About this house rental

1920's two level cottage with multiple decks and a private inground swimming pool. This home boasts water views from every room. Beach is a short walk or bike ride away as our two large fishing ponds with miles of hiking and bike trails. The cottage combines old World charm like an original stone wood burning fireplace, heart pine floors, stained glass and original tin ceiling with modern amenities such as central a/c, granite counters, Anderson low e windows, modern appliances and a whirlpool tub.
A community marina located right behind the home has a small boat launch so bring your kayaks and canoe.
Boasting one of the largest private community beaches in Maryland. The community beach provides a panoramic view of the Chesapeake Bay and the entrance to the Rhode river. Crabbing boats slowly motor by as do the Baltimore Cruise ships passing. It has a swimming area, bike racks, is dog friendly and a large play ground.
The home has an inground pool, multi level decks and a wrap around porch. An entertainers delight as the kitchen has a large island with windows overlooking the water. Master bedroom deck overlooks the water of Cadle creek and the pool area below.

Our family enjoyed staying at Anastasia and Brian's cozy cottage. It was the perfect "home base" for our celebration. Hosts were responsive to any questions / matters. I would recommend this cottage and hope to return again to enjoy all it has to offer.

This is a well maintained 100 year old weekend cottage with an in-ground pool. If you’re expecting a brand new build keep looking. The home is comfortable and is in a very quiet neighborhood with beach access and some wonderful walking trails. It was a great location for us to take day trips to D.C., Annapolis, and Chesapeake Beach. The pool was fantastic but we only used it one day due to the weather being cooler than expected. Brian met us at the house and made sure we knew to contact him with any issues. It was a very laidback vacation with no issues so we never needed to. Thanks Brian

Pool was terrific and the main draw for our elementary aged kids. Home was spacious for our family of 5. As others have mentioned in past reviews, a good deep clean would be greatly appreciative and increase the value of the property. There were plenty of bed linens and towels for our larger family and the washer and dryer were a great addition. The fire pit was a nice and the ac worked well.

Loved Edgewater, Great Host

We stayed with our two young children, 1 and 4, and the house is great for kids. The first floor is spacious and has plenty of floor space for play. The bedrooms are roomy and we put a pack’n’play in the 2nd bedroom and it never felt cramped moving around. The pool is perfect, we had so much fun in the backyard within minutes of arriving. The neighborhood beach is great for young swimmers and dogs (very shallow) - there is netting around the area by the playground which seems to do well in keeping the jellyfish out and the breezes kept the bugs away. We visited Triton Beach and while in Annapolis, did the Pirate Adventure boat tour - highly recommend if you are visiting with kids. Brian was an excellent host, very responsive, and helped me navigate the area. There are crab traps in the yard and nearby access to crabbing and fishing at the end of the street. The house is comfortable, well-appointed, clean, and offers gorgeous views in the back. We hope to return!

This property was clean, well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood. It was just the relaxing getaway we needed. The photos of the pool area do not do it justice as it appears there have been many improvements since they were taken. The stairs, as mentioned in other reviews, are narrow and steep, but if you don't have a mobility issue it shouldn't be an issue. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dogs to enjoy and the communication from Brian and Anastasia was great. We would love to stay again when the opportunity come up!

We had a great stay in Beverly Beach at the cottage! Brian was very responsive in answering any questions we had and offering suggestions for the area and local fun to have with the family. We stayed for the week with our girls and had plenty of room for game nights and many many hours at the pool, which was beautiful! Would definitely come back again.

Great experience! Would stay there again!

Overall we had a great time and the house was clean and lovely. I recommend bringing TP as we ended up running out of the two half rolls that were there we arrived. Other than that, it was a great experience! We made a bonfire in the yard and rode the bikes provided by Brian down to the beach. Yard was fenced in which allowed the dogs to run around without leashes. Perfect way to break up the COVID quarantine.

