In less than an hour from the D.C. Metro area you're transported to your own private shore on the Chesapeake Bay. This cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by nature.
This cottage offers a little sandy beach, big yard, a screened in porch and a deck. Enjoy spectacular sunrises every morning. Grill and enjoy meals on the deck. Read a book on the porch or just relax surrounded by breathtaking views. Go for a swim in the water or take the kayak( 2 singles available) out for exploring the shores of the bay.
This cottage offers two bedrooms plus a private den with a day bed and a trundle bed underneath. A full size air mattress is also available. Two full bathrooms plus bath towels available.
Fully equipped kitchen plus a Kurig coffee maker and regular coffee machine as well.
Master bedroom is a queen size. Second bedroom is a full-size (double) and third bedroom includes a twin day bed plus a twin pullout.

Nice house on the water. Plenty of space for our family. Kayaks were nice. Not too much closeby in the town, but that is fine if youd like a quiet, relaxing stay.

This house works perfectly for my kids and for parents! We all had a wonderful time. Ilda is always great at communicating. This was our second time renting this house and we hope to come back.

Water was just warming up, so we were spared jellies & the kiddo could wade into the water and collect shells. Great spot to get away from DC for a few days!

Beautiful property on the water. Interior was comfortable and pleasant. Was easy to child-proof for our 10-month-old. Kids loved the little beach in the back yard! We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water.

We had a fantastic stay! The lovely cottage was quiet, peaceful, clean and safe – and the bay views are to die for!! The host assured that we had all the important amenities plus extras of everything (towels, sheets, toiletries, etc.). The kitchen was fully equipped too! Everything was exactly as described. We spent Saturday morning sitting out watching the gorgeous sunrise and listening to the bay sounds. Although Sunday’s weather was cloudy and rainy, the peaceful atmosphere cannot be beat! We came in from out of state and were able to reconnect with local family – it was a fantastic time. Lots of nearby restaurants with delicious food – Skipper’s seafood can’t be beat; we also had sandwiches at the South County Café – delicious! Although we didn’t have time, locals rave about their breakfast too! I would WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend this gem of a place! I am hoping we can come back again when the weather will allow for kayaking!

The property is very nice and it’s quite. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay with family. Property is clean. We enjoyed the view of the bay and watched boats and sail boats as well as enjoyed the outside, the sun room and the fireplace with our babies. Checkin is easy. We have no complaints about the property and look forward to hopefully staying here again in the future.

Cottage was exactly as described but somehow pictures don't do it justice. Perfect location for our family to have a relaxing vacation, but close enough to be able to easily visit locations such as Washington DC. House had everything we needed, and more. Thank you for sharing your property with us

Very relaxing stay! Our family enjoyed spending the week together! Absolutely beautiful views of the bay! We enjoyed watching Osprey every morning with a cup of coffee! Big grass yard to play games and perfect little beach to access the water!

Great stay! Quiet, peaceful, clean and safe. The house had all important amenities plus extras of everything (towels, sheets, toiletries, etc.). Gourmet kitchen was well equipped with great views of the water. The dock is slightly shorter than pictured due to storm damage and the leftover section has been moved over to the sandy area but there was still enough room for our little ones to be entertained for a while though. Loved hearing the birds each morning and small waves crashing at high tide. Kayaks were super fun too as there wasn't much boat traffic at all. Really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living with the screened in porch and multiple deck spaces. A great place to unwind and reconnect as a family!

Had a great time at this property. We spent most of the weekend in the screened in porch just reading and relaxing and watching the osprey. The neighborhood is quiet. The property was clean and as advertised. We would definitely stay again.

We travelled from Canada and shared the cottage with our son, daughter-in-law and 16-month-old grandson for 3 nights. The cottage is exactly as described and had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful weekend together. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking. There’s a grocery store a few minutes away and Annapolis is just a short trip for exploring. The best part is the beautiful, peaceful waterfront location and the many windows and screened porch that allow maximum enjoyment of the view. The cottage host is pleasant to deal with and responds quickly to messages. We’d love to visit again!

This home with its spectacular view of the bay is perfect for a small group. Weather wasn't the greatest, but we could still enjoy the screened in porch. Lots of extras in the kitchen, and with linens, that add that extra touch. Owner was very responsive when the refrigerator needed fixed. We definitely want to stay here again.

Like our last VRBO place, we spent our evenings on the screened-in porch. The view was spectacular and accompanied by the sound of lapping waves. Plenty of great places to eat and enjoy excellent seafood.

This house was perfect for our young family. The house location was perfect about 30 minute drive from Annapolis and 40 minutes from DC. Twin bed and trundle were perfect for the kiddos while the bedrooms for the adults were comfortable as well. Amazing views, especially watching the cruise ship pass. Outside little beach was perfect for the kids and the kayaks were great and easy to get out from the deck. Can’t wait to go back.

My husband and I booked this as a little summer getaway and we asked our parents to join us. This property we the perfect place to relax and enjoy some downtime. The house was clean and the beds were so very comfortable, so much we want to know what brand the mattresses were. It was close to Annapolis where we spent one day. Shopping for groceries were close and we loved Happy Harbor for dinner. We can’t wait to book again.

This neighborhood is very quiet and the property is located right on the bay and very beautiful. Nice and clean as well, had everything we needed. About a 45 min drive to the nearest metro station to get to DC, which is also nice.

We are completely spoiled after the view at this house. There's just no way to explain how priceless that is. As an added bonus, the kids got to watch cruise ships and big cargo ships go by out in the bay and there were lots of what we think were Ospreys nesting close by. There is also a nice little beach area. I think guests who stayed before of us might have left things a mess because there were boogie boards and oars, trash and stained cushions in the screened-in porch area. The rest of the house was very clean though. There was excellent water pressure which is always a nice bonus. The location was great. It was close to Annapolis, DC and all the sites across the Bay Bridge. It was also close to North Beach so we could return to the great cheese shop that we had found there last fall. :) Thanks for sharing your wonderful house with us Ilda!!

We spent our Thanksgiving at this property and it was idyllic. The interior of the house has been quite tastefully renovated--it is inviting, warm, and comfortable. The view of the bay from the house is breathtaking. The location is great and a grocery store is just a short trip down the road. I highly recommend this property--would stay again.

The sunrise on our first day was amazing. The views are incredible and the sound of the waves was very peaceful. The temperature was just right to leave the sliding doors and some windows open to enjoy the sounds. The cottage was spacious and the kitchen was fully stocked. We had everything we needed for our short get away. Would love to stay again!

We recently spent 4 relaxing nights in this beautifully decorated, cozy, light-filled home. The pictures don't do full justice to this house We loved spending all day out on the screen porch and the deck watching all the wildlife (herons, osprey, geese, gulls, cormorants). A special treat was seeing the golden eagle who briefly stopped for a rest in the empty osprey nest. Evenings were spent inside, curled up with a good book listening to the weaves and just relaxing. For us, it was the perfect antidote to a very stressful year. We are hoping to have the opportunity to come back again!
