keep in mind that having a scooter is necessary if you need services. Overall, highly recommended for those seeking an authentic homestay experience in Sapa.

Two amazing people run this place with the cutest kids. I stayed 4 nights and I can't recommend this place enough. Everything was perfect, so peaceful, food was great and they will help you with everything. Also the view from bungalow was amazing. 10/10

The staff were amazing and helped make our stay easy, calm and enjoyable! They helped us to organise tours, transport and the restaurant food was to die for! If you are looking for a rustic, beautiful, calm and accommodating accomodation in the middle of the beautiful views of Sapas surrounding villages, this is for sure where you should book

Zu and her husband Tam were so welcoming and friendly to us and our friends. Tam used to be a chef in Hanoi and cooked amazing food and some delicious veggie options. They let us check in early, did laundry so quickly, made us breakfast even though we slept in! Tam took us on a fun and challenging trek. Other days they helped us to arrange activities to do like the herbal baths and motorbike rental. Family dinner felt like we were at home. The location is outside of Sapa town in the mountains so it’s a lovely rural stay. Value for money was the best we’ve had in Vietnam - I loved it!
The bed was very comfortable, with an electric blanket for extra warmth. Some of the best nights sleep we’ve had on our trip.
The weather gets cold in the day and the accommodation is quite minimal. But it was such a pleasure meeting Zu and Tam that the trip felt really magical. They are wonderful, as is their English. Truly special stay.
The humidity makes the rooms a little damp, but what can you do when you’re in a cloud!

The view from the room was beautiful
You can hear the people in the neighbouring bungalow
The neighbouring bungalow’s ceiling light comes into your room when they turn it on - not good when you’re trying to sleep
In prior experience, a bungalow is not a shared building - I feel this may be false advertising
The location is really far from any eating options - might be okay if you ride scooters
The food onsite is not cheap

We loved staying here. The location is beautiful, quiet and serene. The scenery is stunning and there is wildlife everywhere.
The room has many personal touches and was very comfortable.
The family are very kind!
We enjoyed our trek in the beautiful surroundings.
Great atmosphere here.
Highly recommend!

A lovely wooden house in the middle of rice fields. The whole family is welcoming. The kids are sweet. They bring a youthful energy when they are around. You wake up to sound of the roosters and crickets. My offered a driver so you had a set rate for transportation from and to Sapa.
It isn't there fault and they do warn guests, but some guests are hard on the wooden upper floor so they are loud.

Can’t say enough about how much we loved this homestay. I’m writing this two weeks later and further into our trip — this was still the most wholesome and enjoyable.

This was one of the nicest stays in Vietnam. Located rural with breathtaking scenery. The owners are fabulous and take a lot of time to speak with us. They served up.some gorgeous hot pot food as the owner is also a trained chef. We did a lovely 1 day tour which we saw the culture in the community provided by the accomodation. Chilled bottles of beer sold also. Would definitely go back

Staying with Tom and Zu at their homestay with their family was wonderful. Delicious food, lovely view from the home and very peaceful. Tom brought us on a local hike and showed us the area and taught us about the black Hmong culture. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to experience a lovely stay and learn about the interesting Black Hmong culture. A true homestay in Sapa!
Nothing, it was great

A 40 min taxi from Sapa centre, which is nice because Sapa is very touristy.
Best sleep I've had in months! This place is super clean, beds are very comfortable and the owners are extremely sweet (and the kids are so cute). There was a big group the day I arrived in the main house, so they upgraded me massively - I was put in the best room while paying for one of the cheapest. They even let me extend that room at the same price. I ended up checking out and checking back in later the same day for a third night - the cheaper room was still extremely comfortable. Food is simple and tasty.
Trekking organised by this homestay is amazing too. I did two hikes with Khu, mountain view and village view. Both one-day hikes - the mountain one especially is no joke, 18k, lots of elevation, but Khu makes it look easy. Her English is amazing and she explains so much. I learned about harvesting rice, dyeing clothes with indigo, the culture and traditions of the Black Hmong people and more.
The homestay was lovely and I would recommend it even if you don't like trekking. But Khu is the reason why I will remember my stay. She was wonderful. This was the perfect way to relax after the intensity of the Ha Giang Loop.

The structure is located among the stunning rice fields and the hospitality of the family is outstanding.
A special notice for the trekking done with Lo Thi Khu, unforgettable experience

They are a wonderful family. We did a 6h trecking with them to non touristic spots with amazing landscapes.
Local vietnamese food really tasty

The staff working at My's were so friendly and welcoming during our entire stay, the views were incredible and our rooms were very comfy and clean. There's also areas outside to hang out during the day and nice walks in the area.
It is quite out of the way and there's no other restaurants nearby so expect to be eating all of your meals here! The food was great but there could have been a little more variation with vegetarian food.

Good location, in the Valley, calme, view on rice fields and moutains, very kind people, very clean !

Amazing place of a lovely local family that made the house by themselves.
If you want to live a real local experience in Sapa this is the best place. Astonishing view from the homestay. We recomend you to go on a hike organized by Thung. He explain a lot of interesting things about his tribe the black hmongs.
Peaceful place in the middle of nature .
All the family is amazing, they will help you and attend you in everything. Good food and breakfast. We stayed for 3 days but we would have loved to stay longer!
100% recomended ;)
Nothing,
We loved everything

We loved loved loved staying at My's Homestay. A pure gem of the Sapa region. My favourite experience in Vietnam. The family of 4, Zu and Thung (with adorable girls My and Vy) are an absolute delight and you immediately feel part of their family and village. They are teaching their daughters Vietnamese and English and there are lots of high-fives! We stayed for 2 nights in the lower rooms - 2 doubles with bathrooms, a family of 4 and we had an amazing time. The views of the paddy fields and rural activity from your balcony is so restful and stunning. We went on the day hike up into the villages and got to fullly experience the local culture, plants, customs and people. It was stinking hot, but we had lots of water and it was so worth it. We met with villagers making indigo dye, visted a wonderful bamboo forest and a welcome waterfall. The stories of life for the H'Mong people were probably the highlight. So interesting. These people are so genuine and offer an amazing experience outside of the touristy Sapa. Highly highly recommend.
Could have stayed longer...

Zu, Tom and the girls were so so lovely. Just down to earth generous people and very helpful. We were the only guests when we stayed. Highly recommend the day trekking trip with Mo and Tom and the food was delish too.

Absolutely wonderful homestay! We came there fleeing from Sapa traffic and noise and found a nice homestay in the valley with a view on the main peaks of the area. The owners are extremely helpful with your needs and prepare exquisite breakfast, lunch and dinner. We chose a long trekking with a local guide arranged by the homestay and went for a trip around the valleys among some villages with different ethnicities, with stunning views on the rice terraces and the mountains.
We totally recommend this stay for anyone who doesn't bear the city noise.
Thank you!

Zhu and Thung were very helpful during my stay in SA PA. I did solo traveling but I feel like my whole family were there. They arranged pickup, trekking tour, cooked me for breakfast-lunch-dinner (I do love the beef Pho). I had a very pleasant stay. I got to play with her 2 kids, named My and Vhy. They are very welcome with guests and arrange a “Happy Water”, thus we had a great night talk with other guests across the continent . I can’t wait to stay again in My’s homestay, YOU ARE THE BEST HOST EVER! Love from indonesia❤️

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place was at a good location, and we also booked a trekking tour through the homestay.
For me, it was important to be somewhere out of Sapa centre and crowds, and it was a perfect place to escape since it is located 20 minutes from the centre by taxi.