The property is in a great location with views of a marina and a very nice pool in the back and a state park with a beach and trails only about 5 minutes away. However, we cut our trip short because the property was not thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. There were short dog hairs nearly everywhere (I'm allergic to some breeds) and the tub was filthy with a drain completely clogged up with hair.

Wonderful long weekend Getaway!

Everything about the property was just as it was in the pictures! We loved the oldness and charm of the property with the modern updates, like the beautiful kitchen and spacious island. We really enjoyed the pool, spacious backyard, views of the water and on the one night it rained we sat on the large front deck and watched the rain with a glass of wine! We definitely want To go back in the winter to wander around and enjoy the quaint cottage with the wood burning fireplace!! Thank you to our wonderful hosts and we can’t wait to return again!!

This place is really all about the outside space... the views of the water, the pool and the easy walk to the beach. The inside is comfortable and well equipped, but the second bedroom really would benefit from an AC in July.

We stayed in Edgewater and the cottage was perfect...25 minutes from Annapolis and was able to bring our dog.... Fenced yard, fireplace with dry split wood, comfortable bed and a reasonable price. What else could you ask for?

This house is very spacious with a lot of charm,, having a floor plan that is very accommodating for friends and family gatherings. The location is great with lots of porches and nice views of the nearby water. I have to agree with Kathleen’s previous review that the place wasn’t clean and lacked essential items in the kitchen The heat and air unit was not sufficiently operating and the water had a sulfur odor and taste to it. The TV only had one channel or the remote wasn’t working. We have stayed at many vacation rentals in Annapolis that have been very nice, sparkling clean, and everything functional with many extras touches for quite a bit less of a nightly rate. This place could be one of those if attention was paid to the areas that were lacking.

Having rented in Annapolis numerous times over the past 3 years, we were thrilled to find this hidden gem in Eastport! A block and a half from The Chart House, a Block and a half from The Boatyard, a Block and a half from the Water Taxi and an easy walk over the bridge to DTA. We loved our stay in this beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home - the backyard and deck would be the envy of anyone DTA!! We had the nicest neighbors and the cutest neighborhood coffee shops, bakeries and brunch shops just a blocks walk in either direction! The home itself was furnished with anything you’d need, comfortable beds, very quiet and a surprise box of local pastries upon our arrival :). We would love to stay again - although with our darling hosts expecting their first baby yet this year...we might not find room for a bit!! Congrats Erin and Emil and thank you for a wonderful stay!!

A charming little cottage that was perfect for my family of 6. Location was perfect. A quiet neighborhood near the water, but only a short drive to town for anything we needed. The kids loved the pool & I got them to put down their phones and interact! Brian, the property owner, was accommodating & easy to contact. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

This home is an unpolished gem! Lots of charm and character. Owner was very accommodating and approachable; even allowing for a late check out time. However, attention to some small details would make this property amazing! Overhead fans in the living room and master worked but the lights didn’t so we were left to use a torchiere lamp in the corner of the living room and small bedside table in the master. Very dark! The doors (especially the patio were difficult to lock or wouldn’t lock at all). The bedrooms are located in what appears to be a converted attic with stairs that were so steep even my teens had to be uber careful and my 76 yo MIL needed assistance using them. The decks are really lovely and make enjoying the pool and views very nice. The kitchen is beautifully redone but needed some TLC and a few more basic essentials (pots, dishes, a deep cleaning, etc). The layout of the kitchen and dining area are open and bright making enjoying family time super easy. We had a great time and the home was certainly adequate for our needs while visiting our daughter at USNA.

Brian lended us his beautiful home for the weekend! It was a great time whether you want to just rest in the living room & watch tv or go swimming in pool while grilling some food. From the opened kitchen & master bedroom balcony you have an amazing view of the lake & can watch the sunrise or sunset. Overall the house was great & would definitely recommend others to book! Brian is very quick to respond to any questions you may have & I would definitely go again!
