Charming stunning hotel & location

Beautiful stunning hotel , restaurant and area charming hotel very friendly staff

Air con could have been colder but we were in middle of the hottest heat wave Italy have ever had! So don’t think it was there fault only stayed 2 nights so didn’t mention it if we were staying longer might have said

Best vacation of my life

Every meal I ate at Palazzo confalone was the finest quality I've experienced in my life. The beauty of the hotel is arresting. It also smells really good there. The service was exceptional! The staff at Palazzo confalone are so caring and attentive-they thought of everything. It was the luxury of a beautiful property with the familial comfort of staying with friends. The room was sparkling clean, they work very hard to maintain the highest standards. The bed was comfortable and I'll look forward to my return. Simply the best hotel ever

Unique experience

The service was exceptional as was the beautiful location on the hills of Ravello. Room had an amazing terrace leading to a heavenly garden with spectacular view. The restaurant has outstanding breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The service was the real highlight, as the staff helped us with parking, reservations and any requests we had. Truly, thank you!

Bathroom could be renovated and toiletries should include conditioner.

Disappointing

The only redeeming factor about this hotel is the complimentary breakfast, which we enjoyed. The breakfast staff were amazing, particularly Ludovico, who greeted us warmly and with a smile every morning.

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and it did not meet our expectations nor did it feel similar to other 5 star hotels we've stayed at before. There were many insects in the room and our WiFi did not work during the duration of our stay. When we initially called the notify them about WiFi issues and insect issues, they insisted they weren't issues. We would not recommend this hotel or stay here again. Especially in terms of value for price.

This is a magical town and a beautiful Villa/hotel.

The location and the view is amazing. The hotel is A gorgeous villa that dates back to the 11th century. The staff was very helpful and gracious. The breakfast was amazing in a beautiful dining room overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There were choices on the menu and the food was delicious. I felt like royalty being transported back into time.

For the price it seemed a little stingy. There was only one bar of soap. They did not provide water except to charge you in the mini bar.

A very Lovely staff make this hotel shine. Also, a great location next to the square and bus station which is key. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, and the hotel itself is a wonderful balance of original charm and contemporary enough to be very comfortable. Great beds!

We sadly didn't enjoy any of the food at the hotel including breakfast or room service.

A memory for life

It was a last minute booking. We got an amazing welcome by Salvador the night manager! Very friendly and passionate. The room had an amazing vieuw! And the breakfast was simply amazing. All in all the service was on point and very kind and patient.

Magical

This beautiful Villa up high in Ravello coast line was just perfect, breathtaking views across the Amalfi coastline. The staff were amazing nothing to much trouble Ela the receptionist was alway so welcoming on our return extremely helpful with tourist information for us.

We were there for a wedding. The hotel is a fairytale location and the wedding was fabulous.

The coffee pot had a broken spout and I'm pretty sure the decaff coffee was instant. It was just about the worst cup of coffee I had in 10 days on the Amalfi coast. Disappointing given the price of this hotel.

Good ac, main part of the hotel was beautiful. Staff were helpful too.

We didnt actually stay in the hotel itself, but rather one of the rooms across the road which did not match the quality; this was unexpected. The room itself felt tired, with damp in places. We did a six-stop tour of the Amalfi coast and while this is a perfectly good spot, it didn’t feel like a 5 star place based on the room we had.

great view, good location, tidy rooms

breakfast - very limited options. especially for children. The only fresh juice was pineapple on one of the days. very strange. no turn down service or fresh towels in the evening, this is standard for 5* for being owned by a family involved in wine, there could have been some better “wow” wines on the menu.
